One fine morning, a man in his mid 30's was sleeping on his stomach with his mouth slightly open. His room was quite messy as he finally found the file which he was looking for since past one week. His sleep was disturbed by a call.

He irritatedly picked up the call.

As- kaun hai?

Caller- jai hind Anubhav

As- jai hind sir

He completely woke up after listening to the voice.

Cs- humne bas yeh inform karne keliye phone kiya hai ki tumne jo desk job keliye apply kiya tha woh approve ho gaya hai aur tum jitna jaldi chaho utni jaldi join kar sakte ho

As- yeh swapn hai

Cs- kya?

As- aap parihas kar rhe hai na?

Cs- nahi hum sach keh rhe hai ki tumhe desk job mil gyi hai

As- aapka bohot bohot dhanyavaad sir (happily)

Cs- theek hai toh abhi hum rakhte hai

As- ji sir jai hind

He hurriedly descended down after doing his daily chores.

As- maa...maa

Maa- haa beta kya hua? Aise bhaagte bhaagte aa rha hai jaise koi train chhoot rhi ho

As- maa woh khabar hi aisi hai

Maa- kya khabar hai?

As- hume desk job mil gyi

Maa- sach mei?? (Happily)

As- haa sir ne kaha hai jab chahe join kar sakte hai

Maa- toh der kis baat ki chala jaa aaj hi

As- ji maa

He went to his room and changed into formals. After changing he went to headquarters.

Cs- aao baitho aur apna faisla sunao

As- sir hum kal se duty join karne keliye taiyaar hai

Cs- yeh toh kafi acchi baat hai

Cs- tumhari maa ki tabiyat theek nhi thi na..? Ab woh kaisi hai?

As- ab kaafi behtar hai woh

Cs- kya hua tha waise unhe?

As- bp shoot ho gya tha

Cs- ahem...hmm...toh...

As- toh?

Cs got up from the chair and gestured him to be seated.

Cs- toh...ab tumhe desk job bhi mil gayi hai toh..toh ghar basalo apna..biwi ke sath waqt bitao bacche paida karo unhe bhi apne jaise deshbhakt banao...

As- mahashay aap bohot aage ki nhi soch rhe?

Cs- kya aage ki? 35 ke ho gye ho...koi hai kya tumhare dimag me jiski wajah se shadi nhi kar rhe ho? (Teasing)

As blushed.

Cs- ohho matlab pakka koi hai

As- ji sir

Cs- toh der kis baat ki?

As- woh darasal hum nahi jante woh kaha hai

Cs- kya?

As- ji sir woh humare mahavidyalay me humare sath aur mahavidyalay ki shiksha poorn hone ke baad hum nahi jaante woh kaha chali gyi

He sais in despair.

Cs- tumne use dhoondhne ki koshish nhi ki?

As- kiya sir bohot prayas kiya parantu woh waha se chali gyi thi aur apna number bhi badal diya

Cs- aasha karte hai ki tumhe woh jald hi mil jaye

As- 7 saal se hum bas aasha hi kar rhe hai...aaj tak nhi mili woh

He said with a sad smile.

As- theek hai toh sir phir hum chalte hai

Cs- haa

As- jai hind

Cs- jai hind

He left the cabin.

Night.

In his study.

As's pov- 3 mahine pehle apply kiya tha toh aaj approve ho hi gaya...kal se hum duty bhi join kar lenge...aapki bohot yaad aa rhi hai Haseena...vachan diya tha aapko ki ek din vardi pehen ke aapke samne ayenge...jab hum constable bane the na tab pata hai kitne utsuk the hum aapse milne keliye parantu aap chali gyi thi...aap jaha kahi bhi hai bas ek baat yaad rakhiye..hum aapse bohot pyar karte hai Haseena aur aapko jald hi dhoondh lenge...

At some place.

"Pyaar toh hum bhi aapse utna hi karte hai Anubhav...aur hum yeh bhi jante hai ki aap bhi humse utna hi pyaar karte hai...humne dekha tha aapki aakho me...7 saal pehle.....kyu aapne humse apni dil ki baat nhi kahi Anubhav? kyu? Agar aapne izhar kar diya hota toh humara n ik kah nhi hota (tear drop escapes) aaj hum aapki wife hote kisi aur ki nahi..! Hum toh aaj yeh bhi nhi jante ki aap hai kaha...par hume is baat ka poora yakeen hai ki aap apna wada nibha rhe hai...

"I love you Haseena/Anubhav" they said in unision.

Next day.

He was ready to report to headquarters. He was fixing his cap with a smile.

As- aaj ka din bohot khaas hai...agar aap humare sath hoti toh aur khaas ho jata yeh din

He got lost in his thoughts but they were soon broken by maa.

Maa- taiyaar ho gya na beta?

As- j-ji maa

Maa- yeh le prasad

He ate the prasad and took blessings from maa.

Maa- jita reh aur Bholenath teri har iccha poori kare

As- toh hum nikle phir?

Maa- ek minute

She put the kala teeka behind his ear.

As- maa hum bacche hai kya?

Maa- mere liye hai

As- maa (smiled and hugged her)

Maa- chal jaldi jaa warna pehle din hi late ho jayega

As- ji maa

He left for headquarters.

He reported there and then went to check all the thanas. He was walking on the streets when he saw a car approaching a lady with a very high speed. He pulled the lady back and she landed on his chest. They both were shocked to see each other after years.

AnuSeena- aap? (They asked in unison)

As- Haseena!

Hm- Anubhav!...yeh pakka koi sapna hai yeh sab sach mei nahi ho rha..!

As- hume bhi yahi lagta hai

They looked into each other's eyes.

AnuSeena- yeh sapna nahi hai?!

They hugged each other tightly.

As- kaha thi aap itne saal?

He asked with teary eyes.
