sorry for the long time no update situation... i got sick, still am actually, and had to stay in bed for the LONGEST time. .. and yes i know im procrastinating writing about the Chunin exams with all these fillers but you must remember i make it up as i go and sense this doesn't follow team 7 i have to keep things interesting.

p.s. i need ideas for the next chapter, and also how should i have her meet the sand siblings, its not going to be with team 7 if i can think of anything else. (sorry for any spelling mistakes for this chapter)

Ace POV

"what do you mean required a last name. ive spent my hole life without needing one, so why now?" i said with a bit of panic in my voice.

"yes im afraid you will be required a surname to officially enter the exams" hokage stated looking a bit ashamed of himself for not thinking of this situation sooner. "ill give you tell tomorrow to think about it, you may leave"

(later at the training grounds)

my knuckles bloody, my breathing labored as i hit the training post relentessly. simple enough i was under a bit of stress.

i had never had a last name before and i wasn't sure what to do. it may seem simple to you but its not something to be taken lightly... i thought about asking dad but i know him well enough that i figured  he would tell me i should take his. and in no way was i doing that, i mean i love my dad and am extremely proud to be his daughter but ... Might Ace, or Ace Guy... it just doesn't sound right.

i hit the post once more in frustration before collapsing on my back and letting out a scream of irritation.  i know im over reacting but what would you do if you either had to recall possibly painful memory's or make up a last name by the end of today.

i lay there for a good 10 minutes just allowing my lungs to replenish its oxygen supply when something green crashed into a tree not far to my right.

now who do i know that crashes into trees and dresses like my dad...

A)  a weirdo in spandex

B) a dad wannabee

C) Rock Lee

if your answer was D all of the above you and i have come to the same conclusion. (i dont even know who im talking to... dose anyone actuly read this?) 

i rolled over onto my side and brushed my bright green hair out of my face, "Hey Lee, you really need to work on your steering, your turning into George of the Jungle"

he swiftly recovered himself from the tree, looking slightly dazed .  "ughghghg...." then he looked at me "Ace my youthful angel is that you"

"yes, Lee before you ask your NOT dead you just hit your head running into that tree over there" i motioned to a large tree with him now imprinted in the trunk.

he turned around to see his siloet in the tree and laughed "i guess i should stop doing that"he scratched he head smiling at me before he saw my bloody knuckles. " MY YOUTHFUL LITTLE ANGEL YOUR HURT"   at this he ran up to me in a panic and grabbed my hands with so much force it knocked me over.

"calm down Lee," i said sitting up and rubbing my head  "i like your youthfulness but its not good to panic in situation, especially ones as small as this " i stated looking down at my hands and winced as i unclenched my fists.

at this the boy looked up at me from looking at my hands, eyes filled with worry. "though this is true it is also UNYOUTHFUL to not help a friend in need... and to be honest Guy sensei would never forgive me if i where to leave you injured and do nothing to help" 

"ya but also didnt dad tell you that touching me was forbidden" not that i mind...

"well yes but I'm sure he would understand in this situation"he looked at me a few moments as i sighed before beginning to wrap my hands in some of the bandages on his arms. " is there something going on? your youthfulness seems... off today" he questioned

"what makes you say that" was it really that obvious

" well for one you seem distracted and you will not look me in the eye when i speak to you which is one of the first things Guy sensei teaches, being his daughter i figured it would be almost natural for you by now." wow Lee who knew you could be so.. smart he was right you know, it was natural for me. i guess i didn't notice i wasn't doing so.

"your right Lee... i guess i have a hard time lieing to somone who knows me, or in this case dad, so well" i said sighing once more "sorry for making it so obvious"

"WHAT?!!!!?!?!?! ... no no no no thats it. i think you should be more obvious" i looked at him confused " i understand that a ninja arnt soposed to show there emotions to the enimy but im a friend,  its YOUTHFUL  of you to not want your friends to worry but thats not always a good thing.. "

"i guess your right," i lowerd my head in shame

i was just about to go off into my thoughts of what am i going to do when Lee snapped me out of it by putting his hand on my shoulder, firm enough to keep me from  jumping thankfuly. "may i ask whats bothering your youthful soal, maybe i could help?"

i couldnt help but send a small smile up at him " on well i guess its worth a shot, thanks Lee". i took a deep breath and began " this may sound a bit silly to you but ummm, well acording to the hokage i need a surname to partisipate in the up coming exams" i looked up from my feet to see Lee a bit confused.

