27 | LOVE WILL PREVAIL

NAYARA CARRIED OUT the coffee with one hand as she entered the apartament. Barry ran to her and helped her before the coffee fell to the floor. "Have you been working on the design of the thing?" Nayara asked him.

"Yeah, although we need space to built it." Barry told her. "How are we going to built it? With what materials?" Barry asked her.

"Oh, Theodore has them." Nayara said to him. "He called me this morning telling me about the prototype and how it might take longer, but you are here so hopefully it will be shorter." Nayara told him. She followed him to the kitchen, where he had plans all laid around the kitchen. "I'm not going to lie, I'm kind of freaking out at the fact that I'm standing right next to the Flash. Like Flash is living in my apartment is sitting down drinking coffee with me." She quickly added as she took a seat.

Barry chuckled at her. It soon ended when he heard the door ring. Barry ran to the door and opened it. As soon as he did a set of claws were put in front of his throat. The man who it belonged to closed the door.

Barry being Barry ran away from the man and into the kitchen. He looked at Nayara who was oblivious to the concerned face of him. "Barry-" she started to form a question but was cut off by Barry.

"We got to go now." Barry told her, before speeding off to get his suit.

In a blink of an eye he had returned. "But what about my coffee?" Nayara asked him. He did not answer. Instead he took a hold of Nayara.

Before he could speed off somewhere else, the same set of claws. Nayara looked at the man who it belonged to and she swore loudly. Barry quickly moved away from him and pushed Nayara behind him.

"What the hell?" Logan yelled in annoyance.

"Barry-" Nayara started, but was cut off by the speedster.

"Get ready to run." Barry whispered to her.

Nayara sighed. She was glad that Barry took such a quick initiative to safe her life, but it was useless against Logan. The reason being that she knew he would never hurt her.

"Barry!" Nayara exclaimed. Barry turned to face her with a frown. "You don't need to-" She stopped when she saw how Logan had pushed Barry to the wall. He held him by the throat with one hand while he use the other to threatening him with his own metal claws. "Will somebody let me finish! Why do we always have to resource into fights?" Nayara yelled, smacking Logan on his arm. "Let him down. Now!" Nayara yelled louder.

"He-" Logan started, but Nayara was the one to cut him off this time.

"You better let him down now, Logan. I said now!" Nayara yelled louder. Logan flinched, his enhanced hearing becoming a burden in this case.

The said mutant stepped away from the scarlet speedters. For safety percussions, Nayara stepped between Logan and Barry. "Take your claws out. Come on." Nayara told Logan.

"No." Logan told her.

"He is not a threat." Nayara said.

Logan glared at Barry who was catching his breath. "How do you know that? Last time I checked you got HYDRA right in your tail, trying to kill you." Logan argued.

Barry looked confused at Nayara. "You got somebody trying to kill you. I didn't know that." Barry told her.

"He is not a threat, Logan. He saved me." Nayara told him.

"Yeah, I'm a hero. That's what I do." Barry added.

"That is one of the cheesiest lines I have ever heard you say." Nayara told him, holding back a laugh.

"How do you know that?" Logan asked her.

"We are friends." Nayara added.

"Yep, she is actually really funny and cool. Even if we had just met." Barry added. Logan sighed, rolling his eyes. Nayara send a look to Barry. "What?" Barry asked her.

"Emma called me in a panic because you saw in the security cameras a guy just randomly entering the apartment." Logan told her. Nayara's eyes widen. "And she was genuinely concerned about you. You know, she will be here in like an hour. Be prepare for an entire speech." Logan told her.

Nayara sighed, holding the bridge of her nose. "Well, I'm good." Nayara told Logan. "And he is a very responsible person. He told me I couldn't leave the house this morning without having breakfast before." Nayara quickly added.

"I don't think that is really going to help my case, Nayara." Barry whispered to the girl. "Those claws are really cool though." Barry added.

"You want to see them up close?" Logan asked Barry, coming closer. Barry in a panic, took a hold of Nayara and ran off. Logan yelled in annoyance and fury. He thought that Nayara was in danger, again, when in fact she wasn't.

