Adam: "We've made it to the finals at Oban, much to everything we've been through on Alwas. And let me tell you, it's beautiful. Of course we're not alone. Other finalists are here too. Including Aikka and the General for Crog Imperium, Kross. He may think he's all scarry and stuff, but I'm not afraid of him, and neither of any other competitors. We came here to win, no matter what. I nearly got third place in our last race, but I ran out of time trying to overtake Kross. After that I had a sincere talk with Don Wei, making him understand that Molly is indeed his daughter Eva. I don't know if he believes me, but it would be for the better good. It still lies in the darkness if Eva will forgive him and admit to being his child, but it's not my business anymore. One thing is for sure, it'll be a hell of an talk between those two in the future"

*Adam POV*

I wake up and start doing some training. Push ups, sit up etc. I was in the middle of doing push up series while Eva woke up

Eva: "Typical Adam *yawn* The first thing in the morning he do is a warm up"

Adam: "Morning to you too Eva" I greet her and continue to do push ups while she looks at me from her hammock. "I didn't know I have an audience"

Eva: "What can I say? I'm enjoying the view~"

Adam: "And where is that Eva who is not into so lovey dovey stuff? Hmmm?"

Eva: "She is back on Alwas"

Adam: "Haha. Okay, you can watch. Just don't make a habit from this"

Eva: "I will try but no promises~" she sings "Hey, Adam. About my dad"

Adam: "What about Don?"

Eva: "Do you think he believes you? Don't get me wrong, I knew sooner or later he'll find out. But I wanted to get mom back first"

Adam: "You can still tell him he's wrong. He'd assume I lied and leave you alone until we get Maya back" I get up "Easy as that"

Eva: "He won't be mad at you?"

Adam: "He can fire me and then I will go to another Star-racing company. I don't have anything to lose" I look at her as she is all troubled "Eva, something's wrong? A penny for your thoughts"

Eva: "I'm just... I'm worried that after everything is done he'd send me back to Stern. And..."

Adam: "He does that and I will break his arm. I'm serious. There are a lot of uses for a screwdriver and a hammer" I think for a little "Even too much..."

Eva: "Adam!"

Adam: "I wasn't thinking about anything too brutal"

Eva: "Oh really?" she puts a hand on her hip and looks at me with disbelievement

Adam: "Okay, maybe a little" Eva sighs

Eva: "Let's say I believe you. Get dressed, we have some time before the race and I want to explore"

Adam: "Eva the explorer. Just don't go to some old temples. Rush is not here to save you again"

Eva: "Oh shut up. I wasn't planning anything like that. Just look outside" I take a glance and see a lot of red trees, just like in Avatar's ship yesterday

Adam: "Okay, I'm up for this"

Eva: "Good. Now if you would get out of the room. I need to change" I nod and leave Eva alone. She exits a while later, letting me change into my usual clothes. After that we went on our way outside

Adam: "Ah Oban" I take a deep breath of the fresh air "We're taking Jordan with us?"

Eva: "I dunno" however, Jordan joins us a while later.

Jordan: "I can't believe this is the same planet we landed on. It was just an endless desert"

Eva: "According to Koji, Oban is much larger than our own sun so we can expect some surprises" she starts running down "Let's check it out!" I run after her, leaving Jordan

Jordan: "Em, wait! Shouldn't we tell Don Wei?"

We stop and turn around

Adam: "Mr. Linger, destroyer of fun and vanquisher of children's smiles? I don't think so"

Eva: "We don't need a dad to come along. Let's go!" she return to running down

Adam: "It's not the military, Jordan. Loosen up!" I follow Eva. Jordan decides to come with us, and us three run down the stairs. After getting through the forest path we get near a river

Eva: "Different region but just as many temples. Look guys, they're everything around us"

Adam: "I remember someone saying she won't explore any more temples"

Eva: "Don't turn into Don Wei, Adam. It will be fun, I tell you"

Adam: "*sigh* Fine"

Jordan: "Whoever built those temples is gone for long" I jump on the rocks and get to the other side of the bank.

Adam: "Come on slowpokes! I'm waiting!" Eva smiles and jumps the same way as me. Jordan also tries to jump on the rocks, but kinda can't keep his balance

Jordan: "Wait for me!" he falls into the water, earning a laugh from me and giggle from Eva

Adam: "Balance is not your strong side, Wilde!"

Jordan: "Oh be quiet!" Eva jumps on the shore and gets near me

Adam: "Go ahead. I will wait for Jordan" Eva nods and gets inside the temple "She and her adventurous spirit..." Jordan also gets to the shore and shakes the water from himself

Jordan: "Like I said, those temples have been abandoned for centuries. Really spooky, don't you... huh? Molly?"

Adam: "Already inside. Better not keep her waiting" I walk towards the temple with Jordan right behind me

Jordan: "You let her go alone?" I nod

Adam: "Molly is a big girl. She can take care of herself" I get onto the fallen pillar inside and walk towards the stairs. I hear splash and turn around thinking Jordan has fallen again, but he only looks up at the window in the temple

Jordan: "Huh?"

Adam: "You saw something Jordan?"

