"Sawadee khrab, P'Kit!", Ming and Frame greeted Kit who was sitting by himself during break time.

"Sawadee khrab, why are you here?".

"I missed my P'KitKat too much that I can't bear not being able to see you for even a second!", Ming said with a bright smile.

"Ngo, where's Nong Yo?", Kit asked, ignoring whatever Ming had said.

"P'Pha took him away, where's P'Beam anyway?", Frame said.

"Somewhere flirting around with girls, or maybe he's with Ai'Forth at the moment", Kit answered.

"P'Kit, have you eaten?", Ming asked with concern.

"I'm not hungry", Kit lied but was found out immediately as his stomach betrayed him. Ming and Frame chuckled at this which made Kit blushed in embarrassment, cursing internally.

"I'll go get something for us then. Frame, take care of P'Kit for me!", Ming announced before he ran off to get the food, leaving the two in an awkward situation. Until one of them broke the ice.

"Say, P'Kit...", Frame trailed off.

"What is it?", Kit said as he gestured for Frame to continue.

"Do you...like Ming?", Frame asked. Kit's cheeks went red at this point and was hesitating as he, himself did not know of his feelings for Ming. It was so sudden that Kit stood up and shouted at Frame,"Why would I ever like him?!".

"Shit...I-I'm sorry, Frame", Kit apologised but Frame wasn't listening as the person whom they were talking about was standing not far away from them. The one and only Ming.

Kit actually regretted it as soon as those words escaped from his mouth. He had no intentions of saying those words but they came out anyway and there was no point taking them back as what's done is already done.

Kit turned his head towards the direction of where Frame was staring at before his eyes widened in shock. Ming was just standing there, looking upset with the food in his hands. None of them dared to speak until Ming took a few steps forward and placed the food down on the table.

"I'll take my leave now, P'Kit", Ming said, looking at the floor before he left. Frame tried to chase after him but was stopped by a Ming whose voice was cracked, asking for him to inform teacher that he's unwell.

Ming went back to his dorm that day and waited till night time came so that he could call his best friend. Unwillingly, he cried and cried for the first time in years as he told Yo about what had happened to him.

"Y-Yo...I-I really don't know what to do...Am I supposed...to give up on my first love..? ", Ming asked desperately, sobbing between every words to get an answer.

"Ming...", Yo was surprised indeed that his best friend was crying since he had always been a strong person. Yo wanted to comfort him but he had no idea of what to say. He did not want to make the situation even worse than it was.

All he could do was listen, listen to the cries of his precious friend. Yo really felt like crying with him. It hurt him to know that Ming was hurting.

On the other hand, Kit was worried for Ming. He was pacing back and forth in his room with his phone, debating with himself if he should actually give Ming a call. He felt sorry for what he had said and he also wondered if Ming was hurt by his words. After minutes and minutes, he had finally decided to send him a text instead.

Are you alright? 7:33PM
*seen*

typing....

Kit found it unusual as Ming was taking a long time to reply to his messages even though normally, he spent less than a minute to do so.

It was after a few minutes that he received a reply from Ming, he quickly went to his chatroom only to read a short message, saying...

I'm fine 7:37PM

"And that was it? No emoji, no flirtation and no teasing? He must be really upset with me", Kit thought to himself worriedly.

"Wait, why do I even care if he's upset with me?".

"But it's true that I'm at fault", he said with a small pout.

"It's best to apologise tomorrow when I see him", Kit told himself and nodded in agreement at his own thought.

"Yo...I decided to take a break... From everything...", Ming said, voice breaking as he cried.