Nayara took a deep breath when Barry and her stopped on a rooftop three blocks away from her home. "Why did you run?" Nayara asked Barry who was standing next to her.

"He was going to attack. I didn't want you to get hurt so I ran." Barry told her.

"Well, that is actually really considered of you. However, he was not going to do anything. He is just concerned, that's all." Nayara told him, shaking her head. "Oh, my Emma is going to kill me when she comes here. Then she is going to go insane on you, because she doesn't know you were the one to safe my life." Nayara said to him in a panic.

Barry remained quiet. "Who was he?" Barry asked her.

"My babysitter, sometimes, just for protection. Now Kara kind of taken that role. Ever since graduation she doesn't allow me to walk around by myself. I mean, she has a point. I almost got shot and run over all in a matter of minutes." Nayara told him as she paced around the roof.

Barry put his hand on his forehead. "You what? Really?" He asked her.

"You know that I'm not from here, right. So...I...I might have revelead to the bad guys that I know their plan. By accident. I...umm...met the girlfriend who killed one of my favorite characters in the comics. I snapped." Nayara said to Barry not looking at him.

"And you complain to me about time-traveling?" Barry asked her, shaking her head.

"Don't go all sarcastic on me, Barry." Nayara told him, pointing at him. Barry raised his hands in sign of peace.

"So you're being hunted down by the bad guys?" Barry asked her.

"Yep." Nayara said to him.

Barry nodded at her, making a face. "Can we go back now? I need to prepare a counter argument so that Emma could let you stay." Nayara told him.

"Actually, I can help you with that." Barry told her. The ground suddenly shook. Nayara turned around, looking for the source of it. She narrowed her eyes, seeing from a distance a big red dot. "I have to go." Barry told her.

"Yeah, that sounds like superhero stuff." Nayara answered him. "But can you get me back to my house, so that I don't have to walk?" Nayara asked him. Barry nodded, taking a hold of her before flashing her to her apartment.

Nayara sighed, fixing her hair as Barry left. "Care to explain?" Logan asked her.

Nayara turned around with a shy smile. "Well, you see...I like being friends with superheroes...so why not put another one on the list?" Nayara asked him. Logan sighed.

Barry then suddenly returned. "I synchronized your computer with the communication's system in my suit. Just so you know." Barry said before running off.

"I'm taking that as a sign of help." Nayara said, running to get her computer. Reached it and proceeded to opened it She smirked when she saw the upgrade that Barry had done. She pressed the green bottom on the screen that said 'call'. She smiled in pure delight. "Hi...Barry?" She asked.

"It actually worked." Barry said as he avoided a punch. "You can even go and check the security cameras. Just go and find the red dot on the map. That's my tracker." Barry told her.

"This is so cool, Barry." Nayara said to him. "I feel like the Oracle." Nayara said, mentioning the comic character that belonged in the world as Barry.

"Who?" Barry asked her.

"The Oracle from your world. I can't reveal her identity to you. I'm sorry." Nayara said to him. Although, I will never be able to be as cool as Babs. Nayara thought. "The Red Hulk?" Nayara said when she saw the live footage of the security cameras.

"You know him?" Barry asked her. "Is he like another friend of yours? Should I let him be?" Barry added.

"Oh, no. Give him a very good punch. He is a bad guy. Like an evil time of man bad guy. His identity is actually quite shocking. He is the famous General Ross who keeps annoying the poor Bruce Banner aka the Hulk. The Green Hulk is the good Hulk and the Red one is the bad one." Nayara told Barry. "Just so you know, he has super strength." Nayara quickly added.

Barry tried to punch him and held back a yelp in pain. "I noticed." He choked out.

"You can try and do that super-sonic punch you do." Nayara said, resting her cheek on her hand as she rested her arm on her knee. "I mean, it has enough momentum and energy that it shouldn't hurt you, but it should hurt him." Nayara explained.

"I feel like I shouldn't be surprised that you know about that trick, but I still am." Barry replied to her.

