Second chapter woohoo ok so I kind of decided to skip the part where they meet Shiemi because nothing would happen other than Yukio and Tsuki bickering but if you guys what me to write it let me know. K on with the story.

Rin opens his eyes slowly he had the weirdest dream last night, only remembering bits and pieces. Something about a girl crying out a name... yeah, sounds about right.

He was pulled out of his thoughts by Tsuki who was peaking her head in through a crack door, "Hi Rin! Shitty glasses told me to wake you up. But it seems I don't need to." Rin nods oblivious to the bright red blush that was on his cheeks, as he watches her leave.

After snapping out of his daze he gets up and ready for school, which was so boring for him he had fallen asleep. Tsuki chuckles, which alerts the teacher to notice that the poor son of Satan was asleep. The teacher shouts his name, making Rin sit straight up and yell "SUKIYAKI" as if it was the answer to a question. Rin was super embarrassed, he just made a fool of himself, not that he minded but he didn't want Tsuki to think he was a loser. Tsuki smiles and hands him a piece of chocolate from the chocolate bar she was eating, he nods thanking her quietly.

A guy near the back of the class grunts "why do they even bother comin?" he asks himself out loud. His complaining was heard by the pair who look at the guy 'oh it's just Tatsuma Suguro's son' Tsuki thought to herself, 'maybe I should visit sometime'. "I wish they'd leave," he mumbles again, Rin looks at the guy confused for a moment before turning back around thinking about how a while back if he was in the same situation he would have gotten into a fight with him. But now he was focused on becoming an exorcist, he grins happily as he thought about himself wearing the exorcist uniform and then gets off track and starts daydreaming about it oblivious to the teacher who was once again scolding him.

Next was Demonology, the teacher was talking about demons and asks what the lowest order of demons related to the Astaroth the King of Rot was. The teacher asks Rin for the answer, who blinks a few times before saying that he's never seen one. "It's a Coal tar Rin" Tsuki whispers as she holds out a tiny piece of chocolate for the Coal tar to eat, it accepts and eats it happily.

After that it was Yukio's class Demon Pharmaceuticals, where he was handing back the results of a test they recently had, Shiemi looks excited after telling Rin that she's good in this class. Though she only got a 41, Rin playfully teases Shiemi until he gets his test back which was only a 2. The guy from earlier shows off his 98 to Rin and Tsuki then starts talking about how everyone here is trying their best and that Rin and Tsuki were slackers because they both take naps during class. "Okay, I'll leave," Tsuki blankly says making Rin look at her shocked.

"WHEN YOU BEAT THIS!" Tsuki shows off her score of 100, the guy looks pissed, while Rin is even more shocked than before. "But how?! All you do is draw and read manga during class!!" he growls, Tsuki shrugs "I guess 'slackers' can do well too" she replies with a smirk. Rin pouts saying he's working hard too, "you've never taken class seriously!" the guy yells, his two friends have to hold him back so he doesn't pounce on Rin, they also apparently called him 'Bon'.

"I prefer action! I can only learn hands-on!" Rin argues back while also being held back but by Yukio who was smiling and agreeing with 'Bon', "yes, yes you're absolutely right, please tell us more." Rin swats his younger brother's hands away "who's side are you on?!"

Yukio sighs in response "who's side do you think?"

The bell rings before any more shenanigans happen.

Rin, Tsuki, Shiemi, and Yukio were sitting on a fountain in the courtyard. "What's that guy's problem? Is he smart?" Rin asks out loud, "Actually he is, like me he's here on a scholarship his name is-"

"Ryuji Suguro, the heir to a temple in Kyoto I know his father, funny guy." Tsuki interrupts, Yukio just coughs a few times before continuing. "he gets good grades, performs well physically, and takes class seriously. And he tries harder than you do, you should take a few pointers from him." Rin frowns, Tsuki glares at Yukio for a second 'how could he talk like that to his brother the only family he has...'

"Didn't you hear what Rin said earlier? He said he learns hands-on." Sadly Yukio wasn't listening and was instead asking Shiemi how she was doing getting used to school.

After that Yukio leaves because he has a class, there was then an awkward silence after he left until Shiemi spoke. "Rin....Tsuki?" the two turn to the blonde girl, "Am I out of place here?" she asks looking down fiddling with her haori (look it up)

Rin thinks for a moment, "you mean because you're not trying to become an exorcist?" Shiemi nods in response to Rin's question. Rin smiles "that's all right. All kinds of people are here." Tsuki nods in agreement, "yeah, it's okay if you don't know what you wanna do."

"Rin...Tsuki...do...do you have any friends?" Rin looks at Shiemi confused while Tsuki nods in response, "I've had her for a long time, she goes here too just... not as often. I also have Rin" Shiemi looks at Rin, "it's just... um... R...Rin you and I, uh..."

"well, well, flirting again I see." 'Bon' says with a smirk, Rin whips his head around to face 'Bon' so fast Tsuki thought it would pop right off, "N-N-NO ONE'S FLIRTING!!!" Rin yells while stuttering. "Yeah right, what? is one girl not enough so you had to go and bring another to this elite school?"

