okay so no one asked for this
but like this confused me for
a while and I figured this might
help some other people writing
marauders fics as well

SO, WHAT IS THE PRANK
well to put it in easier terms it was a 'prank' that Sirius pulled on Snape and despite my immense hated for the greasy git, it was out of bounds, so here's the tea sisters:
— Sirius told Snape to go to the whomping willow on the night of the full moon, Sirius told Homs exactly how to get into the shrieking shack
— his idea was that werewolf moony was going to scare Snape shitless pretty much and the other boys would laugh
— however no one found it funny as it put Snapes life at risk and as much as they may have hated him they didn't wish him dead
— this in return made Remus feel worse, as though his friends believed him to be the monster that he believed himself to be
— it happened in their fifth or sixth (I'm not 100% sure, please be sure to double check!) year more than likely and Remus/the other marauders pulled away from Sirius slightly
— Remus pulled away from the rest of the group as well out of fear for hurting them

and yeah pretty much Sirius
was a dumbass but 🥺🥺 they
still were friends in the end
