Chapter 4

Eliana's POV

I sat next to Ginny and noticed a girl with bushy hair, who I remembered was with Harry and Ginny at Diagon Alley. "Hi, I'm Hermione Granger I'm in Gryffindor. What's your name?" She asked.

"Eliana, nice to meet you, Hermione." I looked at Ginny and back at Hermione who both had a concerned look on their faces. "Wh- what's wrong? Why do you both look like that; it's freaking me out."

Hermione sighed and said, "It's just my friend Harry and Ron, Ginny's brother, usually sit with me; but they're both not here."

I responded, "Harry as in Harry Potter? Oh, well I swear he was right behind us when we went into the barrier onto the platform. Maybe they sat with George and Fred or someone el-" I stopped mid-word because I noticed a weird-looking bird. WAIT... THATS A FREAKING FLYING CAR. The two followed my shocked gaze and stared at it in shock too. "Wait a minute.." I said. "Are those two boys? OH MY GOD, THAT'S HARRY AND RON!" Ginny then fell forward in shock but caught herself. I dashed out the door trying not the let the car out of my sight but I ran into something hard.

"Watch it... Oh sorry." I looked up and saw that it was Draco.

"Move it," I said and pushed past him, but the car disappeared. I groaned and turned and was about to walk back to Ginny and Hermione when Draco caught my hand. "What?" I asked.

"I- I was just wondering; what's your name?" I pulled my hand out of his weak grip.

"You'll find out once we get to school," I smirked and walked away.

Just as I walked into the compartment, they both asked, " What happened? Why'd you run out?"

I said, "I tried to see where the car was going, it seemed like it was following the train and then I ran into Draco."

The train started slowing down and it was dark outside now. I gather all of my items and prepare to leave the train. "I wonder what house we'll be in." Ginny nodded and walked out with me as the conductor said we had arrived.

We walked out of the exit and heard a rather large man yell, "First years follow me!" We followed him and boarded the boat, to cross a lake. We were led into this gigantic, gorgeous school and stood inside a hall.

"You'll be sorted into your houses shortly." A woman with a tight bun said. "Make yourselves look presentable."

I started fixing my hair and Ginny commented, "You are so pretty." I blushed and said thank you. As the doors opened I saw 4 long tables and a stool at the front with a hat on it.

The same woman with a tight bun started reading names off a list. I waited anxiously until, "Potter, Eliana." Loud whispers rumbled through the hall. "Another Potter? You don't think she's related to Harry do you?" People whispered around the room. I nervously stepped forward and sat on the stool. The woman then placed the hat on my head.

"Ah another Potter, let's see where you shall belong. Very smart and loves reading, yet is incredibly loyal and respectful, but also cunning, sly, and mischievous, but most of all brave, daring, helpful; which makes you... GRYFFINDOR!!" The hat yelled. Loud clapping echoed around the room, filling it with cheering. I pulled off the hat and happily skipped to an open seat next to Hermione but also leaving space for Ginny.

"You don't have a brother right?" Asked Hermione.

"I have a little brother named Skyler." Just then Ginny who just got sorted into Gryffindor nudged my arm. "OHHHHH," I paused, I didn't know if I could trust her, but took the risk. "I'm adopted, but I actually do have a brother. You already know him, please don't tell anyone." I told Hermione who looked like she just saw something die.

"I'm pretty sure the whole Great Hall knows by now, even if you don't look like Harry," Ginny muttered into my ear.

"Well, Harry and Ron don't. They're not even here." But as I looked over her shoulder I was flabbergasted. There's no way. The weird long hair, always dressed in black. More memories flowed into my head, memories of my last foster dad. It's him. He must've noticed me too because he stopped in his tracks and stared at me awestruck.

"What's wrong?" Ginny asked, startling me.

"Nothing." I quickly responded.

As we walked up the stairs following Percy, we came across a painting of a fairly fat lady. "Password?" She asked.

"Wattlebird," Percy answered her, which she swung open revealing a cozy common room. As we toured the dormitory and found our sleeping quarters, we heard cheering below. I pulled Ginny by the arm and dragged her downstairs.

There, I saw Harry and Ron being praised for the car stunt. "Boys" I muttered to Ginny.
