Chapter XIV: Dulling the Diamond pt.2

A/N: Might have to add another name on the Ace of Spades poem soon... 😈

Me: 'That stubborn girl still chooses to fight... What motivates her?'

I ask myself. Diana relentlessly swung her claws at me, I dodged every single one of them. Semblance-ing myself behind her and body slamming her a few feet away from me, the wind of another passing subway metro train filled the car as my h/c coloured locks fluttered in the wind, as well as Diana's crimson hair.

Me: Give up Diana, there's just no hope for you... I know your fighting style, I know how you operate and your aura level is far below mine. Succumb to your fate bestowed upon you by me.

Diana; Who are you to judge who lives and dies?!

She asked, trying to find an answer.

Me: This is beginning to sound like Death Note...

Diana: Fuck you Kira-wannabe I say what I want. Plus this whole damn thing seems a bit like Death Note since the beginning.

She slipped an ice-dust canister in her claws. Her blades morphed to baby-blue. Hm, my one weakness.

Me: Ice dust eh? You really don't like to play fair.

Diana: As if you play fair either, with your OP semblance, and your golden tongue.

Me: Considering those, yes I regard myself as very gifted. In fact, I'll let you have the first shot at this, I'm a gentleman at heart really... I'll make things tip a bit in your favour.

Diana smirked, rushing me. I flipped over the blades that were pulsating blue. She spun around as I was scratched on my calf, ice formed around my leg as I was disabled from using my semblance.

Me: You know I let you do that...

Diana: Nevertheless. When I'm done with you, you'll only be a blood stain under the bus.

She confidently retracted her claws, brushing her hair to the side and raising her fists... I too did the same.

She threw a left, I caught it. Then a right to my ribs, I try and ignore it. I knee her in the stomach and fling her towards the edge of the hole made in the train by herself. She gasped as I grabbed her arm and twisted it around. She also tried turning with her back facing me, but I held it with a firm grip.

Me: Nice try dear.

I said with a gentlemanly tone in my voice as I crushed her claw weapon on her right arm with my bare hands. I kick her to the ground as I see that one of the subway's rapidly spinning wheels are exposed. I grin mischievously as a brutal idea came to mind.

Diana: N-no! Please don't!

She caught wind of what I'm planning. Oh well, it only gives them a glimpse of what'll happen to them. She tried to extend her left claw weapons, but I anticipated this... Grabbing it as well and using the train wheels as a makeshift medieval sword sharpener, slowly grinding her blades so they are nothing more than a fancy device on her wrists. Making the wheel itself almost red-hot in the process.

Me: I might say that pretty face of yours kind of looks dull today... Perhaps you should sharpen it.

Diana: NO! NO!

She screamed in fear, trying to writhe free from my grasp. Doesn't she know that when Death has it's hands on you, you cannot escape?

I slowly lowered it, as she squinted from the burning hot wheel. I felt her pulse on her veins as I only pushed harder. That was when her red hair got caught in the axel of the wheel.

Me: When I'm done with you, you'll only be a bloodstain under the bus... or should I say train?

She didn't respond, she couldn't...

All I could see was blood splattering all over the walls of the tunnels, Diana's squirming slowly dialled down to spontaneous nerve reactions as I constantly held her body down.

My black-coloured aura danced across my body a bit as it reached half of what it's supposed to be. The train of course, with the conductor having no clue of the fighting happening just a few cars behind him followed the normal procedure and stopped at the very next station.

I sighed, letting go of Diana's headless corpse. Her red aura finally flickered out as I snatched some spare Lien from her pockets. I casually walked out of the train, as the automatic door voice sounded. The doors closed halfway as the train began sparking and leaving the station, with a cold wind trailing a mobile murder scene.

Once I walked out of the station, I saw Aurora sitting on a bench near the Station entrance, just like I told her to.

Aurora: Wow, Station 17. Just like you said Ace of Spades.

Me: You're not an enemy of mine, you don't have to call me Ace of Spades, Or Spade. Just call me Y/N.

Aurora: Ohhhh, um... er, what happened back there...

She asked, pointing to me... Diana's blood must've gotten on me... Shit. I'll probably just clean it off with my own spit.

Me: Ah... yes that. Don't worry, it's all part of the plan. Why'd you ask?

Aurora: No reason, thought it was your blood.

Me: If it was my blood you would have seen... I would've been dead, and you would see a ginger walking out of that station instead of me.

Aurora: Fair enough assumption.

Me: Now, let's get back to the hideout... Actually, Lilith's at another hideout right now, so we'll just head over there instead.

(Timeskip with Chibi Y/N using his semblance, only to get blown away by Aurora, who is using a fan.)

Me: With all threats out of my way, the operation can proceed as planned.

I said to myself, staring at a videocassette in my hand, made by the Mafia's boys back at the Atlesian Advanced Tech Industry. The key to my final victory against the Emporium known as the Schnee Dust Company.

Lilith: I still don't get why you had to get her on the team.

Lilith pondered.

Me: Lily, ever since Charlie's death I'm one man down. I needed a replacement, plus... my silver tongue showed that snake who's the boss.

Lilith: Say, that operation's not going to be until 2 weeks from now will it?

She asked hopefully, I looked around, making sure Aurora or none of the Mafia members saw me. I leaned into Lilith's ear, whispering.

Me: I guess since you saved my life back there with Charlie... I guess I could reward you with a little... date.

I said with a little smile, Lilith's not much of a mature smile... more of a 'Kid who got what he wanted for Christmas' smile. She held her hands to her mouth. Bewildered by what I had just said.

Lilith: I-I don't know what to say...

Me: Don't say thank you, this is a thank you from me to you... You don't exactly respond to a thank you with another thank you.

I said, gently wrapping my arms around her, giving her a little kiss of mine with absolutely no one else in sight...

Gary: Uh, boss... here are those new pistols you requested...

I sighed... Then grunted...

Me: Gary...
