Chapter VII: Your Own Medicine

A/N: I'm back! Well, I've always been here. But I think I've finally thought up of the best way for the plot to go. FWI thid book will he the last one, and I hope it satisfies you all!

-Bill

-Amber's POV-

It's obvious now that Y/N's used the Police as a way to cause stress for me. He knows that I have no intention kill him. If he knows that then we have to find him again quickly. The police is also after him as well, so that should add some stress to him too trying to stay out if the radar. But he knows all he has to do is stay hidden, while I have to try and catch him.

Elle: Hey, Amber. The whole thing's been going absolutely nowhere. Are you sure you're going to catch him?

Amber: He's smart... but not smart enough. I think after that fiasco, he's either going towards Mt. Glenn. Or... the abandoned Industrial District.

Caine: Is it just me or is Vale about 40% abandoned since a shit ton of criminals hide in the warehouses?

Amber: My thoughts exactly Caine, my thoughts exactly...

It was then my brother stepped in.

Asher: I could try and access the security camera mainframes still active in the industrial zones. If we can't find a thing than we might as well assume that the Ace of Spades and his goons are in Mt. Glenn.

Amber: Right get on it then, Elle.

She turned to me from her scroll.

Elle: Yes?

Amber: Try and scout the areas around the industrial complexes keep out of sight and report to me any suspicious activity. I'll try and think of a way to get him out...

2 Weeks Later: -Ace's POV-

The industrial facilities aren't a permanent settlement, but we still have to accumulate more explosives to replace the ones lost at Junior's Bar, so far the media's been all over the event. As I predicted, the police claim that they're doing everything that they can to apprehend me. Though with the current weakened state of the police... and their predictable actions, it's obvious that they aren't busting down the door anytime soon.

Henchman: Sir, the scroll you requested.

He handed it to me, I thanked him and opened it quickly placing in Lilith's and Aurora's contacts just in case I needed them as backups.

The whole thing sadly isn't working in favour of me either. With my resources mostly gone and nothing close to an actual battle plan-

That was when I heard the sound of Grimm growling, and screaming.

Gasping in surprise I quickly leapt up out of my seat and ran towards one of the bigger rooms in the building. A huge portal had opened up in the facility, Beowolves were pouring out of the anomaly as my recently acquired Henchmen tried to hold them off.

Me: WHAT THE HECK IS HAPPENING HERE!

I yell.

Henchmen: It just came out of nowhere!

He hollered, before he was caught and slaughtered by a Beowolf.

I dodged an incoming Ursa as I dove behind a crate.

Me: How the hell did they get here?

I asked myself, I had no time to react to my own damn thoughts as I was picked up from behind and had the wind knocked out of me as I was thrown to the other side of the warehouse.

I gritted my teeth in pain as I struggled to stand up.That Albino Beowolf, Tenebris... as Salem called her, was standing there. With basically everyone dead but me, Henchmen all scattered around the floor. Even Bill, who was once a loyal servant to me, lay torn apart only a fee feet away to the side, still clutching his Machine gun.

Tenebris began to speak, while in Beowolf form.

Tenebris: Ace of Spades. Your time has come. Salem's done waiting, in fact. She's sent me to throw you out of the train. So to speak, your days of fame and luck are over, and your failure at your objective imminent...

She said, pointing a clawed finger at me. I began to pull my butterfly knife out of my back pocket.

Me: I have to turn the tides in my favour somehow... Think Y/N! THINK! What could possibly even postpone your death enough to make an escape?

I then glared at Tenebris, somehow showing defiance under the red hot eyes of herself and the Grimm surrounding her.

Me: So... if you want me to come quietly, Tenebris. How's about a little duel?

She smirked a bit, signalling her thralls to stand back. They all seemingly nodded and sat down for her. She pulled out from out of nowhere a dark-grey smoking sword, similar to the one Salem wielded against me.

Tenebris; Fine then, I accept... You think you have this all under control do you?

Me: For a second there... yeah, I probably did!

I said, growling myself. And lashing forwards with my butterfly knife in hand. She also ran at me, poised to strike. As we met, she swing her sword horizontally wholst I leapt over her blade and embedded my butterfly knife in her stomach. She winced in pain as she then kicked me away, leaving my knife sticking inside of her.

Me: She's left handed, meaning that I could possibly try and flank her from her left side.

