Was it love or infatuation tame,

A warm feeling but no real name,

Many years ago, a summer day,

When I first felt the enchanting flame.

Soft as a breeze, bright as a sun ray,

It's true indeed, about what they say,

Gossamer glow through your heart does lace,

Light the nights and chasing blues away.

Many summers since I left that place,

Can't even clearly recall his face,

But warmth of that memory's the same,

And it still can set my heart to race.
