Aiden's Point Of View

I blink my tired and groggy eyes wearily before I choose to sit up. I realize as I slowly come to my senses, that my entire surrounding had changed.

I didn't know I would take that as a good or bad sign.

Either way, I got a pretty comfortable sleep in the bed I was in now, so I decided to fall back and continue sleeping. At the least, I should enjoy it while I can. If you haven't realized, I'm a normal girl. I have the same habits like sleeping in and not doing homework.

Now that I think about it, what about the true world? What's happening there while I'm here?

I yawn softly, knowing that I'm too lazy to think about it now. Instead, I cuddle back into the soft silk-like bedsheets and warm thread.

"Well, it's seems you've woken up."

Suddenly, I jolt up; my hair a large mess due to the fact that I was actually rubbing my head in very thoroughly into the soft pillows. I guess the hair can wait until later. I return my attention back to the area where the voice came from, my eyes greeted by a girl. A beautiful one at that.

Although her style was simple, it made her seem unique. This girl, a teen in fact, gave off the type of vibe that you get when you stand in front of royalty. Although she wasn't wearing a crown or anything like that, she still glowed of brightness and happiness. Her skin was pearl white, which was a bit peculiar to me but nonetheless, still beautiful. She had brown hair with bangs which hangs over one of her eyes, giving that casual feeling. Then to top it off, she wears a pair of red earmuffs that look almost like a cherry on an ice cream.

"Who're you?" I ask as seriously as I can, hoping to cover up my still blurry vision and create a very alert facade.

Obviously, it didn't work.

Right after I asked, I yawned, making my complete facade go to waste. Well, so much for acting...

"I believe that I am entitled to ask you the same question, my young child." She answered. She sat down at the end of the bed, making communication a little better for the both of us.

Reluctantly I answer the girl, "My name is Aiden."

"Hm, what a peculiar name for such a beautiful girl..." The girl murmurs as she makes a 'T' sign with her hands (as you would when you call time out in a game of tag, etc.) and a small screen pops up in front of her. When I scoot over to take a look, I realize that she's looking at a list of players, probably all the players in this world. I can tell you now, I can't even begin to comprehend how many people are in the world right now. I can't even believe how I didn't run into any players at all before. Some usernames are dissapearing while others re-appear on the screen, meaning that there probably is a way to get out of this world.

I'll keep that in mind.

I continue watching her as she scrolls through the list of names. After a few seconds of silence, she looks above my head and then turns back to the screen. I look above me and sure enough, something was there.

I forgot that there was a screen that told your hunger, health, and username. She was probably looking for my username so she can find me.

When I go to ask her a question, she quickly inturrupts me with curiosity. "It looks to be that you aren't logged into the system. This is definitely an abnormal occurence..." She seemingly mutters to herself. I forget what I was going to say, my mind going to what she just said.

'I'm not in the system?'

"What do you mean, 'I'm not logged in'?" I asked in an emotion that I couldn't seem to identify. I think it was...worry? But that's absurd...

My mind is pulled back to reality, or what I think is reality, as I return back to the task at hand. If I'm not logged into the system, does that mean I don't exist here or does that mean that this is all truly a dream?

If it really is a dream, all I can say is that this is the most vivid dream, not to mention the most awesome, dream that I've ever had.

As if something snapped into place, the young woman's head snaps up and says, "That's it!"

I tilt my head in a confused action, wondering what she just figured out. She made another 'T' sign and the screen dissapears. She stands up immediately and walks over to the closet that I failed to notice beside the bed.

I watch the girl as she walks over to the closet and open it up. Nothing was out of place in the closet. All I could see was a blank, empty closet. Little did I notice the small button on the side, that was hidden from view because the girl was standing in front of it.

She pressed it and above the button came a lever pushed by pistons. She quickly flipped the switch before it could go back and a doorway opened and the lever stayed in its new place. She walked inside the hidden room and dissapeared for a few seconds before re-emerging, holding in her hand and old paper.

"This is a very important paper sent to me by Notch several years ago-" Olivia stated, waving the scroll in her hand.

"Wait, wait, wait," Aiden said, putting her hands up in a stop sign. "Several years?"

"Yes, several years. Now, please don't interrupt any further. I'll answer at the end, alright?" Olivia sighed irately and I crossed my arms in response. This reminded of the times in my school where I had a question for my teacher and they that I'll have to wait until they finish talking. Then when they finish, I've forgotten my question.

Okay, okay, many times my question may have been to the bathroom to miss some stupid lecture, but hey, when I gotta go, I gotta go.

"Aiden...AIDEN!" Olivia called out, snapping her fingers in front of my face. My expression changed to one of recognization as I stopped daydreaming.

"Did you even listen to the story?" She asked, but she had that tone about her that told me that she knew that I wasn't paying attention.

She sighed again, continuing about her story time.

"So, several years ago, Notch sent this scroll to me," she waved it again as she continued to speak. "In this scroll, he said that there will be a special spawn-in. He said that the spawn-in will be one that all the kingdoms go after, for they hold the strength to rule over all."

"That's you, I'm guessing, because he also mentioned that they don't show up on the list radar that shows all the usernames of the people on the server, or in this world." She explained, pointing the paper at me. "Notch knew it was a risky plan but he could see into the future that a large darkness was coming. He said he wouldn't be able to carry out a special plan that he had designed for this task, so it was put on you."

"Why me?" I asked, knowing that this isn't good. All I want to do is go home...

"Wai-" Aiden starts again but she was quickly cut off by Olivia. "Just wait, alright?"

After another short pause, Aiden reluctantly agreed and relaxed her tense self as Olivia continued on with the story.

"He wouldn't elaborate very much but he said that what was needed to carry out the plan was something he'd lost. He said that you'd have the ability to do it, and that's all I know." Olivia raised her hands up again just as Aiden got ready to say more. "I can't answer any more for you there."

Aiden sighed, and so did Olivia. "I know that's a lot to take in, but I'm sure you're the one. Nothing like this has ever occured before and so it has to be you." She said as she got up to leave.

When she was at the door, Aiden asked her one more thing.

"Wait, what am I up against?"

"You'll have to wait and see." She said mysteriously before she left without another word.
