I trudge to school. It's 7:30 and last night it was pouring down rain. Now everything outside is drenched in wet, especially the sidewalk. My shoes are sloshing with water inside them.

As I finally enter the prison for teens, Rio dashes toward me. "Thanks so much for the money for the hotel last night! It was great!"

I just nod. "I slept terribly last night..." My little brother kept me up all night as well as my dog and... Ugh..."

"Well that's upsetting. Don't worry, you can sleep during math." Rio smiles. "Look, here comes Reggie!"

The purple-haired teen dives up to us in his fancy motorcycle.

"Don't taunt me... I'll be in my locker, sleeping." I groan and stomp off to my locker inside.

"What's her deal?" I ask and climb out of my motorcycle.

"Not enough sleep." Is Rio's terse reply as we run into the looming building in front of us.

"And 3x (-2 + x)..." The math teacher says.

I glance over at Rikka. Her arms are folded, with her head resting on them. The big hat she's wearing hides her eyes.

Rio, on the other hand, has her textbook propped up on the desk and her notebook in her lap, yet she's playing on her phone with earbuds in.

I just sigh and take out my phone as well, texting Rio.

What are you doing?

I was bored. So... Now I'm playing Flappy Bird.

I'm just bored as well. This math is stupid.
