I stood with the other genin as the Procter explained the reason for the preliminary round. I was getting restless.

"How long are we just going to stand here, I want some action"

"now if your not feeling up to it you can drop out now and go home" the Procter, who I didn't bother remembering the name of, stated. after a moment of quiet shuffling he added " just to clarify, this is a personal decision and will not affect your team in any way" sighs of relief went through the room.

knowing non of my team would quit I began to scan the competition. and my attention landed on a couple of stone ninja who where not even trying to keep there voices down.

"tsk, what are all these girls doing here? don't they know that the fighting is for the guys" I bit my lip trying not to say anything  "its a shame they even let them participate, they are just too cute to get all beaten up like this"

I was about ready to snap when I felt myself being picked off my feet and spun around in circles

"ACE, THE YOUTHFUL DRAGONFLY IM SOOOO GLAD YOU MADE IT.. NOW I CA SEE YOUR YOUTHFULNESS IN ACTION" ( not like that you perves)

I grabbed on to kibas shoulder to steady myself sence I  was dizzy. once  I stopped spinning I looked at him and gave him a thumbs up.

"thanks Lee I cant wait to see you and your team fight too." then I pointed at him  "I EXPECT A GREAT SHOW OF YOUTH FROM YOU TODAY"  he saluted me before receiving a glare from Dad and running back to his team.

 "how do you get along with that guy?" kiba questioned

I shrugged "he reminds me of dad"

"alright for our next match look up at the board" we all watched as it flipps through all the names.. finally landing on 2 "Alright will, Aurora and Miko Chizami come down to the arena"

" WAHOOO its my turn" I shouted throwing my fist in the air and looking at my team, or whats left of it since kiba already lost to Naruto.. poor akamaru.  I jumped down and eagerly waited for my opponent.

seconds later I heard footsteps coming down the stairs and I voice I wasn't too happy to hear..

"gez, why do I have to fight a girl." I growled at the on coming stone ninja "why don't you just quit and go make me a sandwich or something women" he smirked

dad didn't seem to like his comment very much, I don't either.

"just you wait tell you lose. im going to win with sooo much YOUTH you'll  never doubt the power of the female again!!!"I stated with a smile doing cartwheels along the way.

"your too loud, and WAY too happy. would ya just shut up?" I was about to respond when he interrupted m " how about we make a deal?"

" what kinda deal?" I sized hi up. getting a good look at him for thee first time. he was average height with spiky blond hair and stone gray eyes. he obviously had muscle but wasn't a taijutsu type. yes he was strong in appearance but he had soo much muscle that I would greatly restrict his movements. over all you could call him cute but I already didn't like him.

"the catch.." he paused smirking at me. and as if it where nothing stated casually " you have to cook for me and watch me train all day up untell the end of the chunin exams"

I glared  at him and was ONCE AGAIN interrupted " oh ya I forgot to mention.. you have to stop playing ninja and admit your weak"   oh he did not ...

"IM NOT GOING TO LOSE TO THE LIKES OF YOU. . I am the YOUTHFUL GOLDEN DRAGONFLY OF THE HIDDEN EAF VILLAGE AND YOU DONT PISS OFF THE DRAGON!!!"

without even waiting for the Procter to say go we ran at each other

over the past 20minutes or so I have been pelted with a variety of earth ninjutsu and have spent my time running around in in circles. I think I was beginning to irritate him.

"STOP RUNNING IN CIRCLES DARN WOMEN"

"why it my favorite pass time"

"what irritating me?" he got an irk mark as I said

" no running in circles duuu" I yelled with a smile... I wasn't NEARLY full speed.. I started out at about the normal for ino or hinata but have been slowly building up my speed over the past few minutes. of course he doesn't know this and just thinks hes slowing down

"he shot a bolder at me, but missed "hey miko your slowing down, are you getting tierd already"  I tanted, earning another round of flying objects aimed at my head.

"oooo, someone's starting to panic"  I sang. it was funny because he wasn't even going to denie it .

"MIKO DONT LISTEN TO HER, ITS ALL JUST A TRICK" oh it looks like one of his teammates figured it out judging by the fact it came from the upper balcony "YOUR NOT SLOWING DOWN.. SHES SPEEDING UP"

he looked utterly shocked . before getting angry and shouting at me "YOU'VE BEEN GOING EASY  ON ME YOU LITTLE SQIURT"

I dramatically slid to a stop in front of him before looking up at his teammate and yelling up to them " oh come on you ruined up all my fun, I was actually enjoying myself" I huffed  before smiling like nothing in the world could possibly be wrong.

"STOP GOING EASY ON ME "

I sighed " fine but im leaving my leg weights on" then I resumed my running.. this time at full speed.

"earth  style rock pillers" I jumped and dodged a few spikes cumming out of the ground before deciding to runn up one and pose.  once I got to the top I shouted down just for the heck of it "CANT TOUCH THIS DUN NUNNUNU" I gigged now dancing to the song playing in my head

but al he did was smirk what is it with tough guys and smirking

"you know us stone ninja are not nearly as soft as you of the leaf... unlike you .. we like to play dirty " I looked at him confused . before he shot a rock at the direction of the leaf ninja ... or more specifically.. DAD

I couldn't help it I began  to panic ... then something I never saw coming happened ...
