Michael's POV

I'm surprised Jake is on board with this. He usually follows protocol. I'm glad he's here. We'll need his skill.

“We'll need to close the curtains. Don't want anyone to see this. ”

Jake nodded. He closed the curtains and locked the door. Jessica took a deep breath.

“Ok. We have to find a way to expose him. Expose everything he's doing. ”

I cross my arms. “How are we suppose to do that? He has inside people. ”

“Well, we'll have to figure out who they are. ”

I thought about my visitation visits.

“Those two guards. The ones who you were arguing with Jessica. The ones that beat me up and left me at your door. They have to be apart of his plan. ”

Jessica thought for a minute and nodded. “Yes. That's the only explanation, unless they are just naturally assholes. ”

Jake stepped up. “Donald and Francis? They keep to themselves. They wear protective gear like a riot is going to happen. The warden says nothing to them. They make me...nervous. ”

I said, “I never saw their faces. Maybe they are hiding their identity. ”

Jake ran his fingers through his hair. “I've never seen their faces either. Oh God. This is deep. ”

Jessica gently placed her hand on his shoulder. “Its going to be ok. I have a feeling we can stop him. ”

I looked back at Jerry. He was leaning against the wall staring at Jessica. I walked over to him.

“You ok, Jerry? ”

He seemed like he was in deep concentration.

“Jerry? ”

I snapped him out of his thought.

“Uh? What? ”

“I asked are you ok? ”

“Yeah. It's just.. I've seen her before... I just don't know where... ”

I looked back at Jessica. She looked at me and smiled. I smiled back. She looked at Jerry. I was so confused on her face expression. She looked scared. As if she has seen Jerry before.

I looked at Jerry. “Well, she works here. That's where you've seen her. ”

He shakes his head. “No. I've never been up here. ”

I leaned against the wall. “Well, maybe it'll come to you. ”

He nods. “Yeah....maybe. ”

Four hours later

“Four hours and nothing! ”

Jake was getting frustrated. I took a deep breath.

“This is fucking useless! Jake you should just take me to Henry and let me kill him! ”

Jake looked as if he was considering it.

But Jessica said, “No. Michael, you need to calm down. We can't just do that. ”

Jake said, “Why not? We can end this. Tonight. ”

I took this opportunity to say, “Jake you can sneak me and Jerry out. ”

“Wait! Why Jerry? ”

“Jerry can help me. We're doing life anyway. Plus, I need his help to find a tape. If I can find this tape it'll prove my innocence. And if there's a tape on me there's a tape on Jerry. We can be free. ”

Jake scratched his head and said, “Ok. We're doing this. Jessica, you need to stay here or at your house. Just stay safe. ”

Jessica shook her head. “No, this is a bad idea. We can't do this tonight. We don't even know if he's there. ”

Jake checked his watch. “Its now or never. Let's go you two. ”

Jake stood at the door. Jerry walked over to him. I started for them, but then turned around. I walked to Jessica and kissed her.

I whispered in her ear, “I'll be back. I promise. ”

I walked to Jake and he put our cuffs on.

It's time to end this. Once and for all.
