I just realized, the song that is sung in "Friendenemies", could directly be connected to Star and Tom's previous relationship. I mean, is it such a coincidence that the first song that Tom can think of by a band that mostly, considering pop songs are mostly about love, is talking about how someone made a mistake and wants them back? It's obviously Tom that was in the fault of the break up, since she's the one who's doing the rejecting, and Tom's the one saying the classic "I've changed" bit. If that's the case, Tom singing the song wasn't just to remind Marco about that one brief time they had so they could be friends agains, it was to prove, even if only to himself, that he still has feelings. As silly as it sounds, that was probably his and Star's "break up song" to him. Don't want to go too far and encourage Stom, that still wasn't a good relationship, they have too many differences that they can't agree on nicely, but Tom still has his own emotions, and I feel bad for him.

Even though I say Jackie Lynn Thomas is "actually a nice person" and that I'm mad because of it, I would like to say that just because two people aren't in a romantic relationship, doesn't mean that they can't be close. Sure, Starco might end up being one of those instances, and I won't like it, but it is how life usually works.

I for one would like to see Tom and Star as friends, without the pressure of a date or returning a boyfriend- I mean best friend after a largely played down kidnapping.

Just so I won't see navy sized ship battles in the comments, I like to say that I encourage calm debates with facts to support claims. I do not encourage foul mouthed displays, the calling of any group or individual idiotic (synonyms and
other derogatoriness included) , and/or the lowly grammar police. Having no intelligent counter argument means you're wrong, or it's a matter of opinion/belief. It does not signal a default to destructive speech.

Sorry, I'm a little peeved by a comment section altercation I was inadvertently caught up in.
