After my transfiguration class was over, I realized that next week will be Christmas. The thought of it made me upset. She was going to miss it, her favorite holiday. She said her family was expecting her to be home for Christmas. I felt someone put their hand on my shoulder. I looked over and saw Professor McGonagall, "Harry, I understand you must be upset about... your sister. You can always talk to me or any other professor, don't suppress your feelings." I thanked her and walked away. As I walked into the dining hall I saw multiple people who looked like they've been crying: Draco, Hermione, Ginny, Professor Snape, Luna, and so many others, all the people she was close with. I sat next to Ron and Hermione and Ron looked liked he wanted to say something but Hermione shot him a look. I ate my food quickly and left so I could get some fresh air. I sat outside looking around when someone sat next to me.

"Harry, I'm sorry about your sister," Fred told me. "She's such a wonderful person, why does she have to go through this?" I nodded in agreement. He told me some stories they had. Something about exploding toilets, chasing Ms. Norris, and so many other things. It made me a bit happier, but nothing could fill the darkness that was buried within me, only Ellie. I said bye to Fred once my classes began again. When I got back to class Ron had a concerned look on his face.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"Ginny, no one has seen her all day." He answered me.

"Don't worry, Ron. Let's go look for her after our classes are done." I consoled him. After classes ended for the day, Ron and I searched the castle. I walked by the infirmary and called out to Ron, "Ron, get here." He rushed over and we walked in. Ginny was sitting next to Ellie holding a book and reading it to her. She jumped up, but when she realized it was us she sat back down.

"I know she can't hear me but-" She started to say.

"Ginny, you don't need to explain to us. You can continue. Ron and I were looking for you because you didn't show up to your classes." I told her.

She stood up with a look of shock and confusion on her face, "I missed my classes?! Wow... time does fly by." She cried out.
