NAYARA FOLLOWED BARRY inside the Arrow cave. Barry took her hand and was helping her down a set of stairs to the center of the base. Oliver was quite shocked to hear that Nayara had accepted the measures he had proposed to keep the base safe. All the young brunette said was 'I understand, don't worry Arrow. I trust you' and closed her eyes.

"Can I take the night mask off her eyes. I don't want her to fall down the stairs." Barry told Oliver. "This is very dangerous. I don't support this." He added.

Oliver sighed, nodding at him. Barry took the night mask off Nayara's eyes. The brunette opened her eyes and smiled widely when she saw the bigger and renewed base. "This is brilliant, Arrow." She said, walking quickly down the stairs.

"Watch out. Don't skip the stairs, you can fall." Barry said to her.

The girl smiled at him and walked further down the stairs with a giant smile. She looked at the new set of arrows that Oliver had set up. She walked up to them and before Oliver could say 'don't touch them' she quickly spoke up. "I am not going to touch the arrows." Nayara said to him.

Oliver looked at Barry. "You honestly have to teach her how she shouldn't trust strangers." Oliver told Barry.

Barry waved him off. "She knows it's you. You will be amazed on how smart she is." Barry replied to him, watching how Nayara walked to the computers. The brunette sat down, looking at them but not touching a thing.

Beep! Beep!

Nayara jumped on her seat and raised her hands. "I didn't touch anything." Nayara said, turning to look at Oliver who was dressed as the Green Arrow.

"Honey, if it does that then it means that's an alarm." A woman said, walking closer to the computers. Nayara turned around and froze when she saw the tall blonde woman who. All color was drain from Nayara's face and Barry actually thought that she was about to faint.

"Canary." Oliver greeted her. The blonde woman, whose superhero name was Black Canary, walked closer to the computers. She sent a wink to Oliver, who in return looked down.

Black Canary was about to call Flash by his first name but stopped, seeing the young brunette sitting on the computers. "Flash, what brings you all the way to Star City?" Black Canary asked him with a small smile.

Barry looked at Nayara thinking she was going to answer but instead she was looking at Black Canary. "Meta-human is planning an attack here in Star City." Barry said to Canary. He put both hands on Nayara's shoulder. 

"This is Nayara the newest addition to Team Flash." Oliver told Black Canary. He turned to look at the girl who was just staring at Black Canary like she might disappear any minute. 

The female walked to her to shake her hand, but the girl reacted differently. "Dinah you are beautiful." She said, looking at her with her big brown eyes. Black Canary was shocked to hear the girl call her by her first name.

Before Black Canary could question her, Barry cut in to help Nayara out who was silently freaking out. "I might have let the name slip. Sorry, my fault....but she knows how to keep a secret." Barry said to Black Canary. Oliver sent a look to Barry before turning to the computers.

"It's an alert. There has been an attack near the City Hall." Oliver said while looking at the computer.

Nayara moved her chair closer to the screen, hesitant to moves her eyes away from Black Canary. Her eyes widen when she saw the white smoke and the raven-haired woman. "That's her, O-Arrow." Nayara said, almost reviling his secret identity as well. I have to get better at not naming the characters by their first name, Nayara thought. 

"I think that's our signal." Dinah said walking towards the exit.

Nayara looked at Oliver who was already leaving. She hesitated a little bit before speaking. "Umm...you might want to you know.... bring gas masks because that's what makes her dangerous. It makes you have nightmares of your biggest fears." Nayara said to the three heroes. Green Arrow stopped and turned to her. "I'm being serious. I am not just going to send you three off to battle without telling you the dangerous. I don't want two of the greatest heroes in history knocked out." Nayara explained.

Black Canary walked to one of the shelves and took two. She put herself one and handled the other to Oliver Queen. "You heard the kid, hun." Dinah said, passing him the mask.

When the three heroes left, Nayara was quick to look at the computers. She sighed, touching the mouse and turning the security footage. "The least that can happen is Green Arrow being mad. He can't be scary." Nayara said to herself and she kept eyes on the woman. She sighed, using the computer to run a facial recognition on the woman. Cisco had previously tried and failed, but what hurt can another try cause? Right?

Nayara leant on the computer watching how Barry quickly arrived to the scene. She dialed Cisco's phone number quickly. "Hey, Cisco. The awesome scientist who creates awesome suits for the Flash....I need you to connect my phone number to Flash." Nayara said to him on the phone.

