Faria wrung her hands nervously. Dahlia had been keeping her updated on what had been happening at the base for the past week, and so Faria knew that Ratchet was basically fully healed now. She didn't want to see him because she was afraid she would start crying again, and she didn't want to cry in front of him.

So when she exited the school doors, and saw a very familiar ambulance, she almost turned around and went back inside. Unfortunately, Jack had seen her.

"Hey, Faria!" he called from where he stood by Arcee's vehicle form. "Are you coming to base today?"

Faria shook her head. "No. I have work. Do you think you could give me a ride?"

Jack paused glancing towards the ambulance. "Don't you want to ride with Ratchet?"

Faria sighed, and shook her head. "No... I'm... afraid..."

Jack gave her a surprised look. "Afraid?"

Faria sighed. "I'll text you about it later. For now, could you please just give me a ride?"

Faria had seen Ratchet's holoform get out of the ambulance, and she really didn't want to deal with him. Jack sighed. 

"Hop on."

She smiled softly at him and grabbed the helmet he was holding out to her. She put it on, and she got on the motorcycle behind Jack. They drove away just as Ratchet reached them. Faria couldn't help but glance back at him. She saw him watching after them, and quickly looked forward again, trying to keep the tears from flowing. It didn't work. Tears started dripping from her face. She didn't dare let go of Jack to wipe them away. Soon, they reached the Jasper Hospital, and Faria immediately walked inside, wiping away any tears that fell. She was stopped by a couple of her coworkers, but she lied and said that it was just allergies making her eyes water. Of course, somehow that managed to get her to be sent home to recover from her "allergies". Faria sighed in frustration, and started the long walk home. However... that wasn't about to happen, due to a car driving up beside Faria. Fear spread throughout her body, and she watched out of the corner of her eye as the window rolled down. However, what she saw wasn't what she expected.

A tranquilizer gun pointed at her... That wasn't the part that shocked her though. It was the person who was holding it that surprised her. 

"Hello, my dear daughter, Achelois", the person said with a smirk. With that, he shot her in the arm with the tranquilizer, and after a few seconds, everything went black for Faria. She was out cold.

The man grabbed Achelois and dragged her into the back seat before getting into the passenger seat. The man's wife was at the wheel, and as soon as her husband was secure in the passenger seat, she took off. Neither of them noticed the ambulance that was watching them.