"It-its not like that damnit!" Tsuki and Rin shout at the same time, 'Bon' chuckles "then what is she just a friend?"

Rin looks at Tsuki for a second "she's no... a friend" Shiemi's eyes widen, she had thought they were friends.

'Bon' chuckles "Sure, I get it" Rin glares at 'Bon' "what about you?! You're always hanging around.... with those flunkies!!! Talk about dorky!!" he argues back, which makes one of 'Bon's' friends snicker.

It was now P.E/Psychical training, where Rin and 'Bon' were being chased by a frog-looking demon known as 'Reapers'.

Tsuki wasn't paying attention, being more upset about the poor Reaper that was chained up tied up to a platform while its fellow Reapers were in cages above them. Something happened between 'Bon' and Rin because they had to stop the training so the teacher could talk with 'Bon'.

During that talk, Rin got to talk to 'Bon's' friends Shima and Konekomoru, telling him about how 'Bon' wants to defeat Satan and restore his tempel because it was ruined on the 'Blue Night', Tsuki froze when that night was mentioned. The teacher leaves due to a booty call, which makes Bon start to complain about how he expected the teachers at the school to be full of serious teachers. Then complaining about how the students suck, specifically looking at Rin and Tsuki while saying it.

"Get off it would ya?! How would you know how serious we are?" Rin argues Tsuki nods in agreement. "Your attitudes in class!!" 'Bon' yells getting upset 'humans sure do get upset over weird things' Tsuki thought to herself. "Why is it so important to you?" she asks raising an eyebrow, she was getting annoyed at this whole argument, it was just grades it shouldn't matter in a real-life situation such as a battle.

"It isn't! I just feel that only those who take things seriously should be learning here!"

"Your argument is flawed, people should come here because they want to learn, it shouldn't matter if they're good or not" Tsuki replies crossing her arms angrily. Sadly Tsuki's words were ignored, 'Bon' challenges Rin to touch the Reaper without getting attacked, Rin smirk "Interesting...."

"But.."

"No thanks" Rin answers while picking his nose, Tsuki smacks Rin's hand telling him to not pick his nose. Rin pouts nodding before looking back at 'Bon', "Are you stupid, what if I failed or died?"
"But... I've got the same ambition that you do... so I cant die over something ridiculous like this." Rin finishes and walks towards Shiemi with Tsuki. 'Bon' gasps as he glares at his friends for a moment knowing they told Rin, then glares at Rin. "You're just scared!!"

"Why don't you fight?! Arent you frustrated?!!" 'Bon' yells, Tsuki thinks that 'Bon' was thinking of someone else and not Rin, most likely his father. 'Bon' goes down towards the Reaper, "I'm gonna do it! You wait there, coward!" he points at Rin.

'Bon' ignores his friend's warnings, Tsuki sighs, knowing he isn't in the right mindset to face a Reaper, though it's not like he'd take her advice if she gave him any so what was the point, "he'll learn on his own I guess" she mumbles.

Meanwhile, Bon was walking towards the Reaper he shouts that he was going to defeat Satan. A girl with long purple hair and small eyebrows named Izumo Kamaki laughs at him calling him a child. 'Bon's' confidence vanishes in an instant, being replaced with sadness, making him vulnerable to the Reaper. The frog demon pounces at 'Bon', Rin in a flash goes in front of 'Bon' taking the hit head-on!

Everyone but Tsuki watches in horror, Tsuki casually walks over to the two demons and 'Bon' (A/N: that could be the name of a band 'the two demons and Bon' XD) "Let me go." Rin mutters, the Reaper doesn't respond, "I said LET ME GO!!!!" Rin yells as his eyes start to look more demon-like as he glared at the Reaper. The demon lets Rin go then looks at Tsuki for a moment before nodding.

"What the hell was that?! Just how dumb are you?!" Rin mumbles before turning around to face 'Bon', "Now listen up! I'm the one who's gonna defeat Satan! So just stay outta my way!" Rin yells angrily while Tsuki was in the background giving the Reaper affection.

'Bon' blinks a few times trying to understand what just happened, "you... you're the stupid one! You coulda died! And don't steal my ambition!" Tsuki sweatdrops 'are you serious'

"I didn't steal anything! It was my idea!!" Rin retorts, Tsuki rolls her eyes watching the two bicker, "you're both acting like children, it's kinda cute I guess." Rin and 'Bon' look away from each other blushing from Tsuki's words.

The next day Rin was trying to read his school books when Yukio interrupts him asking what he's doing. "What does it look like he's doing mister professor?", Tsuki mumbles as she was doodling.

" studying!" Rin replies annoyed his brother interrupted his focus, Yukio looks shocked, "could this be an omen?" he asks sarcastically. Tsuki and Rin look up at Yukio angrily, "Got a problem with that four-eyes!" they yell at the same time. Yukio shrugs and doesn't say anything, while Rin complains about how his hair is getting in his eyes, 'Bon' then gives Rin a hair clip, which looks super cute on Rin.
