We were walking side by side in this famed avenue,

Arms too close for this relationship anew.

Your hands touched mine,

And I knew it was the time.

Slowly, our hands clasped together,

Filling the gaps in between our fingers.

A smile crept both into our faces,

And my eyes was filled with silly images.

As the avenue neared it's end,

I see you withdrawn your hand.

I saw the smiled faded from your face,

And how sadness filled your eyes.

For you can no longer accompany me till the end,

You cannot keep your end of the bargain.