"How fast do you have to run? I don't know, so I'm hoping you do. Just, not fast enough that you time travel." Nayara said, watching in the screen how Barry seemed like talking to an invisible person when in fact he was talking to her. Nayara laughed at that thought.

Barry chuckled at her. "You are still hugely concerned on that." Barry pointed out.

"Well, you are in a different world which probably has different rules. If you get stuck on the speed force here, if it even exists, I don't know how to get you out. I will go weeping to Kara, saying 'yep, Barry got stuck in a different timeline, earth or even the speedforce'." Nayara explained to him. Then she let out a small scream when she saw the Red Hulk punch Barry so hard he flew across two blocks. "Are you alive?" Nayara asked him.

Barry shook his head, feeling everything around him spin. His ears were hurting, and he had already felt warn liquid on the top of his head. He looked at the Red Hulk who was coming closer to him.

"Barry!" Nayara yelled, covering her eyes and uncovering them again. "Come on, Barry. Barry you got to get up!" She yelled at him.

Barry coughed slightly, shaking his head again. He concentrated on Nayara's voice. "Bartholomew Henry Allen, get up right now! You got to get back to Iris freaking West. If you want to do that, get up! Please, I'm not ready to lose my sanity right now!" She yelled on the microphone.

Logan opened the door, and saw her yelling at the computer. He sighed and closed it again. He was not surprised.

Barry thankfully listened to her and was able to avoid another punch. "You got super speed, so use it!" Nayara said roughly, relaxing a little when she saw he was back on his feet. "Thank god, you are alive! I thought you were absolutely gone for a second. I'm too young to have a heart attack." Nayara quickly added.

"Help me out." Barry told her, blood dripping slightly from his mouth.

Nayara changed the view on the security camera. She squitted and soon regretted it. "Is that blood! Oh my! Are you okay?" Nayara said quickly.

"Super punch?" Barry asked her.

"Actually, you should leave to the Avengers. You are hurt and now I'm worried." Nayara said.

"Super-punch it is." Barry said, running on to get some distance.

"Barry, just....concentrate. Do what you always do, be a hero." Nayara whispered.

"Talking about clichés." Barry replied. He sighed before running at top speed. He pulled his arm back and jumped. He took a deep breath before punching the man on the chest.

Nayara screamed in delight when she saw the Red Hulk fly off down the street. Barry sighed before running, pulling people away so that they wouldn't get hurt.

The Red Hulk stopped, laying on the floor in pain. "Maybe do that again, but on the head. That should knock him out." Nayara said leaning more into the computer.

Barry looked down at Ross. "Why do you have such a grudge against him?" Barry asked her.

"He keeps trying to persecute mutants. Also, he has spend endless times trying to destroy the good hulk, who always tends to safe life. I'm really bitter towards him." Nayara answered. "I just found it ironic that he had actually turned into a Hulk. Maybe I should tell Tony or Steve about this. He might have stolen some blood from Bruce. The poor thing. He deserves better." Nayara said.

Barry shrugged. He was getting ready to take run to give him one last punch, when suddenly a yellow energy force hit him right on the chest. Nayara yelped in panic seeing Barry get hit, again. He flew off a few feet.

"Trust me, kid. That was me being nice." A female voice said from up the sky. Nayara switched the cameras, trying to get a view on what had attacked Barry. Her mouth hanged open when she saw it.

Barry looked up at the woman. "Hi, you aren't friends with him? Are you? Because you know...I have this policy of not hitting girls...and I really hated when I have to fight villains who are girls because I feel bad hitting them." Barry said, waving at her.

Nayara let out a soft laugh. "She is not his friend. She is the Captain Marvel. Don't piss her off or you will fear the power of Carol Danvers." Nayara told him.

"Hi, I'm Flash." Barry said, pointing at himself. Nayara face palmed. "I was just trying to solve this whole problem." Barry told Carol.

"Sorry, but you are under arrest." Carol told her.

Nayara's eyes widen at the news. "What!" She exclaimed.

"Please, don't yell. My ears are already ringing." Barry told her.

"Don't tell me that. Now, I'm more nervous." Nayara added. "Why are you being arrested?" Nayara asked him.

