Why (Achievement #19 = 3 points)

Why?

Why does the rest of the hive think I have got it lucky?

Is it because I am a drone, what do they think I do, hover about all day?

After all, I do not have a father, only a mother and she is the Queen, sat on the throne.

I know you think it is a chore having to feed and clean me day after day.

But hey, if I were not here to fertilise the new layers, so few of you would be here.

Then when I get tired and weary, you compassionless workers simply gobble me up.

The sad thing is, if you do not eat me, when it gets cold, and pollen is in short supply.

You just open the door and kick me out.

I have no stinger for protection, or a clue how to look after myself.

And you, may not realize it, but I will soon be dead.