"Of course." Cisco said to her while connecting the phone to the Flash's suit. "All done." Cisco said.

Nayara gave him a quick thanks before hanging up the call. She dialed Barry's phone number, and let out a small smile when she heard Barry pick up. "Hey, Barry. Remember to put on your mask that I told Cisco to create." Nayara reminded Barry.

"I already have it." Barry said to her.

Nayara put the call on speaker to facilite her work. She looked at the computers, watching how the woman started to create more smoke as she made her way inside the city hall. "I can reach her." Barry said to her.

"Don't. First pull people away from the scene. She isn't going to go anywhere. I have eyes on her." Nayara said to Barry. Barry did what she said while Oliver and Canary arrived. Nayara's smile widen watching her power couple arrive. As she watched the three of them work, a small idea appeared on her mind.

The brunette jumped out of her seat and looked at the woman. "I have an idea. It might sound crazy, but it will work. I think." Nayara said to Barry. "Run around her. I read that...I mean...I have seen you do this technique where you run around so fast that you create this air vortex around her." Nayara explain. "I think it should contain the air for enough time to evacuate the area." Nayara added.

"On it." Barry said before running towards the source. The raven haired woman frowned, seeing that the smoke didn't affect him. Barry started to run around the woman, concentrating the air around her.

Beep! Beep!

Nayara looked at the computer screen seeing the name of Black Canary and Green Arrow. The young brunette answered both calls. "Hello? Arrow cave?" Nayara asked them.

"What is Barry doing?" Oliver asked her.

"Containing the smoke." Nayara answered. She then turned to her phone. "Barry, is the woman being affected by her own smoke?" Nayara asked him.

"No." Barry quickly answered. The smoke was becoming thicker and thicker and it was getting hard to see the woman inside, which was not good. Then suddenly something hit Barry, causing him to loose his balance and fall a couple of meters away from the woman. Barry groaned, holding the side of his chest. "What do you want?" Barry asked her.

"I need somebody to find." The woman said to him. "How interesting, you woke up from the nightmare." The woman pointed out.

Before she could touch Barry, a green arrow was shot her way by Oliver. The woman fell to the floor, holding the back of her leg. "This is my city. So, get lost." Oliver said to her.

The woman smiled, before running to him. She then stopped in front of him, having an idea. "Well then protect it." She said, sending a big cloud of smoke towards some civilians.

"Barry run." Nayara said, and Barry was quick to run to help them out. Nayara tapped her foot against the floor worriedly. She did not who this woman was, nor how to stop her. It had been a while since had encountered a threat she had no previous knowledge of from before. "What is her weak point?" Nayara asked Barry.

Nayara stood up from the chair and paced around, looking at the woman. "I just feel like screaming at her face without regrets." Canary said to Nayara.

Nayara stopped. "Actually, I think there is a better way." Nayara said to them. "Canary, Arrow you guys needs to find a way to knock her out while Barry runs around her. If he runs fast enough maybe he can suck the air around her. It will you guys enough time to knock her out." Nayara explained.

"If you want me to shoot another arrow, you should have just asked." Oliver replied to her, taking out one of his special arrows. The arrow when it explodes, would create a big bright light that would blind the opponent. Oliver aimed before shooting. "Close your eyes." Oliver said to its team mates.

Boom!

The woman fell to the floor, closing her eyes. "Now, Barry." Nayara said. Barry then ran around her as fast as he could, creating this small twister. Nayara watched in amazement as the plan slowly started to work. The woman held her throat, and that was enough for Barry to stop running.

Oliver watched how Black Canary walked to the woman. "Will you do the honors?" Oliver asked her.

Black Canary smirked at him before punching the woman in the face, knocking her out. The blonde female hero dusted off her hands. "Yes!" Nayara exclaimed, raising both of her hands to the air. "This is what I call a team up!" She said with excitement.

Barry chuckled at her while Oliver quietly smiled. "You know, Barry. I think you should put her in the cells you have back at Star Labs now that she is knocked out. It will be easier." Nayara said with a small smile. Nayara sat back down as she watched how Barry quickly left. Nayara then disabled the calls from Oliver and Dinah, the mission was done.