Jordan: "I think so"

Adam: "Hmm. Eh, your imagination for sure.Come on, we've to get to Molly" I turn around "Star! Are you upstairs?!" I get near the top and hear Eva

Eva: "Adam, if it's you then it's not funny" I get upstairs, seeing Eva backing away from something. "Gah!" She ran right into me, bumping off my chest. Eva breath a sigh of relief

Adam: "What's wron-"

Eva:" I hope you're pleased with yourself. I was scared, y'know!"

Adam: "What're you talking about? Me and Jordan were downstairs all the time"

Eva: "Then it's Jordan. What's your deal?! Scarring a girl to the bone!" Jordan joins us

Jordan: "Nope. We were downstairs looking for you" then we hear some stones coming off the wall

Eva: "Huh? I guess it wasn't you two after all" we started walking back

Jordan: "What do you say we head back to our module?"

Adam: "I'm for it"

Eva: "As fast as we can"

???: "Escape is pointless" we turn around to see this small pirate from yesterday "You're at my mercy" We look down at the guy and breath a sigh of relief

Jordan: "Well, that's mystery solved" Jordan lean to the guy "You know, short stuff, you almost scared us"

???: "I should have terrified you" I snicker

Adam: "With what? Are you gonna bite my ankles or lick my legs with that big tongue?"

???: "Laugh all you want, soon you'll shiver with fear" he takes his sable off "For I'm Lord Furter! Master pilot and king of the seven seas!" he points his weapon at us. We hear screams coming from all directions. Furter's crew comes forth with all sorts of mini weapons

Adam: "Oh great. Leprechauns are trying to ambush us" Us three get back to back

Jordan: "What's the big idea, little guys?"

Furter: "Tie up those tourists and find a deep hole to dump them in"

Eva: "You can't do that! We're here to race like you!"

Furter: "Exactly. How do you think we managed to reach the grand final?" his crew laughs "One less team means I'm one step closer to my treasure. The Ultimate Prize!"

Adam: "And what're you gonna wish for? Being at least 5 feet tall?" His crew starts running at us, but me and Jordan just kick them off "Oh man"

Jordan: "Come on. Drop your weapons and fight us like a man. We'll take you all on!" However one crewmate sneaks behind Jordan

Eva: "Jordan!" the crewmate hits him square in the head

Jordan: "Ouch. That hurts..." he falls down. I grab the crewmate with the pipe and throw him out of the temple

Adam: "Nice pirates. More like cowards, hitting someone from behind"

Eva: "Adam!" another alien tries to hit me in the head with pipe, but I catch it and throw him at his mates

Furter: "Surround him!" these guys start jumping on me. I try to fight them off but they ground me down quite fast, given one of them was biting my ankles

Adam: "Ow! You fucking bitch, not in the ankles. I hope you don't have rabies" They ground me and tie me up. Same as Jordan and Eva

* Timeskip*

Adam: "You're dead when I get myself free!"

Eva: "Don't touch me! Let us go!"

Adam: "You fucking gnomes!" the drag us to the edge of the platform inside the temple. One of the crewmates throws a rock into the hole, as it falls and falls without the end, making Eva freak out. Furter gets inside

Furter: "Perfect. No one will ever find them here"

Eva: "You wouldn't really do that, would you? This is all a big joke, right? You're playing with us" Furter gets face to face with Eva and creces her cheek

Furter: "Farewell my angel. I will have a fond memory of you when I win the Ultimate Prize"

Adam: "You're so done you fucking bitch! Don't touch her!"

Eva: "You're a monster! A heartless monster!" Furter stops and turns around with a bow

Furter: "Thanks for the compliment" he mentions to his crewmates to throw us down

Eva: "No! No, stop!"

Adam: "You better stop if you want your kneecaps!"

However, the whole temple starts shaking , making the crewmates to stop

Furter: "Come on man. Do the deed!" Jordan meanwhile wakes up

Adam: "Whatever you do, don't look down"

Jordan: "Huh?" he looks down "Aaaa!" he freaks out and the temple starts shaking again. This time a crack appears on the walls and the roof of the temple. The pirates retreat, leaving us tied down. Furter give us a last glare before following his crew. After that we start thrashing around, trying to loosen up the rope. I look up to see one boulder coming off the roof

Adam: "Eva, move!"

Eva: "Look out!" she and Jordan roll to one side and I to the other. The boulder lands behind us and Eva gets an idea "Rub the rope against the rock! Quick!" We try to break free

Jordan: "Come on, faster! Come on!"

Adam: "What the hell is that rope made off! Come on you stupid rope, break!" I look around seeing our time is short "Eva, this is it. I love you"

Eva: "Shut up! We're not dying here!" She looks at the entrance seeing a tall, monkey-like alien "Huh?!" It grabs us in his jaw and makes a run before the temple completely collapses. Eva screams all the way out. He drops us down on the floor where I 'scared' Eva and later jumps up the columns and starts singing?. We stare in awe. Soon more of those aliens appear and start singing together. Jordan meanwhile breaks free

Adam: "Jordan, I have a knife in my pocket. You know what to do later" he nods, gets the knife and cuts the rope around my arms and legs. He later gets to Eva and does the same

Jordan: "Let's split before our friends heat up the cooking pot"

Eva: "I don't think they are dangerous, Jordan"

Adam: "Maybe it's some type of their mate call? Or are they intelligent and worship Avatar?"