"Should I ask?" Barry asked her. Barry put his hands around his mouth to amplify his voice. "Hey! Why am I getting arrested for?" Barry said.

"Change your voice." Nayara quickly noted.

"I don't know. I have been asked to take you in by Iron Man." Carol told him.

"That little-urg!" Nayara said, holding back a comment. "Love Tony, but he gets on my damn nerves." Nayara whispered. "Barry, I know you are not the one to break the law, but just run away from the scene. Please." Nayara said to him.

"Alright." He said, turning around to face a man dressed in red, white and blue with a shield on his hand.

Nayara face palmed. "Just ignore him and run. Like run." Nayara said, shaking her head. "Just ignore Steve." Nayara added, watching how Barry left the scene quickly.

Nayara sighed, following Barry through the map. In a matter of seconds, he had reached the apartment. Barry came to a halt next to Nayara. The brunette gave him a giant smile. "That was awesome! Like really awesome! Although, it was not awesome that you got that punch." Nayara said her excitement dying down.

Barry took out his mask, and returned the giant smile. "I am not going to lie. It was awesome." Barry told her.

"High five!" Nayara said, and Barry quickly returned it. "Oh my I just helped the Flash! This is best!" She said, doing a small dance on her seat. Barry chuckled at her shaking his head. "Did you punch him really hard?" Nayara asked him.

"Oh, I did. I heard the annoyance in your voice, and from what you told me...he kind of deserve it to say that least." Barry answered. "Is there anything else to do?" Barry asked, her kneeling down next to Nayara to see the screen.

Barry showed Nayara how to find the locator for criminal activity. "Oh, there is a robbery at fifth and seventh? Or you can help save the kitten from a tree in Central Park." Nayara said, looking at the map.

"Or explain to me what is going on. Who are you!" A loud female voice said behind them. Barry quickly put up his mask and stood in front of Nayara. "There is no need to protect her against her own guardian!" Emma said, glaring at Barry.

"Barry, run." Nayara whispered to Barry.

"I heard that!" Emma said, tapping her foot on the floor. Barry opened his mouth but nothing came out. He would be lying to himself if he didn't say that the glare of the woman was not intimidating.

Emma came closer to Barry. She pointed a finger to him. "Who are you and what are you doing in my house?" Emma asked him.

"I'm...umm...I..." Barry stuttered, sending a pleading look to Nayara. He could have said, hey Nayara let me stay, but he didn't want to rat Nayara out.

"I told him he could stay." Nayara told Emma.

"He is a man!" Emma yelled, pointing at Barry.

"I'm actually in my mid-twenties and I'm normally told that I'm a kid." Barry told Emma. The blonde glared at him even harder.

"I got a call from Steve! Steve! Telling me that you were inviting a stranger to my house. See, it would have been a different circumstance if you weren't just being thrown out a building!" Emma exclaimed, raising her hands in desperation. "Yeah, you were saved by a red streak but-" Emma said but was cut off by Barry.

"I'm the red streak. I'm Barry, but my hero name is Flash...and I'm not from here. Nayara was helping me out because she knew I'm not from this universe. I was...running too fast and passed a bridge between my world and yours. Then I saw her falling and I helped her out. It's not Nayara's fault. Don't get mad at her, but at me." Barry told her, stepping in to defend Nayara.

"Oh, I'm mad at you! And she has no reason to trust you!" Emma snapped back.

Barry sighed, running off. Emma's eyes widen. In seconds Barry had returned with two giant baguettes and two croissants. "Are those from France?" Nayara asked Barry. Barry nodded and Nayara gladly accepted.

"Nayara!" Emma exclaimed.

Nayara took a bite and smiled widely at Barry. "Thank you. I love your super power." Nayara answered with her mouth full. Her words were slight twisted due to the food in her mouth. Barry chuckled at her, finding adorable how she resemblened a little kid.

Barry looked at Emma. "This one is for you." Barry told Emma.

"I trust him with my life. He is cool and likes to eat. Can we keep him?" Nayara asked her before taking another bite of food. "He saved my life and I'm trying to bring him back to his world just like Kara." Nayara said to her.