"a surname?... do you not have one?" he asked me before adding quietly to himself "i woulld have thought you would seeing as your Sensei's daughter"

 "oh ya about that..." i trailed off.

Lee, sensing this was a hard subject decided "hey how about we go get some dangos and talk there, you must be hungry from all your training" he smiled and did one of dads poses.

"ya that sounds nice Lee thanks" i nodded smiling. it was then that i decided Lee was my best friend, even before Akamaru. and that i would tell him everything.

time skip, to dango shop

Lee POVi sat down with Ace waiting for our food, i looked at her and saw her mentally arguing wit herself. i knew this must be a sensitive subject for her to be like this so i was about to drop the subject until i saw a determined look in her eyes, thats when i realized 'maybe this was something she feels she has to tell someone, i wonder what it is dose guy sensei know about it?'

on the inside i was crying YOUTHFUL tears of joy that she trusted me so much, but though it best to keep it inside... 'if i were to make a scene and some one told guy sensei i was talking to his daughter... ' i left it at that not even daring to think of what punishment awaited me... but right now i had a friend in need so i cant back out just yet.

i snap ed out of my YOUTHFUL mental speech when Ace looked at me and took a deep breath ready to tell me whats going on... "well you see, i dont have a last name because... ummm " deep breath " Lee im not Guy's real daughter, im adopted. and im not sure where i come from exactly"

i froze for a moment... and then through 'not drawing attention to myself' out the window, "WHAAAT!?!?!?! AND YOU NEVER TOLD ME"

"ya... sorry about that" she said nevously scratching the back of her head.

 Ace POV

we sat in silence until the stares we got from bystanders disappeared a they went on with there shopping and eating until our dangos arrived.

i looked at Lee, "are you calm now... i dont need the world to know my story" i questioned

"oh yes, please continue dragonfly" He realy is turning into dad... he  just called me dragonfly.

"ok ... just so you know im not going into any flashbacks or anything, i honestly dont remember it well enough for that" he just nodded for me to continue. "well you see daddy found me a couple of years ago, i think i was 6 at the time. he was returning home from a mission in the land of stone sometime in the Autumn, and being dad he decided to challenge himself and insead of going the normal way home he came through a mountain pass on the boarder between the land or stone and the land of lightning... that's were he found me.

 he was just cumming to a fairly difficult part of the mountain pass when it started getting dark so he decided to camp out for the night. he set up camp and fell asleep only to be woken up by, though its quite embarrassing to thing about, the need to "relieve himself". as he wondered around he came across a cave, normally he wouldn't have bothered looking inside but he says he saw a light cumming from inside and found me sleeping not far from a dieing fire.

seeing that i was shivering and didnt have anything but close that were too small for me, which i was wearing, and some rabbit meet. according to dad i didnt even have shoes at the time. he took me back to camp with him and watched over me the rest of the night. when i woke up he asked me who i was and i told him i didnt have a name. he asked me other questions too, like why was i there? did i have a family? and stuff like that...it was still pretty dark out and something caught my eye. i looked up at the sky and saw what dad told me was an Aurora (northern lights..hehe) apparently i used to look up at it all the time well i stayed in my little cave. so he decided to name me Aurora after it. we sat up and talked all night and soon we were like family, that was when he decided to take me back to the leaf village with him.

when we got back i somehow convinced one of the Gate guards, i think it was Izumo, to give me a piggyback ride all the way to the hokages office, we have been friends sense. but anyway when we got to the Hokage and he agreed to let me stay, he told me that i would start going to school  to be a ninja like my dad. lets just say i didn't want to because i didnt think i would be very good at it, but he convinced me by saying that with dads help and the help of my teachers i would become one of the best and that every village needed an ace. i was so excited that i ran around his office shouting "IM AN ACE NINJA NOW". from then on Lord Hokage and dad started calling me Ace, Hokage was going to send me to live with Iruka sensei but dad offered to adopt me. everyone was shocked and i think Ibiki almost protested but i was soo happy i jumped on him (dad not ibiki) and the Hokage couldn't say no."

i took a deep breath, man that was a  long back story, " and so ive been living with the hidden leafs blue beast sense. he earned the title of daddy and for a while there i almost forgot i was adopted."  i said finishing the story." well until today at least" i sighed

at this Lee look thought full and said, more to himself than anything " wow, no wonder you look nothing like Guy sensei... i wonder what happen for you too end up living in a cave"

" im not sure Lee, but judging from my clothing i was there for at least 2 years" i said restating what ibiki said the first time i came to the village. " and now i have to come up with a last name. normal this wouldn't be a problem but i want my name to mean somthing, or at least something important to me and who i am." i stated thoughtfully

at this Lee perked up. it was one of those light-bulb moments when you gett a good idea. i had to admit i was nervous it was going to be something crazy, but my curiosity got the best of me and i let him explain. "I'VE GOT IT... ITS SUCH A YOUTHFUL NAME ITS PREFECT... how about Akiyama"

"Akiyama?"  i asked, confused as to why that came to mind.

