Chapter 1
At 21, Jenny Hills has just ended her 3rd year at Manchester School of Art and is out for the summer. She had decided to visit London for the few months she has off. Having grown up in Manchester, she had never really been anywhere else and was excited to see the things she's only heard about in London. With the remaining hours of the day left, she began packing. Whilst doing so, Jenny's roommate Kate came in to start packing for her summer vacation.
"What time does your train leave tomorrow?" Jenny asked Kate.
"Ten o'clock. I can't wait to get to Blackpool and see my sister! What about your flight to London"? Kate asked
"Five o'clock tomorrow evening."
"Hope you have a safe flight."
"Same to your train ride." Jenny said
Their conversation went on until it became late enough that both were finished packing for the night and they went to bed.

Early the next morning, Jenny got up and began to get ready for her flight to London that evening. She got everything around and went outside to see the scenes of Manchester for the last time for the few months she'd be away. Before going outside, Jenny grabbed her sketch pad and some pencils and went to the park near her college, and started to draw a couple sitting on a park bench. She hoped that one day, that would be her with someone she loved. About half an hour later, Jenny was finished with her drawing, and a good thing too because the couple started to leave. Since it was before noon, Jenny went to the diner and ordered a turkey sandwich. She ate it slowly for this would be her last meal before her flight. It drew nearer and nearer until it was 4:30 and Jenny had to leave for her flight. She took a cab to the airport and waited for her plane to be called. She looked at the time, and saw that the plane was boarding, so she got up and got on the plane, found her seat, and began to relax for the hour flight.
Before she knew it, the plane had landed. Jenny checked her watch and it 6:15, which gave her enough time to go to her apartment and grab a quick dinner before it was too late. She got a cab to her apartment and began to unpack. It was nice inside, and had a large window in the front so she could see the city. Needed a little tidying, but she decided to do that tomorrow.
Soon after, Jenny went around looking for a place to eat until she found a small diner and ordered a hamburger with chips. After that, she walked around seeing what was near the apartment. Many shops, a few places to eat, and a park. If only Jenny brought her sketch pad she could've drawn something, but decided to do that tomorrow when it was brighter out. When she got back at around 8:15, she unpacked all of her things and began to make herself at home. She then proceed to organize a few things so she didn't have as much to do tomorrow. After that, Jenny put her pyjamas on, unpinned her long, brown hair and began to read a book. She tried hard to concentrate, but all of the exciting things she could do tomorrow like go see what's in every shop, walk in the park, and of course draw the interesting and exciting scenes of London made it difficult to read. She put down her book and looked out the window. It was all too much to wait for. With all the excitement inside of her, Jenny thought she'd never be able to get to bed, but eventually, she finally did.

Early the next morning, Jenny got up and ready for the day. To start the day, she went to the diner she went to last night and ordered a small breakfast so she'd have more time to explore. After that, she set out for the shops. There were so many, she'd thought that she'd never finish going in all of them. Eventually she did, and the she went to Regent's park and went looking for things to draw.
After a little while, she found a tree with flowers growing around it. She sat down on the bench across from the tree and began to draw. After about two hours, Jenny had finished her drawing. It looked quite as nice as the tree in front of her. She got up and walked around the park a little. It was a nice cool day so there were lots of people and animals. She admired the way the sun shone through the leaves on the trees, it made it look nicer. She looked down at her watch, half past noon, and finished her walk around the park to grab a quick lunch. After her lunch, she went back to apartment to rest a little from her exciting day. She took her key, and unlocked the door, and proceeded to the couch where she took an hour-long nap.
Feeling groggy from waking up, Jenny decided to clean up the place a little. She cleaned and organised everything until it was the way she wanted it. After having done that, she read until it was five o'clock, and then proceed to make dinner for herself. From one of the places she went, she bought some fish to make. After she had finished eating that, Jenny looked out the window and saw that the sun was starting to set. She quickly grabbed her sketch pad and began to draw. It became harder, but all in all, the drawing looked good enough. With the sun going down, and the day coming to an end, Jenny got her pyjamas on and went to bed, waiting to see what tomorrow would hold.