Nayara quietly stood up from her chair and decided to take a nice look around the place. The brunette walked to where the suits where. "They really need some extra suits just in case. Do they have to watch it every single time they fight?" Nayara asked herself. She slowly moved to the weapons section, her eyes landed on the Green Arrow's special arrows. "Exploding arrows, kryptonite arrows....oh....hunting arrows......" She read out loud the labels, with curiosity unware of the presence behind her. "Red arrows?" She questioned, stopping when she saw them with her own two eyes.

"Like the one pointed at you right now." A person said behind her. The young brunette jumped, but decided not to turn around. "Who are you?" The person said.

"It depends on who is asking." Nayara joked. Nayara slowly walked towards the special arrows that Oliver kept. The brunette sighed, looking at the light exploding arrow. The same one that Oliver had just used on the raven haired woman. Nayara took a deep breath before turning around to face whoever she was facing.

She noticed that he was hidden behind some shadows, hiding his identity. However, she could see the red arrow pointed at her. Quietly, she took the light exploding arrow behind her. Then she counted quickly to three before she used it.

Boom!

Nayara closed her eyes and fell to the floor, missing the arrow that was going her way. The brunette took cover behind some shelfs, where she watched the unknow person walk out of the shadows holding his face.

Nayara slowly stood up, and waited for the person to be closer to the edge of the shelf. When he was, she used a technique that Steve had taught once. The brunette took a hold of the bow and kicked the person in the stomach. She kicked the bow away before punching the person on the face. Then she turned around and kicked him on the back.

The person fell to the floor. Nayara then put one feet over his back, stepping on the person. "Who are you?" Nayara yelled, looking down at him. The person didn't answer. So, Nayara resourced to find it out herself. She knelt down and noticed the black hood the guy was wearing. When she took it off she saw red hair. "Hey, I asked who are you very nicely. You supposed to answer that." Nayara said to unknown person. From the corner on her eye she saw the person slowly taking out a knife.

She smirked, this time using a technique that Carol taught her herself. She twisted the person's arm, making the knife fall into the floor. She picked it up, and put it next to his face. She froze when she heard a yell.

Nayara looked up and saw an amused Dinah. Then her eyes turned to Oliver who had taken off his hood, but still had his mask on. Oliver held a face of both amusement and annoyance at the same time. "Nayara, will you please step away from him?" Oliver asked her.

Nayara stepped off from him and stood up. The unknown person stood up, dusting himself from the floor. Dinah laughed lightly, shaking her head. "She is fun." Dinah told Oliver with a small smile. "I wasn't expecting that at all." She quietly added. 

Nayara watched how the person picked up his bow and arrow before turning to Oliver. Nayara did not know what to do in this situation. "Umm...he attacked first." Nayara said, pointing at the young adult.

The person turned around. Nayara was shocked to see a pair of green eyes and somewhat long red hair. Nayara looked at Oliver before slowly walking away from the group, leaving only Oliver and the unknown person.

Oliver walked closer to the young adult with a small smirk. "We got to work on your hand to hand combat." He told him before patting his back. 

The red-haired boy with the green eyes send an annoyed look to Oliver. "She blinded me with one of your arrows first. Not my fault." He replied to Oliver. "Who is she anyway?" He asked him holding his wrist. 

Oliver smiled at him. "She works with Flash." Oliver told him. "Roy, I come on. I think you should present yourself." He told his apprentice.

Nayara sat on the computers, looking down on the floor. Black Canary walked to her, and she was expecting a told off, but instead she got a compliment. "Nice hit. You just defeated Arrow's apprentice." Canary said to her. "You even give him a pretty good punch. I saw his nose bleed." She added. Nayara's face paled a little bit, thinking she might be in trouble for it.

Oliver walked towards the computers where Nayara sat. The brunette stood up quickly looking at the Green Arrow. "I'm sorry, I hit your apprentice. I didn't know it was him. I mean...I didn't even saw his face....not that that was important....but I....I'm sorry." Nayara rambled, looking a little bit disappointed at Oliver.

Oliver just smiled at her, before turning to his own apprentice. "I always taught you to not underestimate women. They are very powerful and dangerous. Don't worry, I learned it the hard way too." Oliver told Roy.

Nayara stood up and walked away from the three to get some ice. Oliver's apprentice, Roy Harper – who also went with the name of Red Arrow – sat on one of the chairs holding his nose. He looked at Dinah who was highly amused at this.