Jordan: "Well, I'm not sticking around to find out" he runs off. I walk after him but Eva stares at the creatures. I grab her hand and drag her out

Eva: "Huh?" Us two walk out of the temple, meeting with Jordan near the gate we passed to get here. He sees us and starts running again while aliens stopped their song "Listen, they stopped"

Jordan: "Huh? Run! They know we're gone! Hurry!" we run after him and quickly pass to the other side of the river. I look back to see this alien standing in the gate and staring at us. Later we run up the stairs to our module. When we get to the top, we're out of breath. Eva sits against the wall, Jordan gets on his four and I lie on my back with my arms spreaded out

Jodan: "Next time you're thinking about going on a stroll, you two are on your own"

Adam: "No one *pant* told you to come with us, Jordan. Molly *pant* I will break up with you if you get another stupid idea about exploring temples" Eva looks at mine and Jordan angry faces and smiles before laughing. I smirk and laugh too. Jordan joins us later

???: "I'm glad you're enjoying yourselves" We look up to see Don

Don: "Where on Earth have you been?! WE'VE BEEN WORRIED SICK!!!"

Adam: "More like on Oban, boss" Don growls and we stand up

Eva: "Well... we've escaped an earthquake, survived an alien ambush and-"

Don: "I advised you not to take my authority lightly. Young lady, I'm not here for your childish stories. I'm here to win a race, the greatest race of all. Remember?"

Eva: "...Yes, sir. But we really-"

Don: "Enough! Get to your positions immediately. The second race is about to begin"

Us three: "Yes, sir!" we run inside. Us three get downstairs. Eva and Jordan get into Arrow III while I go near Koji

Adam: "Koji. Did you do something about the fall?" Koji nods

Koji: "We've increased the thrust reactors so the fall should be less bumpy" I nod in acknowledgement

Stan: "And we also fixed the booster drive. Make sure you use them more carefully than Adam, Molly, or you'll be out of fuel in a snap. The races are longer on Oban"

Eva:" Got it Stan"

Don: "Most of all we need points. We must finish at least third. Do not come back without points" Eva closes the cockpit and I get upstairs to the control room. I get my earpiece and radio the duo

Adam: "Y'know. I regret not jumping into this pit. It would be better than to hear Don screaming at us"

Eva: "And I agree. But he is right about one thing, guys. We've got to start scoring points. After all these are the great finals"

Adam: "I will hold my thumbs for you two. Go get those points, Star"

Jordan: "Better sit down and hold tight Adam. We'll throw you out of the chair. Let's rock, partner"

Eva: "Alright!"

Adam: "Let's go, partners! I'm counting on you two!" Soon, Stan, Koji and Don get upstairs too. The floor under Arrow III lights up and our star racer drops down. Eva is struggling with keeping the fall under control "Star, more power. It should make you glide" she listened to me "Alright!"

Eva: "First stone gate located"

Adam: "One more tip, Molly. The faster the arrow blinks, the closer you're to the gate"

Eva: "Roger" I then see her smirking on the video call with me "How about a little payback?" I notice Arrow III getting near the pirate ship. I smirk

Adam: "Go for it" Eva bumps into the pirate ship, making it stumble a little. Molly gets in front of him, right behind Aikka

Koji: "I've got a total of five stone gates for today's race"

Eva: "Roger that" Koji clicks some things on his consol, setting the target on closest gate

Koji: "Start with this one first" Eva turns sharp right and flies towards the first gate. Eva gains on Aikka as he activates G'dar's 'hyperdrive', flying around the island

Eva: "No you won't Aikka" she flies through the island, evading trees from the side and barrel rolling over a rock in the middle of the river. She flies out and in front of Aikka.

Jordan: "So long, pretty boy. I will send you a card" and then I hear the sound of a kiss. I start laughing

Adam: "That's kinda gay, Jordan. Haha!"

Jordan: "Come on, you know what I meant!" Meanwhile Eva flies through the first gate. It lights up in yellow like in my race "Yahoo!"

Eva: "Yeehaha!"

Adam: "Woohoo! Good job guys. These points are ours!"

Don: "Okay, you're in second place but you still have four more gates to go"

Jordan: "Huh? Adam, Stan, Koji, I think I saw something" he switches to turret to the other side "What is that thing? Did you see anything on your scanners?"

Koji: "Nothing. Whatever it was it couldn't possibly keep up with Wheezing Arrow III"

Don: "Check again, Koji. Jordan, keep your eyes open. And fire at the first sign of hostility"

Eva meanwhile gets on Ondai's back and through the second gate. Both of them get in the open water where Eva can use Arrow III's fullest potential. In time they get to third gate, they were neck and neck

Don: "Two more gates. Here's our chance" Eva floors Arrow III and passes Ondai.

'Come on, Eva. You can win. Do this for your family, for Maya. I believe'

However, Furter's ship comes out of nowhere and shoots at Arrow III with some type of homing cannonballs, making Arrow III spin and letting Ondai to get the lead back

Don: "Where in the world did that ship come from?!!"