"well ya Akiyama, if im correct it means autumn mountain. i thought i would fit because from what i got from your story Guy sensei found you on a mountain pass cumming home from a mission in the autumn." he said specifying the two words.

" Aurora Akiyama, Ace ninja of the hidden leaf village." i mumbled to myself before breaking out into a HUGE grin.  " I LOVE IT...its soo perfect...  LEE YOUR A GENIUS, A YOUTHFUL SPANDEX WEARING GENIUS." i shouted glomping the wide eyed boy not caring about the now starring villagers walking by.  " i have spent all day thinking, and you come up with the best answer im like 2 minutes." i said getting off of him " thank you Lee you where a big help" i stood up bowing before taking off too go tell the Hokage.

unfortunately for Lee, leaving him with the bill.

at the hokage office

i came crashing into the room, effectively knocking over Izumo and Kotetsu as they stood inside the doorway giving there daily report from the guard stand by the gate.

"oww, hey Ace what was that for?" Kotetsu asked as Izumo helped him too his feet.

" sorry guys i guess i was just excited, i didnt look were i was going."

"its alright kid" Izumo said patting my head "but what is it your so excited about?"

"oh ya thanks for reminding me" i then turned to the hokage and smiled one of the largest smiles i have ever had, second only to that time i outsmarted Ibiki and gave him a black eye,but thats a story for another time. (if i get people to ask for it i will add it in to another chapter, if not then i dont know if we will ever find out... unless i get board)

" lord Hokage, i have an answer to your question"

"oh and what may i ask have you come up with?" he rased and eyebrow.

i was about to answer him when Izumo interrupted "wait? what question, did i miss something"

"well yes actually, normally i wouldn't tell you such a thing but seeing as you three are soo close ill make an exception" Hokage said chuckling. " you see i have personally nominated Ace for the Chunin exams, but we ran into a bit of a road block. which i believe our green haired energetic friend here has found a solution too"

"NO WAY, the Chunin exams? Ace thats amazing" Kotetsu said bending down and picking me up, twirling me around in a circle a few times before setting me down again. Izumo just laughed at my now dizzy face.

once i regained my balance "Yep, next time i come to visit we are going to be equals" i stated looking at the two of them.

"now dont go getting big headed, theres no way you will be equal to us shorty, your still just bairly out of the academy remember" Izumo stated after a moment.

"ya but hey whats this road block your where talking about ?" Kotetsu piped up.

" oh that, well you see Ace needs a last name in order to enter the exam. i gave her the hole day to think about it so im guessing she has the answer"

"YES and it couldnt be better... actuly Rock Lee came up with it for me sence i couldnt think of anything and so he now knows all about me being adopted but thats ok" i said smiling at the thought "  Lord Hokage i am here to make it official, i will be from now on Aurura Akiyama, Ace ninja of the hidden leaf village... or according to dad THE LEAFS GOLDEN DRAGONFLY" i said well laughing.

" Akiyama hu?" izumo asked " dosent that mean Autumn Mountain?"

"yep, it was Lees idea. sence dad found me on a mountain pass in the fall" i said happily, nodding my head " i like it because it has personal meaning even if no one knows it"

the Hokage smiled at this " well i do believe that solves our little problem" he wrights it down on my entrance form " ok its official, you are now free to enter the Chunin exams. you should probably go tell your father were you have been all day, youve had quite abit of excitement for now and its getting late"

i smiled " ya your right thanks for everything, ill see you guys later, BYE" and with that i took coarse for home, ready to tell dad all about my day.

wow that was a long chappy, well for me anyways. thank you  for reading i hope you enjoyed.

also i hop somone has an idea for my next chapter because it took me days to write this chapter sence i have writers block and i have no clue what to do next. i know eventually i want her to meet Gaara, Tamari (spelling?), and Konkuro but im not sure when or how so any ideas are appreciated.
