Chapter 60

"Thank you, for doing this. You didn't have to."

"I know, but I wanted to. Your welcome by the way." Yoongi said to the male sitting beside him. He eyed his fidgety posture, fingers nervously playing with each other. "Are you nervous?" He asked.

Jimin let out a small laugh before he turned his head to look to the side, out of the car. "How can I not be? Am about to meet the man I have been searching for, for a decade." Yoongi hummed in understanding, he knew the other was a mess of fear on the inside, he had been there one time.

"I just don't know how he will react, or how I will. What if he doesn't accept me, what if he sends me away, or. . ." He rumbled on, Yoongi putting a hand on his knee to stop him. The omega paused looking up at him. "Look, I don't know what your expectations are about all of this. But I think you should at least be happy you got to find him, and see him in this life time again. And besides, I talked to him remember. He is just as excited to see you as you are to see him." Jimin swallowed before nodding, he really had to thank the universe for Yoongi.

"Thanks." He said, for the almost melt down he he was about to have.

"He is expecting us now, I think we should go. Ok?" Yoongi asked, the other nodding before getting out the car. Today was the day Jimin would be meeting his father after twelve years, he couldn't tell if he was more nervous or excited. The events in his life made it difficult to comprehend something of this sort. He wasn't used to good things happening to him, so this scared him. He suspected the alpha beside him carried with him a lucky charm, otherwise Jimin felt like things would have gone south already. They always did.

He only prayed in his heart that this time it would be different, he prayed to the force that brought him and Yoongi together to gift him one more miracle. He prayed that he would truly be able to meet his parents today, even if one of them wouldn't be physically present.

The past month had been spent looking over the documents, matching it with the information he knew, and finally accepting the truth before him. Yoongi had stayed through it all. He had stayed when Jimin broke down, when he worried, when he feared, and basically. . . everything else. He could have left, demanded for pay and leave him with his struggles, but he stayed when Jimin asked him to. He was one of kind, Jimin knew so.

They both walked to the compound, a nice medium sized house sitting on the center, the grass was well mowed, the flowers by the fence nicely kept. Jimin's eyes went around, spotting a small pick up on the side of the house, alongside other things that he couldn't properly register due to his nerves.

Yoongi had informed him that his father was farmer now, mostly for small plants, he owned a green house where he operated his business, and earned a living from. Jimin wasn't at all surprised at that, his father was always a simple man.

His thoughts were cut by the knock that Yoongi made on the door. "Maybe he is not home. We should come back some other time." He said when it went unanswered. He made to move but Yoongi wrapped a hand around his waist keeping him beside him. He didn't have the time to react, or blush as the door opened.

Time slowed for Jimin as he made eye contact with the man before them.

He wasn't on photograph like he had been seeing him, and he wasn't on papers like he had been reading about him. He was right there, before them, in flesh. Jimin's eyes widen welling over with tears immediately while he trembled. The man tore his eyes from him, and looked at Yoongi, the alpha only flashing a small smile looking at Jimin.

It was like he knew immediately what he meant, and he let the door go, hands going limply by his side. "J-jimin?" the man asked, almost scared he was making a mistake. His eyes held realization, as he stared at his son, now grown. Jimin himself couldn't speak as he recognized every feature of the other's face. His eyes, and every single detail, down to the scare over his eyebrow. That was his father right there.

"Dad." He whispered, his feet making a move forward, before eventually throwing himself at the man. Mr park caught him, equally wrapping his hands around him tightly. It was tears, cries, kisses and endless hugs. Yoongi couldn't help admire it, he thought it was beautiful, a scene as such. They had been waiting for twelve years, to be in each other's arms, and finally they were.

Usually he didn't stick around for the reunion part when he was on a job, he would lead his clients to it and leave. But Jimin wasn't just a client, they had weirdly formed a friendship, so Yoongi didn't mind sticking around.

It reminded him of his own meeting with his birth mother, although it wasn't anything close to this. They wasn't tears, or much words spoken. It wasn't roses, and they weren't wrapping their hands around each other. His mother had shown up at the burial of his other mom. The woman had not mentioned anything about their relation. Simply there, to give her condolences. Yoongi had thought at the time that she was simply a guest, one that would stare at him a little too long when she thought he wasn't looking. Yoongi thought he had probably just felt bad for their loss.

Until he found out later when he started his job, his first assignment being to track his mom. He had tracked her down, confronted her, and asked if she was her mother. She was surprised at first, but didn't make an effort to deny it either.

A lot like Jimin now, Yoongi had found it difficult to form words, he had been waiting most of his life to confront his parents, and when he finally found one of them, he had been unable to speak, it had been too much. Although they both refused to shed tears, both being alpha's, and acting tough.

Unlike Jimin, Yoongi had demanded answers, he had talked down at her and demanded she tell him why. Surprisingly, she didn't refuse, she told him all about it, her reasons and her desire to redeem herself, which Yoongi turned away from, for a good few years. But she was persistent and kept coming back, attempting, until Yoongi warmed up to her. Seokjin would later found out and acquaint himself with miss Suyun too.