I quickly grabbed an SMG that lay on the floor just a few feet from me, and also a second magazine of ammunition.

Tenebris: Leave us minions.

She ordered. The Grimm spawn only growled in response and continued back towards the still-open portal. As they do this, she grunts as she pulls my butterfly knife out of her side, throwing it down onto the ground.

Tenebris: Your puny knife won't be enough to defeat me. Let us now settle this, once and for all...

I only cracked my neck in response, she smiled at me. Taunting me? She's really going to get it now.

I cock the SMG as I begin running towards her, firing the whole magazine. She blocks it all with her sword as she disintegrates the blade. I begin to try and smack her on the head with the now-empty gun, but it ends up in a wrestle, with me on one side and Salem's dog on the other.

Me: GOD! She's strong...

I begin to almost loose my footing before I remember that I grabbed an extra magazine. I discard on one of my arms to try and confuse her as I quickly swap out the empty magazine with the replacement.

Tenebris: Clever.

She uttered, whilst I pulled the SMG out of her grip, and smacking her on the head with it as I previously intended. Her sword connects with me as I am sent barreling back to the walls. I try firing blind shots with my currently blurred vision, all I see is 'Tenebris' walking up to me, towering over with 6ft 5in. She sighs as she raised her foot, and her boot slams in my face.

-Timeskip-

I wake up slowly, all I see are green spots all over. Sluggishly my vision clears as I truly awake to see that albino Grimm-woman again, sitting opposite of me.

Tenebris: Hello Y/N.

Me: Dammit, where am I?

Tenebris: You're still in the warehouse, however all your henchmen's bodies have either been moved or eaten by my soldiers. Anything that could help you escape your chair, is nowhere in arms reach.

Me: Salem sent you? I'm guessing.

Tenebris: Correct, since I had almost no time to tell you minutes ago. I'll tell you right now.

I try to move my arms and legs, all of my gadgets are still on me, however my legs and arms are tied securely in the chair. No movement possible.

Tenebris: Young Amber had failed to meet our deadline for you. My Grace had her contract dropped with her and sent me to knock you out of the competition and secure her superiority in all of Remnant.

Me: So her lap-cat failed after all, sheesh...  Nothing short of what I expected.

Tenebris chuckled, before clearing her throat and getting up to leave me tied down.

Tenebris: So then Y/N, any last words to say to me before I depart?

Me: Starvation isn't an absolute method, try actually KILLING me perhaps. Or are you afraid to?...

I ask, tilting my head.

Tenebris: I'm not killing you Y/N, Salem's ordered me to give you. What she feels like is something more deserving for someone who dared to defy her.

Me: And what's that? Listening to Dustin Bieber 24/7 until my brain caves?

Tenebris shook her head slowly. Pulling out my scroll I had just recently acquired. I see her dialling on the phone while she held it up to her ear.

???: 911 what's your emergency?

Tenebris: Hi, I've got a wanted man here in Industrial Building number 73. He's tied up in a chair waiting on the 5th floor all for you here. Thank you and goodnight.

She turned off the scroll, threw it onto the floor and crushed it. All the while I just began to softly chuckle while shaking my head.

Me: Please don't. *chuckles* You have no idea what your doing...

Tenebris: Oh I don't? Humiliation will devour you... one way or another.

Me: PLEASE DON'T DO THIS! FOR YOUR SAKE! KILL ME!

Tenebris stopped in her tracks, she looked behind herself at me, no longer with that smirking face of hers.

Tenebris: Excuse me?

Me: Don't you hear me bitch!? If you want to live, kill me right here and now!

I screamed across the now growing space between us as Tenebris began to walk away again...

...albeit a bit faster and with shorter strides.

Me: I'll come back! You and Salem aren't safe! Wherever you go, I can find you! YOU CAN'T STOP IT, YOU CAN'T STOP ME!

Tenebris: Tell that to me when you have your little knife in my head! Oh wait! You can't! Farewell Y/N! See you in hell!

She cried back at me, quickly trying to leave the hallway.

Me: This is your last chance lady! WHO'S SCREAMS WOULD YOU RATHER HEAR?! MINE?! OR YOURSELVES?

I yelled as loud as I could, the chair even fell down as I tried shaking towards the door. My face fell hard against the floor, and I began to hear the sounds of police sirens in the distance. Oum bless Salem the day I get out of jail...