Adam: "This pirate faggot is dead. I'll make sure of it..." Stan meanwhile puts the pirate ship's blueprints and Koji got its stats

Koji: "It's not fast enough to have gone through all the gates"

Jordan: "Tell him that" he switches the turret and tries to shot them down but a cannonball hits Arrow III, making its right reactor smoke

Stan: "They must've come straight to this location. It's an ambush!" I growl. Eva meanwhile tries to dodge any cannonball coming her way. Jordan shoots at the ship, disabling the front cannon. However, the rest of the cannons turn into grappling hook guns. They shoot and hook Arrow III

Don: "Molly, get away from there!" Eva tries to get Arrow III free, but with no result. The line starts rolling up, getting Arrow III closer to Furter's ship. Jordan tries to shot them

Eva: "You make us both lose you fool! What're you doing?!"

Furter: "I'm boarding your ship! That's what pirates do. They board ships" Eva growls

Adam: "You know what else pirates do? They hang on a noose around their neck. And that's what I'm gonna do with you, you little punk ass pirate wannabe!" Ning and Skun pass Eva with Sul right behind them

Eva: "We were almost there..." Jordan gets out and tries to pry off the hooks from Arrow III. The crew notices this and goes to attack him. Jordan swipes two of them to the water until Furter joins the action. Jordan backs up all the way to Eva's cockpit "Be careful, Jordan. Don't do anything stupid"

Adam: "Jordan, you saw how I trained kendo on Alwas. Stand your ground and try not to get them behind you"

Eva: "Did you hear Jordan? He nods yes, Adam" Then a massive eel comes from the water and nearly swallows both ships in one gulp. Eva however turns, saving both ships from being eaten. "Huh?"

Adam: "With fish like this I could feed up the entire Africa for a month. Star, be careful" The eel emerges in front of them. However Eva does a sharp left, making the hooks to give up and Furter's ship to be eaten "Well, guess I don't need to kick him now" however, the ship emerges from the water a while later "Guess that eel doesn't like cowards and spineless idiots. Molly, you're in fifth place. We can still win it. Ondai and Muir are close" she speeds Arrow III, trying to overtake him. She gets close, but the last gate is right there. Muir passes it, and it lights up. Ondai also passes it but there is no light and when Eva wants to fly through it, it disintegrates

Eva: "*sigh* No points once again... Missed our chance"

Adam: "Eva, it's not your fault. You were great today, girl"

Eva: "Thanks Adam..."

I feel resignation in her voice. I sigh and get down, waiting for Jordan and Eva to return. Soon a yellow light gets from the roof above the drop and Arrow III gets back up. Eva opens up the cockpit to meet with Don while I stand behind him, leaning on the pillars

Eva: "It was a bad day"

Don: "Another bad day. Adam yesterday and you today. Almost winning isn't enough, you two. We came here to win. And we need points to do so. At this rate we'll never catch up with the leaders" Eva walks down the Arrow III.

Eva: "As long as we can fly, we still have a chance" She gets in front of Don "I refuse to believe it's the end of the world" Don gets shocked at those words. Maybe because they were the same exact words Maya always said after her losses. He storms off, walking past me

Adam: "She turned out just like Maya, right Don?" Don growls and walks away "Heh, stupid idiot" I chuckle and get near Eva and Jordan.

Later we get to our rooms. We say Jordan our goodnight and get back to ours. I lie on my 'bed' while Eva lies with her back turned towards me

Adam: "Hey, Eva, you awake?"

Eva: "No. I'm asleep"

Adam: "Don't play those sarcasm games with me, Star. You're better than that"

Eva: "To be honest. I don't know anymore... I just understood that Oban will be a lot tougher than I thought. And that I... I'll never see my mom again..."

Adam: "*sigh* Eva, Eva, Eva. You said yourself that it was a bad day like I got yesterday. And don't worry, we'll bring Maya back"

Eva: "*sigh* Right"

Adam: "Tell you something. Jordan said when we get back on Earth with the Ultimate Prize we will get famous and all the 'big shots' will welcome us"

Eva: "And?"

Adam: "And... I dunno" I shrug "Guess it could go two ways. One, either we get famous or two, they'll make us be silent about the whole Oban. It'll be like nothing ever happened" I looked at Eva's direction "Either way, it won't be nice for me. I don't like the whole fame etc."

Eva: "Says mister 'engineering prodigy', the youngest mechanic at Wei Racing and a pilot from their young program..."

Adam: "Okay, I see... I will leave you alone. Rethink everything and remember your mom's words. As long as we can fly, we still have a chance" Eva gets from her hammock and walks to me without any word. She lies next to me and cuddles to me. I blush "E-Eva?"

Eva: "Shut up, I need this" I sigh and get my arm around her

Adam: "Okay... Goodnight"

Eva: "Goodnight"

We fall asleep

* Timeskip, next day*

I wake up

Adam: "*yawn* Good morning Eva" I look at her hammock, not seeing her. Then I remember she slept with me yesterday. I look down, but I don't see her either "Eva?" I look out of the hole above my bed and to the right to see her standing near the edge

Eva: "Another earthquake"

Adam: "More like Obanquake. Good thing we didn't land today" I get back inside and walk to her. Jordan meanwhile shows his head from the hole in his room

Jordan: "I'm with Adam on that *yawn*" I get behind Eva and look down at the ground. It was full of giant lily pads like plants. Then we hear the singing of the same aliens from yesterday

Adam: "Huh? Those creatures are singing again?"