Oliver patted Roy on the back. "You are lucky she didn't have a crossbow with her. You would have ended up like Lex." Oliver mentioned to Roy.

Dinah pointed at where she girl had left. "Wait...she is the one that show, Lex?" Dinah asked Oliver. "The one who saved your life? That kid?" Dinah asked Oliver. The man nodded at her.

There was sudden a gush of win, signaling Barry's arrival. Barry looked at Roy, who was holding his bleeding nose. "What happened to your face?" Barry asked him.

"What happened to KF." Roy asked back, asking for Kid Flash.

Barry shrugged, looking for Nayara. He saw her coming in with a bag full of ice and some Kleenex. She walked to Roy and handled him the ice. "Sorry about that. This isn't how I wanted to meet the Red Arrow." Nayara said to him.

Roy narrowed her eyes at her, but she didn't even flinch. "How do you know, I'm the Red Arrow?" Roy asked her with a defensive voice.

Nayara put the Kleenex on the table. "Because you were using Red arrows, and a red bow. It doesn't that much to figure it out." Nayara replied, taking a seat on a chair. Dinah's smile widen while Oliver held back a chuckle.

Oliver send a look to Roy, signaling him to thank the brunette. "Thank you." Roy mumbled, not looking at the brunette. He was slightly mad that she had punched him right in the face.

Nayara looked at Barry with a small smile. "The cell can hold her off right? Does it hold people with super human strength?" Nayara asked Barry. The hero nodded at her. "Alright. I guess that the work is done, and it's time to go home." Nayara said, standing up from her chair.

"Have you been the aquarium? Or the rest of the city?" Oliver asked Nayara. Nayara shook her head. "Well the visit isn't over then." Oliver said.

Nayara looked at him confused. "Barry said that it was just to help you guys out." Nayara said in thought. Oliver walked up to Barry, and pulled him aside. Nayara watched the two of them curiously.

"What is it?" Barry asked Oliver.

"You said she never been to Star City. I mean she had, but she only got to see the previous base." Oliver told Barry. "I'm not volunteering to babysit her, but if you are willing to stay an extra day maybe I can arrange a tour or even Dinah can take her." Oliver said to Barry. Barry gave him a small smile. "The kid deserves it at least." Oliver added.

"Alright." Barry said to him. Barry then ran to Nayara. "Are you going to ask Black Canary what you told me you wanted to ask her?" Barry whispered to Nayara. Nayara smiled, nodding at him.

The brunette stood up from her chair and looked at Black Canary. "Umm, Dinah...I mean Miss.....Well.....Black Canary will you care to join in a karaoke battle?" Nayara asked her nervously. 

Black Canary smiled at the girl. "You fancy a karaoke battle? I like the idea." Black Canary said to the girl. "You can call me Dinah." She said, standing up. 

Nayara smile's widen. "Mine is Nayara, but I think you already knew that." Nayara said with a little bit more confident. Barry smiled at the scene, watching how for once in a long time Nayara had been genuine happy and excited.

Oliver noticed the sad look on the speedster face. "What is it?" Oliver asked him.

Barry shrugged, watching how Dinah talked quietly with the girl. "Nothing...umm...she has just been a little sad recently. I'm glad she is smiling." Barry answered. Oliver smiled at Barry and nodded.

Dinah pointed at Nayara. "Those were some nice moves. Who taught them to you?" Dinah asked her.

The smile on Nayara's face died down a little bit. "A friend. He is dead now." Nayara answered. She looked at Barry. "Umm...can we meet up at the karaoke place?" Nayara asked the team. Oliver nodded at her. Barry recognized the look that the girl was giving him. Barry waved goodbye to Oliver and ran to Nayara.

Oliver walked up to the girl before she left. "Hey, Nayara." Oliver called her. The brunette looked at him. "You did good." Oliver told her. Nayara gave him a small smile before her and Barry left, leaving a gush of wind behind them.

Oliver walked to Dinah. "What did you ask her?" Oliver asked the blonde hero.

"Where she learned those moves." Dinah answered sadly, a little concern in the girl's sudden change of emotions. Although, Dinah knew those eyes that the girl wore. The eyes of pure grief, and it concerned her that a girl that young held such eyes.