"Kara knows him?" Emma asked her. "Because I trust Kara, I don't trust him." Emma said, pointing at Barry.

"He is a hero in the comics. He alright. God, imagine if you met Batman. You would have gone completely insane." Nayara told Emma. Barry motioned her to cut the joking attitude but she didn't listen. "How was your trip?" Nayara asked her.

Barry face palmed. "I'm the one to blame, and please don't get made at Nayara because she was very kind to help me, and I have other place to stay. I really didn't want to disturb the peace." Barry told Emma. "I will let you guys a moment." Barry said, flashing out of sight.

Emma looked at Nayara. "Nayara you don't even think! I can't believe I can't let you out of my sight." Emma exclaimed. "I'm losing my mind! Nayara I'm are loosing my entire mind. I wished you would listen more. I care for you. I care for you not as a sister but as you were my own kid and I'm so scare that you will die or something else will happen to you because you aren't careful. You weren't careful." Emma said, looking at her in the eyes. Nayara looked down at the floor. "You got yourself into all this trouble because you weren't careful, now you are digging yourself into more trouble because you keep hosting strangers who god knows if they will stay loyal to you. Maybe the comics gave the wrong perception of them. Maybe she are not who you though they were." Emma told the girl.

Nayara's eyes died down. "You have to think more careful now more than ever, Nayara. It depends on you, and you alone. The normality for you and I depend on you, and what you do of it. Nayara." Emma told her through a strong voice.

Nayara sighed, nodding as she understood what Emma said. Emma shook her head and left the room. Nayara bit her lip as she stared at the empty wall, processing the words. She let down the croissant and walked up the bathroom. She closed the door before cleaning her hands. She sniffed lightly, as she felt tears spring to her eyes.

It wasn't because she was mad at Emma, or sad. It was because what Emma said was true. If she did a wrong step people could ruin Emma, and it would be her fault. Nayara sighed, shaking her head letting her tears down. She remained quiet when she heard shuffling in her room.

Then someone knocked. "Hey, I'm sorry I caused the fight." Nayara heard Barry from the other side.

"It wasn't your fault." Nayara said, holding back her strained voice. Although Barry noticed it. "She is right about the normal life." Nayara said, shaking her head.

Barry sighed deciding to letting her alone for a few minutes.

. . .

Kara landed on Nayara's window, unware they were eyes watching her. "Nayara! I bought donuts. A woman was kind enough to give me some for free. I saved her daughter today." Kara said, expecting a reply. However, nobody answered. "Nayara?" Kara asked, closing the window behind her. She flew down the stairs to the living room. She walked to the kitchen and stopped when she saw Barry trying to explain Emma the machine he was trying to build. "Have you guys seen Nayara?" Kara asked her.

"Isn't she in her room?" Barry asked her.

"She isn't. I just came from there. I was going to share my donuts with her." Kara told Barry. Barry sighed and flashed out of sight and returned again.

"She is not in the house." Barry told them.

Emma sighed, taking the bridge of her nose. "I'm calling Steve. I don't know what to do." Emma told them, shaking her head. "She doesn't listen, and she can't go by herself on the streets." Emma whispered to Kara.

Kara set the donuts down and called Nayara. She did not pick up the phone. "I will look for her in the city." Kara told her. "I think I know where she might be." Kara told Emma before walking out of the kitchen.

Barry catched up to her. "I will help you find her. I think I know what is happening to her." Barry said to her.

"I know a spot she loves to go to. You might find her there." Kara told him. Barry nodded at her. Even if Kara wanted to help Nayara, she knew Barry would be quicker.

. . .

Nayara sat quietly in a park bench. She held her jacket tighter as she looked ahead. In her knees there was a Batman comic. She dried the tears with her thumps.

She felt someone seat next to her, causing her to look up. She frowned when she saw it was Barry. "What are you doing here?" Nayara whispered.

