Pha and Beam did not pay Kit a visit as he asked them not to worry too much about him since he had already took a long nap, feeling better than he ever did. He went back to his class after break time was over, getting jumped by in the process by his two idiotic yet loving best friends.

"Kitty! I was so worry!", Beam exclaimed.

"Ai'Beam, you're overreacting", Kit smiled.

"Kit, take care of yourself a little, will you? Don't make us worry, Beam almost died from shock", Pha chuckled. Beam pulled away from the hug and smack Pha's arm lightly.

"By the way, Yo said 'get well soon, P'Kit'. He was worried too", Pha said.

"Oh ya, Forth was the same. He said to take care of yourself cause' you're his favourite Nong", Beam said.

"Ai'Beam, are you jealous?", Kit teased.

"Stop teasing me, Kitty! Also, are you sure you're fine now?", Beam asked, voice filled with concern.

"Chai~", Kit answered, giving them a reassuring smile.

"By the way, Pha, thank you for helping me earlier", Kit said.

"Arai? It wasn't me", Pha said, looking confused.

"Then was it Beam?", Kit said as he stared at Beam.

"Eh? Mai chai! It's Nong'Ming", Beam denied.

"Ming?", I questioned with a raised brow.

"Ah! Chai! I saw him running while he carried you on his back!", Pha exclaimed as he clapped once when he remembered what happened earlier.

"If it's him then...why did he lie?", Kit wondered, feeling happy as bit was Ming who helped him. Then the warmth he felt earlier must came from the back of Ming's too. No wonder it was so soothing.

Kit stayed back at school to use the library that afternoon. Pha and Beam advised him to head home early as it was said that it would rain cat and dogs on that day. But Kit being the stubborn Kit, he insisted. Once he was done, he left the library but couldn't leave the school as it started to rain heavily.

He stayed on the inside, watching as the water droplets fell from the sky and wet the ground. It was getting cold and chilly so Kit started to shivered a bit.

"I can do this, my car isn't that far away from here", Kit thought and started to run and started to regret when he realised it was parked further away. He started to sneezed but looked up when it stopped raining. He widened his eyes when he was met with the one and only Ming. He was holding his leather jacket over Kit's head. 

"M-Ming?", Kit said, confused.

"I'll escort you to your car, until then, please keep quiet and watch your steps, P'", Ming said without looking at Kit and they started to run towards Kit's car. Ming let him entered the car before he went off towards his own car, running under the heavy rain.

"That idiot", Kit mumbled, feeling butterflies in his stomach.