Eva: "It sounds like it" Jordan pops his head outside again

Jordan: "Oh great, let them eat somebody else"

Eva: "It's strange. The tremor didn't scare them at all. They sound... peaceful. Almost happy"

Jordan: "Whatever"

Adam: "If it's really their mating call, no wonder they're happy" I joke

Eva: "Just be quiet and enjoy some music other than rock, punk and metal"

Adam: "You like rock too... but sure. Make some space" Eva steps to the left, making some space for me to sit down with my legs swinging over the edge

Eva: "Now, close your eyes and just listen" she closes her eyes

Adam: "Okay" I close my eyes and listen to their call.

'It's really peaceful. I almost don't want to kick Furter's ass now' I smile. Then we hear an explosion. We open our eyes and look up the sky to see an orange line pointing upwards from the ground

Eva: "Whoa..."

Adam: "Was that... a birth of a new planet...?" I stand up "Wow" Eva grabs my hand

Eva: "You know, Adam, it's only makes me want to stay here even more"

Adam: "Yeah, me too" Then Jordan appears behind us, not seeing we're holding hands

Jordan: "Come on you two. Show is over. Come back inside before you two get sick" He grabs my arm and grabs me inside. As a result of me and Eva holding hands I land on my back, with Eva on top of me, her hands on my chest and my hands near her butt "Oh my God, I'm so sorry. I didn't know you two had a moment. I better go now" he quickly leaves. Me and Eva look at each other's eyes with a blush

Eva: "Adam..."

Adam: "Eva..." we get our faces closer and our lips connect in a long, loving kiss. "Wow..."

Eva: "Yeah, wow... I love you"

Adam: "I love you too. Eva, we should get ready" Eva stands up and I get up too

Eva: "Did Jordan... just get us to make out?"

Adam: "More like interrupting our listening session. Oh, by the way, you pilot today"

Eva: "And why is that?"

Adam: "Because" I get my hand on the back of my head. I get it in front of me to see some blood "Jordan kinda busted my head when I got to the ground" I show her my bloodied hand and she freaks out

Eva: "Adam! Are you okay?! You don't feel dizzy?! We need to get you to the hospital!"

Adam: "Eva, calm down. Get the bandage and some gauze. I don't need stitches, it's a small skin cut, nothing more" we walk back to our room. Eva get the medical supplies from my bag and starts bandaging my head

Eva: "I will kick Jordan's ass"

Adam: "Don't. He didn't mean any harm"

Eva: "And still he busted your head"

Adam: "We'll just bandage it and it will be alright. Remember back in Stern when I also busted my head. We didn't want anyone to find out so we took care of it ourselves. I was okay after all"

Eva: "I still wonder how in the world could you take the exam the same day. And get A+ from it"

Adam: "A little nausea won't stop me" I smirk

Eva: "Hold still! It won't hold if you wiggle too much"

Adam: "Okay, okay. How much longer?"

Eva: "A little more" he wraps my head the final time "And done!"

Adam: "Alright! Let's get down and win some points" We exit our room and start going down the stairs. Eva is holding my hand "Eva, I'm fine. You don't need to babysit me around"

Eva: "And what if you felt weak and fell down the stairs? Or what if you trip and the wound reopen? Or-"

Adam: "You just want to hold hands, don't you?" Eva blushes

Eva: "A-And what's wrong with this? We've done this before"

Adam: "Okay. Let's say I believe you" We get near Arrow III where Jordan is waiting

Jordan: "Alright! Let's show them Ada- what happened to your head?"

Adam: "Well, it got busted when you dragged me and Molly inside" Eva growls

Eva: "I hope you're proud of yourself, Jordan" she walks past him and starts climbing the ladder

Jordan: "Geez, she's very protective of you. I'm sorry Adam. I didn't mean. I only wanted to be sure you two won't get sick"

Adam: "Jordan, my friend, I know, but Molly is another matter. Be sure not to upset her too much today or she'll kick you"

Jordan: "Kick?"

Adam: "Kick. Go to the turret" he nods and enters the turret while Don gets near the ladder. Eva looks down at him. But something's wrong with Don

'Heh, Eva using those magic words... Don, you believe me now, right?'

Eva: "Good morning, sir" Don stays silent "Any special recommendations for today?" Don stays silent for a while until gasping and waking up

Don: "In the midst of our ongoing misfortunate" he looks at my busted head and I shrug "We have at least one consolation. None of our adversaries has scored more than once, with.. the exception of Sul. That makes Sul the leader. But, if we can make points-"

Eva: "I understand"

Don: "I'm counting on you to catch up Molly. We haven't fought so hard to reach Oban, just to let everything slip through our fingers. Now, go"

Eva: "Yes sir" she walks up the ladder and enters the cockpit. Me and Don get off the platform and watch her go. Later I want to go to the control room, but Don grabs my arm

Adam: "What's wrong, boss?"