Barry gave her an apologetic smile. "I know it was my fault the fight happened. I can to not only apologize but also just to keep you company." Barry told her. Nayara smiled at him. "She loves you. She loves you so much that she is afraid of losing you. Sometimes when we are scare to lose someone we care for and we sometimes say things we don't mean to. It's just we are mad at the world for putting them in danger." Barry explained to her.

Nayara looked ahead. "Do you speak from personal experience? Because you got that distant look in your eyes." Nayara said to him.

"I do." Barry answered before smiling back.

Nayara hesitated for a little bit before continuing the conversation. "I just...I just feel like it is my fault. It is my fault that Emma is always stressed, and...I don't deserve her." Nayara confessed to Barry, tears starting to form again.

"Guilt does this thing that it makes you blind for a moment. It makes you blind about what is happening around you, what your accomplishments have been. It makes you forget it and it feeds in your thoughts. We all have moments in our lives in which guilt is the highest. In which we feel like it falling apart. On those moments we have to stay strong. Just think of them as bumps in the road." Barry told her. "Once you learn how to view things different, and use that guilt for the better, or even forget it...which is kind of the best part...you can pass over that bump. Then you use it as a learning experience." Barry explained to her.

Nayara dried her tears and let out a soft laugh. "That was very poetic of you, Barry." Nayara said.

"We all make mistakes Nayara, but we must learn from them. You can't change the past, but you can shape the future or at least try to." Barry reminded her.

"Unless it's you." Nayara joked, elbowing softly at Barry.

"Yeah, unless it's me." Barry told her. "Funnily enough, I have traveled worlds more than I have travelled in time." Barry noted.

"Can you run into the future? Or just the past? Because the speedster in my world can only run three days forward max." Nayara told him. She sniffed. "Do you miss Iris?" Nayara asked him.

"Every single day." Barry told her. "But I know that now I got you to help me get back to her." Barry added, pointing at Nayara.

Nayara smiled before hugging him. "Thank you, Barry. You are the best." Nayara whispered. Barry hugged her back.

"Batman, huh?" Barry asked her, nodding at the comic. "You got to admit, I'm cooler than Batman." Barry told her.

Nayara pulled away from the hug and shook her head. "Your powers might, but nobody could remove Batman's place in my heart." Nayara pointed out. "Not even you, Barry." She added.

"I'm incredibly offended." Barry joked, holding his hand on top of his heart. Nayara laughed at him. "What would you do if you ever met him?" Barry asked her.

"I don't know." Nayara answered.

"Are you going to and call him by his first name like you did with me?" Barry asked her, amused at the face that Nayara made. "Or will you release how scary he might look sometimes?" Barry added.

Nayara scoffed. "Oh please, Bruce being scary?" Nayara said. Then she covered her hands with her mouth realizing she had just given Batman's secret identity. Her reaction made Barry burst of laughter. Mainly because she looked so embarrassed.

"Please tell me you know about his secret identity. Please, please tell me you do." Nayara said, but Barry didn't answer. Barry shook his head as he continued to laugh none stop.

They were unaware that there were being watched. The same pair of eyes that had seen Kara enter the apartment. The brown eyes hardened at the sight of the two friends.

Nayara smiled widely at Barry. She picked up the comic and put it back on her backpack. Just as she was about to stand up, she felt arms around her and suddenly she was ten meters away from where she once was.

Her mouth hanged open when she saw that the bench the two of them were sitting in had been destroyed by a giant boat. Barry was about to help, but Nayara stopped him by taking a hold of his arm. "Don't. You are under the Avengers' radar. You have to lay low for a while. Plus, there are too many people looking." Nayara warned him.

Behind the boat came out a man with a red helmet. "We defiantly have to go." Nayara whispered to Barry. Nayara pulled him away, trying to avoid the eyes of people watching how Magneto caused chaos. "That man is giving mutants bad reputation." Nayara whispered to Barry as they walked away from the scene.

. . .

Barry opened the door to Nayara's home, letting the girl enter first. She held tightly the straps of her backpack while she entered. Emma stood up from the couch and relaxed when she saw Nayara.

Nayara smiled at her and hugged her. "Have you been crying?" Emma asked her, brushing the hair off her face.

