"You must be Ben " her uncle said .

"Uncle Tony were gonna sit down " Rey pulled Ben's hand along .

They sat down far away from everyone, just so they could be away from them and Rey could have time to breath.

"So you must be Ben !" Her other aunt said .

"Yes ... It's nice to meet you -"

"Aunt Lucy-"

"Aunt Lucy ... Aunt Lucy ... Oh ! Rey told me you were a great cook" Ben lied .

"I always have been the best chef in the family ... You two should eat ..." Aunt Lucy said .

"We will in a moment" Ben said and then she hugged them both and walked off.

"Thank you for sticking to your script" Rey whispered .

"You're welcome" he said . Rey rubbed his shoulder than put her hand out . "What?"

"Let's eat ... I'm hungry and eating for two" she laughed . Ben stood up and grabbed her hand .

They walked over to the large buffet and grabbed a plate . Rey didn't put much on her plate .

"You okay ?" Ben asked .

"Yeah " she nodded and then they sat back down .

Ben and her were eating . "So ... What college have you been looking at?" Ben asked her .

"Probably Washington State or maybe Oregon... You?"

"Oregon and Washington actually " Ben said .

Rey nodded at him then went to eating. "Rey ! How come you aren't eating more ?!" A lady asked sitting by her .

"I'm not that hungry Aunt Joy" Rey picked at her food. "Oh , Aunt Joy this is Ben ... My fiancé "

"Hi it's nice to meet you" he said . She looked at him and smiled .

"You're very handsome aren't you?"

"I like to think so" Rey butted in.

"Joy ! Are you bugging them?" Another lady asked .

"Oh hush up Stella ! I'm just being friendly!" Joy said .

"Hi I'm aunt Stella " the lady said and hugged him.

Ben hugged her back and Rey smiled at the sight of her aunt squeezing him.

"I'm gonna go use the bathroom I'll be right back" she said to Ben .
He nodded and then she walked off.

"How's it going with Ben ?" Benjamin asked her when she came out.

"Good ... He seems to be just fine ... Have you seen Richard yet?" She asked .

"No ... I haven't ... I'll let you know ..." Benjamin kissed her cheek and she walked back to Ben .

He was surrounded by her aunts and female cousins . All talking to him. Rey saw a smile on his face when talking to the ladies .

Rey walked over and saw that her chair had been moved very close with Ben's . Rey sat down and looked at him . He let out a smile and she shook her head.

They had been asking questions about their relationship and surprisingly Ben was really calm , no matter the question . They ladies left so Ben and Rey were alone .

"Rey?" She turned and saw Richard.

"Richard... This is Ben ... Ben this is father , Richard" Rey said softly .

"Oh ... It's nice to meet you sir -" Ben put out his hand .

"You're the one responsible for this" he said .

"Richard stop" Rey said .

"You got her pregnant... How dare you show your face at a family event like that!"

"Stop it!" Rey said .

"Sir I can - " Ben began

"Rey you're coming home with me ... I knew you staying with you're grandfather would end up like that!"

"Ric-"

"And look ! You're pregnant... And how dare he come to my family's home ... You're coming with me and Lina back to Tampa and you are not to see him ever again ... And that thing in there is gonna be thrown up for adoption!" Richard yelled .

"Sir , your daughter and I are gonna raise this baby together and I don't really think you have any right to talk to her like that" Ben said standing in front of Rey.

"You stay out of this !"

"I'm sorry sir but that's my fiancé and that's my child ... And my family is gonna help take care of our baby ... You need to apologize to her !" Ben said .

"You little fucker " Richard yelled .

"Richard !" Benjamin yelled coming out.

"Shut up old man ! Look what you allowed to happen to my daughter !"

"He -" Rey began

"You shut your fucking mouth !" Richard yelled.

"Don't speak to her that -" and then Richard punched Ben in the nose .

Suddenly all her uncles came and stayed to curse at Richard.
"Ben are you okay?" Rey asked .

"My nose " he said holding it. Rey grabbed his car keys and a napkin and then pulled him to his car .

"Hold your nose with that, head back" Rey told him as she drove to the hotel .

As soon as they got in, Rey held his arm as she pulled him to the elevator.
She quickly opened the door to the room and pulled him to the bathroom.

The napkin was all bloody , Rey then grabbed a cool wash cloth and put it to his nose .

"Let me see it to make sure you didn't break it" Rey said .

Ben leaned forward . She put her hands on either side of his face and moved his head around .

"Not broken ... Nor bruised ... Maybe a little swollen ." She said .

"It stopped bleeding" he said . Rey nodded.

"You should go ahead and change ... I'm gonna call my grandpa and see if things are okay"

"Yeah ..." He said .