Don: "Did you..."

Adam: "Did I what, sir?"

Don: "Did you... told me the truth?"

Adam: "*sigh* If you don't believe me then call Stern. Or approach Eva yourself. But I don't think she'll tell you the truth" I get his hand off my arm and walk upstairs "I'm sadistic, but not cruel. Why should I joke about something so serious? I know it's been hard for you, Maya's death took a toll on you. And I tell you, I understand. But... you need to make Eva understand too"

Don: " Why would she ever want to talk with me...? After everything I have done..."

Adam: "You're her dad. If not you, then no one else. I may be her boyfriend, but she also needs a dad"

Don: "A-about you two being together-"

Adam: "No. We'll talk after you sort things out with Eva. One thing after another"

Don: "I-*sigh* You're right, Adam. Let's go to the control room, shall we?"

Adam: "After you, boss" We enter the control room and I get my earpiece on

Eva: "Koji, any sign of the gates?"

Koji: "Looks like six total. But be careful, the first three appear vary close together"

Eva: "Okay, got it" I open my stats and a live footage from Arrow's cameras. Eva is sixth, right behind Ning and Skun "I see them!" She speeds up. I look at the front, seeing Kross knocking Furter down right before the gate. I snicker at this

Adam: "Normally I won't cheer for Crogs, but Furter deserved it. You're in the fifth place, Molly. Two more to go"

Eva: "Roger that" Meanwhile Kross shoots at Sul, making him drop down

Adam: "Update, you're forth now"

Eva: "Oka-whoa!" Muir rams into Arrow III, making Eva and Jordan lose their place. Muir passes the gate with Eva right behind him. Eva speeds up the Arrow III and gets next to Muir. Muir tries to sweep them away, but Eva speeds up, allowing Jordan to shoot at him. They pass the third gate while Muir hits it

Don: "Three more gates to go, Molly. We're in forth place" Eva gets on Ning and Skun backs

Eva: "I know I can get them" Ning and Skun turn to the left, flying through some branches and roots "Hang on, Jordan. We've got speed bumps ahead!" Eva maneuvers through the trees. When she gets out, she sees she is about to hit a rock "No!" she pulls up, only scratching the paint on the bottom. Later she flies through a swarm of weird, cute, bunny like creatures

Jordan: "Huh? What're those things? They're really cute. I want one"

Adam: "This is a race, Jordan. Not an alien adoption event" Bunnies get stuck to cockpit shield

Eva: "Huh? *growl*" she tries to shake them off. She does a several barrel roll to get bunnies of the windshield

Adam: "Were they cute Molly?"

Eva: "Yeah, really cute. So cute I would squeeze the life out of them" she scoffs

Stan: "Molly, you're very way off course. What's going on?"

Eva: "I was finding Jordan a friend. But we're back on track now" she flies through the forth gate and catches up with Ning and Skun again. They fly in seperate directions, confusing Eva "Huh? Where're they going?" They appear behind Eva and start firing cross fire "Ah! Here they are!"

Eva does a barrel roll to the left, avoiding lasers from Skun. Jordan meanwhile focuses his fire on Ning (Skun is the bald one with wings, Ning is the one with long hair and no wings). Ning gets in front of Arrow III and Jordan switches the turret to the other side. He continues to fire at her, but she dodges his lasers with ease. Then I got a message on my console: 'Hull damage at 20%'

Adam: "Huh?" I switch to the camera from the back. Only to see Skun entering the turret tunnel "Shit! Jordan, look out!"

Jordan: "Huh? Wha- Ah!"

Eva: "Jordan, are you alright?"

Adam: "Star, Skun is on board. Make sure the hatch is closed shut"

Eva: "It i- hah!" Then I hear some metal scraping and later the sound of kicking. After some more fighting sounds I look at the feed to see Skun exiting Arrow III and Ning getting back to her side "Jordan?"

Adam: "Wilde, do you copy?" I hear him in the radio from the cockpit

Jordan: "I'm alright, don't worry about me. Just get the points, we're in third position now" I look at the feed from the front camera. Eva is getting close to Aikka

Adam: "That's it, Molly. We even have a chance to get second place"

Don: "One more gate to go" He gets his fist up to his face "All hope is not lost"

Adam: "It never was, sir. As long as we can fly, we still have a chance" I smirk "You know, Maya wrote that on my poster" I look back to the race. Kross and Aikka already passed the gate. Now, it's Eva's turn

Eva: "We did it guys!" Then an alarm starts going "Huh?"

Don: "What's going on?"

Adam: "We have two incoming, sir. Two plasma blasts with heatsicking!"

Koji: "Molly, bank away!"

Eva: "I'm nearly there"

Stan: "You have no choice! They're right behind you! You don't have enough time to escape!" he turns to Don "Sir, say something! What should we do?!" Don steps back

Don: "Are you really sure she can't make it?" I growl

Stan: "Oh, sir?!"

Adam: "What the heck boss! Eva, bank away, now!"

Stan: "Molly! Abort! What're the points when you're blown to bits?!"

The plasma shots are getting closer to Arrow III

Don: "No!"

Adam: "Eva!"

