Chapter XV: A Simple Night Out

Y/N's POV

With Aurora watching over things back at the hideout. The opportunity for the night was perfect for a little get-together. Especially since things have been cooling down for now, other than the news reports of a girl found dead in a subway train. But fuck the subway, they closed it down anyways so that doesn't really matter that much. Nobody really saw my face that much and assumed we were probably two huntsmen battling it out, it still makes my mind hurt to be compared with them.

I still put on my signature black hoodie, as well as my butterfly knife... Not much hard decisions but there was one kind of hard choice I was trying to make right now.

Me: Hmmm, Desert Eagle... M1911... Glock... S&W .367... Decisions decisions...

Inspecting the crate of newly delivered guns gave me a hard choice. None of them were as good as Ironwood's Revolver. I guess that means no more Fire Dust Bullets for me... Shit.

Lilith: Y/N, let's go. Stop looking at the crate of guns.

She said, I raised my hand.

Me: A boy doesn't simply stop looking at a crate of guns.

She grabbed my hand, pulling me away.

Lilith: Come on, we're gonna be late. The reservations were only for until 9:00, it's 8:30.

Me: The restaurant's only like a few blocks away, I could get there in 3 minutes in semblance form.

Lilith: That doesn't mean we wait until 8:57, they might even decide to give it away earlier.

I grumbled with disappointment, then sighed.

Me: Well, fine alright then. Hold on this is going to feel weird. Try not to tumble after we arrive and ruin those clothes of yours.

I said while smirking. Lilith was confused.

Lilith: What?

I grabbed her arm, turning both of us to dust. Rushing past the door and out the hideout. Down a few blocks whilst hiding behind a few shadows to conceal our movement.

Me: Whoops, missed the restaurant.

I turned and quickly zipped into an alleyway re-forming myself as Lilith stumbled against the wall in a daze.

Lilith: Whoah... T-that was weird...

I chuckled, everyone has their first time experiencing my semblance.

Me: Don't worry, I felt like that when I first experimented with my abilities. Oh and you might also-

Lilith hurled onto the nearby wall as my stomach churned. That was expected, but not as quick as it would usually happen. Especially for someone who doesn't have Aura, their experiences are... how would I say this? Messier.

Me: That all of it?

I asked, Lilith coughed for a moment before taking out a napkin and wiping her mouth clean, as clean as it started.

Lilith: Fine. Let-let's just go inside.

I nodded in agreement, offering her a hand. She took it and we both approached the entrance of the restaurant. The doorman looked at the list of people and looked at us, Lilith looking normal and then there's me looking like I just came out from the nasty underground.

He looked at the list once more.

Doorman: Lilith Heathers and Mike Ockburns?

I did my best to hold in my laughter, fake names are almost always somewhat hilarious to me...

I nodded with a wry smile as Lilith on the other hand held her palm to her mouth and giggled.

Doorman: Your parents must've hated you.

Me: Your boss must've hated you, giving you the most useless job in the house.

He squinted his eyes, as he unhooked the separators and let us in. The place smelt of wine and chicken, with a little Jazz Band playing in the background. I then turn to you.

Ace: 'By the way reader, this is where you can play the jazz music Bill placed at the top.'

A waiter in his 60s walked up to the both of us.

Waiter: Votre table est ici Monsieur.

The waiter spoke, I smiled back at him and responded.

Me: Ah, merci merci mon ami, Je vais aimer cette restaurant. Et ton hospitalite.

The waiter led us to our table, which was secluded in a room, lit by blue LED lights, the walls were illuminated with a digital background. (Of the reader's choice). Lilith looked to me in surprise.

Lilith: W-wow... how did you?

I looked at her with a smile.

Me: It didn't take much convincing for the Mafia to lend me a small load of a couple thousand lien. Saved some of it though, this restaurant is surprisingly cheaper than I imagined.

She sat down opposite of me on the table, I sat down as well. The waiter lent us menus detailing meals meant for Teens.

Waiter: Qu'est-ce vous veut pour le dîner?

He asked, I chose the (Favourite food).

Me: Je chosis le/la (Favourite food in French).

Lilith chose something I couldn't see, all the while she handed the menu back to the waiter, he waited for her order as she sweat dropped, looking towards me.

Lilith: Y/N... I can't speak French...

I nodded while agreeing, looking at the waiter, snapping my fingers to signal him.

Me: Elle veut le... Lilith, what do you want for dinner?

She whispered.

Lilith: Sushi.

I smirked, not hesitating to process the order to the man.

Me: Elle veut la sushi.

The waiter nodded, exiting the room. As for us, me and Lilith were left alone.

Me: So, how do you like tonight by far dear?

I asked, with a jokingly romantic tone in my voice. Lilith adhered snd responded with an extremely bad British accent.

Lilith: Why, my love. I all but not appreciate what you have worked hard to obtain for me.

We both laughed, all the while spending a few minutes telling jokes on each other. While the waiter returned with our meals.

Me: Ah, sweet relief... Bon temp, Monsieur.

Waiter: Le meilleur de le restaurant, pour tu et ton petite amie.

Lilith pulled out a pair of chopsticks and began eating the sushi laid on the plate. While I went to town with my (Favourite food).

Lilith: Whoa there, careful. Or else I'll probably have to save you again from choking.

I stopped for a moment, looking at her with a bit of (Favourite food) still in my mouth. I gulped down the pieces and cleared my throat.

Me: Sorry. He he.

I laughed, as Lilith ate another piece of sushi with her chopsticks.

Lilith: I really have a knack of rescuing you from bad situations don't I?

Lilith asked suggestively. I nodded in total agreement.

Me: Oh hell yeah, like that time with Caleb, and that other time with Charlie.

Lilith: Don't forget the Rose slash Xiao Long sisters.

She said with a pseudo disappointed look.

Me: I could've taken both of them by myself.

I bragged, as she rolled her eyes.

Lilith: Well, you always seemed like the reckless type to me.

Me: Isn't that what convinced you to join me back at Beacon?

I asked, tilting my head with abbreviated curiosity. We both laughed as the waiter leaned into the room and placed his finger to his lips.

Waiter: Š'il vous plaît monsieur et madame, Shhhhhh.

I turned to him with a face that said 'I don't really give a shit.'

Me: Oui oui, Shhhhhh. Monsieur merde-tête.

I snarled back, snickering. He sighed disappointedly, rolling his eyes and exited the room once more.

Lilith: Well, that worked.

She grinned, I raised my arms in the air.

Me: What can I say? I'm an expert.

I complemented myself, as Lilith finished the last of her sushi and I gobbled up the remaining pieces of (Favourite food).

Me: My god that was filling.

Lilith: Thanks for bringing me here Y/N. I loved it.

Me: That's alright, but! Mais! That's not all.

I said, Lilith questioned.

Lilith: What's next?

I grinned at her.

Me: Attend pour la crème de la glacé.

Lilith: Umm, I don't know what that is...

Me: Oh, that's just ice cream.

Lilith: Ooo! Ice cream you say?

Basically the night continued, with us finishing the  dessert only narrowly avoiding the Schnee family as they entered and we left. Apparently they also decided that this restaurant was a great idea to have their little familial get-together, fuck them anyways. We than went to a nearby hotel for the rest of the night since I had a kittle more money left, probably the stuff I stole from Diana's body... might've had sex... Okay yes we did have sex... (Too nervous to actually write that scene. Sorry guys.)