"I'm sorry, Emma. I love you." Nayara whispered before going back to the hug. Emma sighed, hugging her back.

. . .

Emma walked to Barry as he stood up in the balcony. "Thank you for bringing her home." Emma told Barry.

Barry shrugged, giving the woman a smile. "She adores you. Plus, this is her home and you are her family. She would have come back eventually." Barry told her. "And I have been somewhat in the same place as Nayara. We all sometimes get mad at ourselves and our mistakes, and at our guilt. It is how we work around them that counts." Barry told her. "I once got yelled at by my father figure. Not my father, he wasn't around. Not his fault...umm...he was framed and put in jail. It was right after he found out I was the Flash. The man running around the city trying to save lives with his super speed. We eventually patched things up. He was just worried for me, just like you were for Nayara." Barry explained to Emma.

"Well, again, thank you for talking to her. I...umm got to go to a meeting which I can't reschudle, but can I ask you something?" Emma asked him.

Barry nodded at in response. "Could you look after Nayara while I'm gone. She is a good kid, and I would pay you." Emma said.

Barry shook his head. "Don't pay me, please. Plus, I need her help to get back to my world, so I don't see the problem on it." Barry told her. Emma sighed, thanking him again before leaving.

The woman walked back inside, taking her bags with her as she walked to the door. Barry saw how Nayara hugged the woman goodbye before the blonde woman left.

Barry turned around for a minute. When he did, a web was shot to his hands and then to his legs. He lost balance and fell to the floor. Barry groaned and looked up to the boy with red and blue suit. "Is that a Spider?" Barry asked him when he saw emblem in his chest.

He opened the door of the balcony. Barry who panicked because he did not know if he was a threat or not to Nayara used his speed to break a hold of the webs and push the masked boy against the walls inside the house.

Nayara was shocked when she saw Barry holding somebody. "Who is breaking this peaceful evening?" Nayara asked him. Then she realized who he was holding and ran to them. "B-Flash, put him down." Nayara whispered to him, putting a hand on his arm.

Barry let go of him and pushed Nayara behind him. "He attacked me. Do you know him?" Barry asked her.

"Yeah, that's Spiderman. He is one of the good guys." Nayara answered.

Peter frowned at Barry and shot a web to his face. Barry groaned in annoyance and then he punched him. Nayara had to step in between them to stop the fight. "Hey! P-Spiderman! Let him be. He hasn't done anything." Nayara told him, pushing Peter a couple of meters away.

"Yuck." Barry said but it was muffled.

"Why do you have a vigilante in your home?" Peter asked her. "He is the red streak. The one that Tony is looking for. The one who is supposed to be arrested." Peter told Nayara.

"Alright, so you guys don't arrest Quicksilver, but you want to arrest the innocent Barry over here." Nayara exclaimed, rolling her eyes.

"He doesn't have an identity. He is a spy!" Peter exclaimed, pointing at him. "You are hosting a spy right here in your home." Peter added.

Nayara was about to reply when she saw Kara fly down the stairs. She sighed, watching how the Spiderman's eyes of the mask widen. "I hate two cakes already, so I saved you and Barry one each." Supegirl said, still chewing on a piece of cake. "I saved a cat from a tree today, and don't tease me about it because I know you will. I also met that bug boy. I had to threaten him with my laser eyes because I wouldn't stop shooting webs at me." Kara added, and stopped when she saw the said boy in front of Nayara.

"Her!" Peter exclaimed, pointing at Kara. "I got to tell Mr. Stark." He quickly said.

"No, you don't, because if you do I go down with them as well." Nayara told Peter. "And they haven't done anything else than help people. Barry defeated the Red Hulk who may I remind you that is General Ross. He complains about the Green Hulk and now he turns into one because he stole the formula for it! And Supergirl saved my life! She took bullets for me. She has been supporting non-stop and I'm not going to lose her, nor him." Nayara said, pointing at the two said heroes. "Supergirl, please use your laser eyes to remove the web from Barry's face. Please be careful." Nayara told Kara.