Unlike Jimin that looked like he had finally found the key to his life, Yoongi wasn't particularly thrilled to have his birth mother in his life. He knew he couldn't just unknow her, or forget about her, he also knew he couldn't just brush away the kind of care that he had grown for her over the years. Even if it was little, it was there.

Apart of him felt like he had a lot in common with Jimin. He reminded him of Miss Suyun; so easy to love and care for. Oddly he wondered if that was what he felt for Jimin. If he loved and cared for the omega now, or perhaps he was just close to him, too close. His thoughts were interrupted when Jimin pulled at his arm. He hadn't even been listening.

"You've met Yoongi right?" Jimin questioned, not willing to leave the older man's side, but still tugging at Yoongi's sleeve. "I can't thank you enough Mr. Min." The man said wiping his tears too. "Please come in."  He offered, to which Yoongi followed, he watched the dad coo at his grown son, Jimin only blushing but not shying away from the affection.

"I really can't believe it's you baby. I thought I would die before I ever had a chance to see you again."

"I thought so too, I missed you so much." They both cried as they went into the house. It was nice wood, decorated simply, giving the home a warmly look to it. "You've grown so much...I just, I don't know what to say." His father exclaimed as they neared the living room.

Jimin only giggled, seating on the couch with the man, Yoongi took opposite side, admiring the house while the two admired each other. Mr. Park served them snacks, getting them all comfortable, before he and Jimin finally got to properly talk. Yoongi sat through it, listening intently and chiming in with a question occasionally.

It started with the man talking about his husband. Jimin's Appa, what happened, how he died, and everything after. It was sad, Jimin silently crying, and Mr. Park, seeming to have accepted it. Then Jimin spoke of his own story, the sad cruel tale of his life, how he basically raised himself in a brothel. He didn't miss the details, even when it was painful to recall. His dad unable to do anything but shake his head in disbelief and shed more tears.

Yoongi may or may not have shed a tear when no one was looking.

Their lives had been a wreck, but it was giving them another shot, and they looked like they were going to take it. It made Yoongi think of his brother, Seokjin. How much he had gone through in life because he was an omega, even if it wasn't a lot compared to Jimin. He felt like there wasn't a lot of good people left in this life, most just wanted to take advantage of the weak, or the poor in power. Even when Seokjin finally found happiness, there were still the Ill hearted who wished him pain.

He wanted to make sure Jimin didn't go through another scenario as such, seeing as he had gone through a lot already. It was the reason he had stuck around for so long, hoping he could do something to protect him, now that he couldn't fully protect his brother.

"Oh, Mr. Min, you don't talk a lot do you?" The dad questioned as he brought another tray of cookies into the room. He was more smiles now, seeing as Jimin had restored to less sad stories. He had been telling the life of the city, and the experiences he had wanted to share with the man. "I do, I just didn't want to ruin your moment."

"Oh please, this wouldn't have happened without you." The man said sitting next to Jimin, who cuddled his chest immediately.

"Yeah Yoon, thank you." Jimin said revealing his gums in a smile. Yoongi thought it was cute, how it reached his eyes, how genuine it look. He was also captivated by his lips, he had been for a while now. So full and inviting.

"Just doing my job, am glad I could help." He had told the man he would bring him his son, and he did. At first Mr. Park had been suspicious of him, Yoongi could have been anybody, but the man had eventually warmed up to him and gave him a chance. He was glad he had made something as beautiful as this.

"I actually think I should go, I still have something to do, and you two need sometime to catch up." He finally said after a glance at his watch.

"Are you sure. Stay for dinner." The man urged, Jimin giving him a sad look. "Am really sorry, I wish I could, thank you though."

"I should be the one thanking you son, I owe you everything I have now." He glanced to Jimin as Yoongi stood, the omega standing too. Yoongi shook Mr Park's hands, who thanked him repeatedly before letting him go.

"I'll just walk him out." Jimin announced walking to the door with the alpha. "Are you sure you want to go. It's a long drive back to Seoul." Jimin stated once they were outside. "Yeah, plus I don't want to intrude on your moment, I want you to enjoy it."

"Your absolutely not intruding, you found him for me, he's everything I have wanted in life. I can't thank you enough."

"You deserve it. You deserve every good thing." Yoongi said without skipping a beat. Jimin only smiling and biting at his lip. He looked down for a second before looking at the alpha. "Um, I don't know for how long am going to be here, but when I get back to Seoul, whenever your free, would you like to grab something to eat with me. . . as a way of thanking you, since you won't let me pay you." He added the last part, not wanting to seem desperate, or like he didn't like the alpha already.

"I think I would like that very much." Yoongi smiled, Jimin couldn't resist the sight of those squishy cheeks, so he leaned over suddenly and planted a kiss on one of them shyly. "Thanks again." He said when he pulled away. Yoongi just about devoured those plump lips of his.

But he stopped himself, he could wait.

Just until Jimin returned to Seoul.

So initially I planned this book to be 60 chapters, I guess that won't be possible now, although we are approaching the ending.😳
