It was a bright and early morning , thankfully she didn't have any morning sickness .

She walked over to the bathroom and showered . Her phone began to ring.

"Hello ?" She asked .

"Hey Rey " Finn said .

"Hey what's up?" She asked looking through her closet .

"What are you doing today ?" He asked .

"Doctors appointment... Everyone is coming " she sighed .

"What do you mean everyone ?" He asked into the phone .

"Well apparently after Han found out it was Ben's he told Leia .. And Leia and Han called over my grandpa and me and they forced Ben into s chair and slapped him until he told my grandfather that he knocked me up ... So they decided that Ben was gonna be part of the baby's life ..."

"And he's okay with this ?" Finn asked .

"No " Rey laughed . "I've gotta go change and stuff I'll send you a picture " Rey said .

"Okay ... Just for the record the name Finn is good for the baby -"

"What if it's a girl ?"

"Finnie"

"Okay bye Finn" Rey shook her head and put her phone on her bed . She slipped into her shirt and jeans them slipped her shoes on.

"Hey ... Ready to go?" Rey asked .

"Yes " Benjamin said and they drove down to the doctor's office . Rey nervously sat there in the car . "What's troubling you?"

"I just ... I could really use mom at times like this" she sighed .

"I know dear ... She's looking down at you ... " he rubbed her shoulder and parked .

Rey walked in and saw Ben on his phone and Leia and Han talking . "There she is !" Leia said and ran over to Rey. Leia hugged Rey.

"Okay ... So we're gonna have her use the bathroom just so we can see her hormone levels without drawing blood then we'll start the sonogram -"

Rey nodded and then was handed a cup . She walked down the hall to the bathroom but saw a line of pregnant woman.

Rey looked nervously at their swollen bellies then her flat stomach . "How old are you?" One lady asked .

"17" Rey said .

"That's when I had my first ... Little Sammie here is our third"

"You've been with the father long?" Another lady in line asked .

"No ... I mean I've know him since I was fourteen but it was a one time thing ... " Rey told them.

"Well ... That's one precious little parasite you've got there ... Be happy" another one said .

"Why would you say that ?" Rey asked .

"I'm 36 ... I've been trying with my husband to have a baby since I was you're age ... Well a year or so older ... " the lady said .

"Yeah" Rey then walked into the stall , peed in the cup , placed it in the baggy and handed it to the nurse .

"Come with me" she said and the entire ground came into the small room.

"Okay... So lift your shirt to just under your chest and then we'll put the gel and we'll start... The doctor will be in here shortly to begin... Wait ...who's the father ?" She asked .

They all looked at Ben "okay then ... Everyone who didn't create this baby leave the room ... Just the mommy and the daddy for now" she smiled .

Leia, Han and Benjamin walked out . Not before they all , and yes all , kissed her head .

"The doctor will be in in a moment " the nurse left the room.

Rey looked around the room , there was baby books and charts and stuff . "How ... How did you tell your girlfriend ?" Rey asked .

"I didn't ... I just broke up with her ... She doesn't need to know " Ben said .

"Well ... Finn and Poe know ... And probably Poe's dog but that's it... Are you comfortable telling people at school ?" She asked .

"I'm not here to make friends Rey" Ben went on his phone .

"Well ... We're having this baby ... I figured you might wanna talk a bit ... Get to know me ... I can get to know you ... "

"I rather not -"

"Why do you always do that?!"

"Do what?" Ben shut his phone off and put it in his pocket .

"You shut people out ! People who are just trying to be friendly ! Geez Ben ! I was trying to talk to you and be nice ! Not become your bff !" Rey angrily looked at him.

"I'm just not one for friends -"

"How about all those people who you come to the restaurant with?"

"Well... As soon as they find out about this -"

"Why are you so worried ? You're not the one who has to carry around a baby for nine months ! Buy all new clothes ... I probably won't see my toes ... It's easier to spot a pregnant 17 year old than 17 year old father ." Rey snapped .

"Maybe I shouldn't be here "

"Maybe you're right " she looked off to the side of the room and Ben grabbed his jacket .

The door opened and suddenly the doctor came in. "Sorry ... I had to break some news to one of my patients... Hi I'm Doctor Smith ... I'll be your OBGYN during this pregnancy... You're Rey right?" She asked .

Rey nodded "and you must be the father ... You two seem awfully young"

"We're both 17" Rey said .

"Well... It's good you're doing this together ... I see so many young girls come in here ... And the never have anyone with the ... Not even a parent ... And there's three of them out here " she smiled and then applied the cool gel to Rey's flat stomach.

She grabbed the tool and then placed it on Rey's stomach . The wand traces along her stomach till a small bean looking thing appeared on the screen . There was then a huge thumping noise .

"What's that?" Rey asked .

"That's your baby's heartbeat... It's pretty strong for three weeks " Doctor Smith told them.

Ben looked around the room, hearing the heartbeat . "And there's the fetus" she said pointing to the small bean on the screen.

"Isn't it small ?" Rey asked .

"No ... About average size for three weeks ... It's about the size of a poppy seed "

"Like a small bean ?" Rey smiled .

"Exactly " and the the machine made a noise .

"What's wrong ? Is she okay?" Ben asked .

"That's just the sound of the machine taking a picture... They're both fine" the doctor reassured him .

"Now ... Do we want some photos for the family?" The doctor asked as she handed Rey a napkin to wipe the gel off and turned the lights on.

"Yes ... About 5 or six" Rey told her .

"Alright I'll have my nurse bring them in ... And your vitals are all fine ... As long as you take your vitals and stay active you'll be good " she rubbed Rey's shoulder .

"It was nice to meet both of you" the doctor then extend her hand to Ben . Ben shook it and she left.
