PLEASE, PLEASE,  PLEASE, PLEASE REMEMBER TO INCLUDE THE # NUMBER OF THE CHALLENGE YOU ARE  DOING SO WE AWARD YOU THE CORRECT NUMBER OF POINTS.

ALSO MANY HAVE SEVERAL REQUIREMENTS - YOU MUST COMPLETE ALL THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE CHALLENGE TO RECEIVE POINTS.

ALL SUBMISSIONS MUST BE RECEIVED BETWEEN JUNE 1ST AND AUGUST 31ST 2021

YOU MAY SUBMIT UP TO 3 POEMS PER DAY.

1. Write a poem. (Minimum 12 lines) – 2 points

2. Write a poem without using the letter "e". (Minimum 8 lines)– 7 points

3. Write a poem that can be read forward and backward. (Minimum 4 lines) – 10 points

4. Write a poem using only 3 letter words. (Minimum 6 lines) – 5 points

5. Write a haiku. – 2 points (2 point bonus for haiku chain)

6. Write a BLITZ poem. - 4 points

7. Write a love poem. - 2 points (2 bonus points if you don't use the word Love)

8. Write a poem from the point of view of a sports ball, i.e basketball, baseball, football, golf ball. - 3 points

9. Write a poem about math. - 3 points (3 point bonus for using all numbers from 1-10)

10. Write a poem only using 12 words. - 6 points

11. Write a poem using only 10 letter words, (only words that have 10 letters in them.) (Minimum 4 lines)- 10 points

12. Write a  12-line poem in which each line starts with the same letter. - 4 points  (4 bonus points if each line ends with the same letter)

13. Write a personification poem. - 2 points

14. Write a limerick. - 3 points

15. Write an acrostic poem. - 2 points

16. Write a recipe poem from an actual recipe. Must rhyme. - 7 points ( 3 bonus points if it includes fish)

17. Write a riddle poem. - 5 points (2 bonus points for each wrong answer in comments) Include answer with poem)

18. Write a  collaborative poem with one or more other poets. - 2 points for each  poet that joins (each poet will get the total amount of points, i.e. 2  poets = 4 points for each poet)*Note - you can participate in this challenge more than once.

19. Write a poem about being a bee in a beehive. - 3 points

20. Write a 6-line poem and make all the lines rhyme. - 4 points (Bonus 4 points if each line's beginning word rhymes)

21. Write a cinquain poem. - 4 points

22. Write a kenning poem. - 5 points

23. Write and ABC poem using every letter of the alphabet. - 10 points (Bonus 10 points if you can tell a story in just 26 words)

24. Write a poem, at least 7 lines long,  where every line is a question. - 7 points

25. Write a poem and use the rhyme scheme abab, cdcd.  - 3 points

26. Write a poem about your least favorite household chore. - 2 points

27. Write a definition poem, choose a word and write a poem defining it. - 4 points