Eva: "Here goes nothing" She makes Arrow III shoot up, do a loop with a barrel roll at the top. The two plasma balls pass by. Don gets shocked at the sight while I smirk. Don gasps. Eva meanwhile finishes the loop and shoots forward, making the plasma balls explode off the ground. The force from explosion makes Eva to lose control over Arrow III

Adam: "Eva? Eva, come in!" I look at the feedback to see Ning and Skun passing the gate as it disappears a while later. Then I hear a little whine from Eva "You will get them next time, Star, don't worry"

* Timeskip*

We get Arrow III back to our capsule. Don closed himself in his room and Koji and Stan got to work. They told me to take care of Molly. I knew that, they didn't have to tell me. On my way to her I met Jordan

Adam: "Hey Jordan. Have you seen Molly anywhere?" he nods

Jordan: "On a platform. I'm actually making us some coffee. You want one too?"

Adam: "Sure. I will be with her" he nods and I go in search of Eva. I enter the courtyard "Eva! Are you here?!" I walk up the stairs, upon seeing Eva looking at the horizon I walk behind her and wrap my arms around her "Hey"

Eva: "Hey"

Adam: "You know, you made us all worried, Eva. Even Don"

Eva: "Yeah, sure..."

Adam: "And you pulled off a corkscrew loop in a star-racer. The only one who ever did that before was your mom *chuckle* You really are her daughter" I smile and she looks up at me

Eva: "I don't think I'll be able to sleep tonight..."

Adam: "Oh, we will see" I smirk

???: "Thankfully, coffee exists" I get my arms from Eva and turn around to see Jordan coming up with three coffee cups in his hands. He offers me one and I take it

Adam: "Thanks Wilde"

Jordan: "Listen, Adam, about your head..." he gives Eva her coffee

Eva: "Thank you"

Adam: "We're good. Nothing more than a small cut. But please, next time you enter our room, knock or ask for permission"

Jordan: "Why?"

Adam: "Well, me and Molly are together and we don't want someone coming on us when we do couple things. You never had a girlfriend Jordan?"

Jordan: "I-I? I got plenty of girls! I-"

Eva: "Why're you lying Jordan" she takes a sip of her coffee

Jordan: "Huh? How can you know?" he huffs and turns around

Eva: "Woman's intuition"

Adam: "You will find one for yourself, Jordan. Sooner or later"

Jordan: "Can we drop this? I'm feeling uncomfortable talking about those things" Me and Eva nod in agreement "So, Don Wei is still hiding in his room?" Eva nods

Adam: "Things... aren't exactly what we expected, huh?"

Eva: "You can say that again..."

Jordan: "Come on guys! Cheer up! I'm sure in the next race we will score some points"

Adam: "Jordan *sigh* Listen, I know you want us to stay positive, but things aren't exactly sunshines and rainbows for us" We stayed silent until sunset. When we ended our coffee, we put our cups down "You will go back to the military after this is done, right Jordan?"

Jordan: "Yup. What about you two?"

Adam: "Before the race I got a job as a mechanic at Don's company. And after everything we've been through on Alwas, I got a promotion two days ago"

Jordan: "So what?"

Adam: "I'm a star-racer pilot for Wei Racing now... I don't know if to be happy or not, but I'm trying to search for any light in the tunnel"

Jordan: "*chuckle* Lucky you. I will be sure to cheer on you in your races, Adam" he looks at Eva "And what about you, Molly?"

Eva: "I... I don't know

Jordan: "With that amazing flying today, I thought that you also want to become a star-racer pilot Molly. Where did you get that trick?"

Eva: "I have no idea...It was just instinct, I guess"

Jordan: "Man, you two are something, aren't ya? I'm proud to be your partner"

Adam: "We're not partners, Jordan. We're friends. After everything we've been through together, that's the only way"

Jordan: "I hope when we get back on Earth we won't lose contact"

Eva: "Yeah, and after you got yourself a girlfriend, we can go out"

Adam: "Heh, that's funny. I just couldn't imagine Jordan getting a girlfriend" Eva giggles

Jordan: "Hey! You're not helping my self esteem!"

Adam: "Sorry, I couldn't resist" Then we hear those alien singing again

Eva: "Be quiet you two. They are singing again"

Adam: "And before you say, Jordan. It's not their bell for dinner. It's some type of cheer after the new planet is born from Oban. At least I think so" I get next to Eva near the edge and look down "Although there are no trumors down there"

Eva: "Woah... Guys, look down! There is some type of procession down there!" she points downwards and we see a line of yellow glowing dots

Adam: "Oh my... it's nice"

Jordan: "*sigh* If you two are thinking of checking it out with Wheezing Arrow. I really don't think it's an option right now" Eva's face turns down from excitement

Adam: "Well, I know one man who can take us there" I jump down

Eva and Jordan: "ADAM!!!" I land on top of G'dar as Aikka gets us to their level

Adam: "Thanks for the catch, Aikka"

Aikka: "You must've scarred your Queen with this act, Adam"

Adam: "She will live, don't worry" We turn to Jordan and Eva

Aikka: "I hope you're gonna join me and your King, Earth Queen. It's a musical recital, and I never missed one"

Adam: "Come on, Star! There is enough space for all of us" I get my hand forward. Eva grabs it and I help her up on G'dar "Hold tight, riding on G'dar is sometimes bumpy"

Aikka: "Only if he's too happy" he smiles at us

Jordan: "Adam, Molly, we can't do this! Don Wei will kill us!" Me and Eva look at each other and smirk

Eva: "Couldn't be much worse"

Adam: "And what will he do? Fire us?"