The blonde nodded at her before using her powers. Barry sighed, when he removed the webs off his face. He stood up, standing behind Nayara. "I forced her to help me out." Barry told Peter.

Nayara frowned, turning to face him. "What are you doing?" Nayara asked him.

"I'm not letting your life be destroyed because of me." Barry whispered to her.

"They aren't a threat, P-Spiderman. I wouldn't have let them in my home if they weren't. They are harmless. Supergirl, she just likes to eat...and she loves dogs. Barry here just uses his super speed to help others. He is also nice company when you are kind of hungry because he likes to it too...so, your kind of not feel ashamed of yourself if you eat too much or at a certain speed." Nayara pointed out.

Peter clenched his jaw. "You don't even know them, Nayara! How could you know they aren't a threat?" Peter asked.

"Because they have shown me that they aren't. I am willing to give my life for them! They are nothing but kind and brave people who haven't done nothing wrong. They are heroes, Just like you." Nayara said, trying to explain to him.

"Yeah? Today you escaped your home and had Steve and I worried. Emma called him saying that you left the house and then when we found you through the security cameras you were with him. Was he-" Peter said, and he was about to point the blame at Barry, but Nayara was not going to let it go that far.

"I love you, but don't go blaming it on Barry." Nayara told him. She took deep breaths, trying to calm down. "Barry, Supergirl...could you give us a second?" Nayara asked.

"Are you sure?" Barry asked her, resting a supporting hand on the girl's shoulder.

"That's my girlfriend." Peter mumbled under his breath, but Nayara had heard him.

Nayara nodded at Barry before pointing her finger at Peter. "You are jealous, is this what all this is about?" Nayara asked him. "Because I know you, Peter. You wouldn't have said that with that tone if you weren't feeling jealous." Nayara pointed out. It was true.

"I'm not." Peter told her. "I'm just concerned over your safety because I care for you and I don't want anything to happen to you." Peter added.

"Nothing is going to happen to me because I know them, Peter. I know them like the back of my hand." Nayara said to him. "I just need you to trust me on this, okay? Just...listen. Please, don't call Tony. They are my friends." Nayara whispered to him.

"You are defending them? Nayara! You don't know-" Peter started, but Nayara cut him off.

"I just know, okay!" Nayara mumbled.

"No. It's not okay! You are in danger. You can't rely on people that you don't even know." Peter argued.

"You trusted me." Nayara pointed out.

"But what proof do you have that they are not a danger?" Peter asked her.

She was tired of arguing. Peter was being stubborn and she was as well. It was just a matter of time before she exploded. "Because I read about them, just like I have read about you all my life." Nayara snapped, tired of the questioning. She quickly covered her mouth.

"What?" Peter choked out. "Nayara, what did you just said?" He quickly asked her. In a desperate attempt to calm himself down, he took off his mask. Then it all started to click, how she was the only one who knew his name when they have never met before, how she was the one to know about the Purple Man, about Sharon.

Nayara's face paled. "I-I..." Nayara tried but nothing could come out. She wanted the earth to swallow her there and there. "Peter, just please listen to me. I-I'm not...I'm not from this world." Nayara whispered.

Peter frowned at her. "That's how you knew about Sharon, about me." Peter said to her. Pure shock covered his face. He shook his head and put on his mask. He walked to the balcony and opened the door.

"How was I supposed to tell you?" Nayara asked him, looking at him with tearful eyes. "Peter." Nayara whispered, watching him jump off the balcony and leave.

Nayara froze, watching him go. Tears started to appear into her eyes, of pure fear. Was he really going to go and search for Tony? She knew that he would have not dared, but maybe out of anger?

The young girl, fell to the floor. This was not how she was planning on telling Peter. Not that she was planning on telling him at all. Kara sighed when she heard the room go silent for a moment.

She saw Nayara on the floor, with fearful eyes. Nayara had messed up again, but she did not know what the consequences would be this time. Kara wrapped her arms around Nayara. "It's okay." Kara whispered to her. Nayara hugged her tighter. A huge amount of guilt started to make his way into Barry's mind. He had cause - or so he thought - this problem, and now he needed to fix it.