Jordan: "I'm warning you two, I'm staying here" Aikka smirks at him

Aikka: "No need to worry, Jordan. They're in good hands"

Adam: "Let's not keep them waiting, Aikka! See you later, Jordan!"

Aikka: "As you wish, Earth King" however, Jordan jumps on G'dar and puts his arms around me and Aikka

Jordan: "Sorry, Aikka, but I wouldn't trust you with them in a million years"

Aikka: "Hmm" Eva looks confused between those two

Adam: "Okay, is this some competition as to who's a better friend or what?"

I however get no answer as Aikka gets us closer to the ground level. G'dar lands in some bushes and I jump down from him. Me and Aikka helped Eva down while Jordan just jumped down. When all of us get to the ground level, Aikka mentions to us to be quiet and to follow him. We follow his lead until we get behind the leaf near a road. We look over it to see those Aliens walking towards somewhere. Their manes and eyes glowing gold

Adam: "Wow... Now I need to see if my theory is true..."

Aikka: "Still willing to go on?" he asks Jordan

Jordan: "Well, of course we are. We've met these creatures before y'know. But" he turns around "If it's too much for you to handle, you can wait here" Aikka growls

Adam: "He first thought that their singing was to eat someone" Eva giggles and Aikka smiles "Come on, or he will hurt himself" We catch up with Jordan, still following those creatures. We stop upon an intersection.

Jordan: "Come on this way. I think it's a shortcut" He runs to the left and we follow him. We stop seeing something resembling arena full of those aliens

Us four: "Gah!" We turn around, seeing more of them. We turn around again, seeing three of them approaching us. Aikka gets his hand on his blade. Eva gets scared and I get my hand in my pocket, where my tactical knife is hidden. Before we could attack, Aikka grabs me and Eva by the shirt and tug it, getting our attention. We follow him behind some rocks.

Aikka: "Oh brilliant shortcut, Jordan. We should just announce ourselves"

Jordan: "Aa-" the aliens start singing, getting our attention. Then some tentacles emerge from the rock next to me and Eva. It gets up on them and starts walking towards the center of the Arena. The stone under us also started walking there

Aikka: "Molly! Adam! The stone!"

Adam: "Heh, I never would have thought I will pilot a stone. There always must be this first time"

Eva: "It's kinda bizarre but kinda fun"

Adam: "So, we're riding this until either Aikka or Jordan get here to 'save' us?"

Eva: "I don't know what's their problem. We can be friends with both of them"

Adam: "Or maybe..." I look at Eva

Eva: "What?"

Adam: "Jordan and Aikka are head over heels for you. Should I be worried?"

Eva: "What?! Don't be ridiculous Adam. Jordan knows we're together and Aikka calls us 'King and Queen'" she looks behind "And here are our 'knights'. On three. One, two, three" we jump off the rock, just when Jordan and Aikka get near us

Adam and Eva: "Shhh"

Adam: "Do you want us to be spotted? Come on guys"

Eva: "Get down and don't fool around" we hide behind another rock "Oh, look. The stones are all converging in the center" The stones start forming some structure. After a while it started looking like a new temple "They're building a new temple" Soon the new temple stands still and stops glowing. Same as those aliens mane and eyes. They all bow their heads

Adam: "Incredible..." Aikka looks around

Aikka: "I think we should leave"

Jordan: "Agreed"

Adam: "There's nothing more to see here. Let's go back" We look at Eva and she just nods. We stand up and go for leave. On our way we get kinda too close to one alien. He turned our head to us and Eva stops

Eva: "Huh? Uh? Hm" I drag her arm

Adam: "You will talk with your new friend later, Star. Come on, we need to get back" I turn to the alien "Thanks" We leave the arena

*Timeskip*

Aikka gets us back to our module. Me and Jordan jump down on the platform and later help Eva down

Eva: "Thanks for the lift!" we start waving at Aikka

Adam: "See you tomorrow, Aikka!" Aikka waves back and flies G'dar to his module

Jordan: "Yeah! See you at the next race buddy! Flying behind us..."

Adam: "Good one, Jordan" we walk back down. Eva stops at the last step, looking in the direction of Don's room. She sighs "Oh man, he didn't take our today's loss lightly *sigh*"

Jordan: "Don't sweat it you two. I'm sure his spirits will be back in time for the next race, kay?"

Eva: "I don't care how he feels about us. We have to do much better. We don't have a choice" We walk to our rooms "Goodnight, Jordan"

Adam: "See you tomorrow, Jordan"

Jordan: "Night, you two" he enters his room and we enter ours. I get ready for bed while Eva changes behind her curtain. I then crash on the bed and she joins me. We cuddle to each other

Adam: "Why do we even have this hammock if you want to sleep with me?"

Eva: "I dunno. Goodnight Adam. Love you"

Adam: "Night Eva. Love you too"
