The two unlikely teammates that were Ruby and Weiss were making their way back to the stadium where the tournament was currently taking place. "Sssooo that was your sister huh?" Ruby asked looking at Weiss.

"Yeah, it was good to see her again although I am just a bit curious as to what she was doing here. I thought that if she was coming to visit that she would have at least called ahead of time." Weiss said looking at her teammate. When the two made their way back to the area they saw that Sun had made his way over to them as well as Neptune.

When the two approached Neptune looked at Weiss and smiled. "So beautiful what did you think of my performance?" He asked looking at the heiress in front of him.

"I think you were flirting with other girls," The white-haired ice queen said looking at the blue haired male in front of her. When Neptune heard this he became a little discouraged however his discouraged look was quickly replaced by one that look to have a slight amount of pride.

"Well seems like someone's never heard of the jealousy tactic," Neptune said a little too loud just loud enough for the ice queen herself to hear it.

"I'm sorry the what tactic?" Weiss asked looking at the blue haired male in front of her.

"You know the jealousy tactic. A trick guys do for girls they are interested in. They do what they can to see if they can't make the girl they like jealous," Neptune said crossing his arms with a smirk on his face. When Weiss heard this her face became slightly redder and she made her way over to her seat. Neptune sighed as he saw this and then spotted a girl with pink hair and a pink tail. When he did he decided to walk over to her and introduce himself.

They then watched as the board indicating the matches started to spin however when it did several spots started to go missing and eventually the word ERROR appeared across it flashing. "It would seem as if we are experiencing some technical difficulties. We regret to inform you that the tournament will be postponed for the next ten minutes," The four members of team RWBY heard one of their teachers say.

"Well, it seems as if we have some extra free time on our hands," Yang said as she looked at the board.

"Yes it would seem that way," Blake commented looking at her teammates. After a brief moment of silence between the four Ruby decided to speak up.

"So who do you think is going to win the tournament?" Ruby asked looking at the three other members of her team and the one blonde faunas that had made his way to the four of them.

"Well, I think we're going to win. I don't see how we can't we're on a roll," Yang said looking at her teammates.

"I must agree. It would appear that we have the advantage over many of our opponents," Weiss said looking at the other three members of her team.

"Well in my own personal opinion I think that team CFVY may end up winning the tournament. They possess great chemistry and they are all very skilled in battle," Blake said looking at them. When she said this her other teammates looked at her with a look of curiosity. "What about you Ruby? Who do you think is going to win the tournament?" Blake asked looking at the red hooded figure in front of her.

"I think that with Yang and Weiss fighting in the next round we've got that round already won however I'm not going to go as far as to say that we're going to win but I think we have a good chance," Ruby said looking at her teammates. After she said this Weiss looked at her then smiled.

"I see that someone is starting to act a bit more like a leader," The ice queen said looking at her. When she said this Yang let out a chuckle then looked at her younger sibling.

"I guess she is starting to grow up just a bit," Yang said looking at the female in front of her. After yet another moment of silence, Blake looked at the male faunas that had been quite thus far.

"So Sun who do you think is going to win the tournament?" Blake asked looking at the male. Sun then thought about it for just a few seconds before he answered.

"Well from what I've seen team JNPR seem to stand a pretty good chance of winning. Then again like Blake said team CFVY seems to be pretty skilled with how they handle themselves. Then we have both your team and my team so it's hard for me to really pick a side when it comes to who I think is going to win the tournament," Sun said looking at them

"Well, you know what I think?" Neptune said a he walked back over to the group. When he got closer to the others they saw that he had a red mark on his face in the shape of a hand.

"Uh, dude what happened?" Sun asked looking at his blue haired friend.

"Let's just say I made a bad joke after I used a not so great pick up line," Neptune said looking at him rubbing his cheek.

"Another jealousy trick?" Weiss asked with a slight snicker at the end.

"I'm going to have to tell Shadow that his stupid pick up line didn't work," Neptune said slightly annoyed.

"You took dating advice from Shadow? You do realize he probably gave you bad advice on purpose right? Not that I blame him but you should have still seen it coming," Sun said looking at him.

"Yeah I had a feeling he was going to do something like this but I guess I was just kind of hoping that he still wasn't mad at me," Neptune said with a sigh as he sat down in one of the seats that were open.

"Uh, who's Shadow?" Ruby asked looking at the two males.

"Oh right, you haven't met them. Well, he's a part of a team called SAFE," Neptune said looking at them. He then paused for a moment before he spoke up again. "Speaking of which my money's on team SAFE for winning the tournament," Neptune said looking at them.

"Dude SAFE is here? I didn't know they were entering the tournament," Sun said looking at him.

"Yeah I can actually see team SAFE right now," Neptune said looking at the blonde male in front of him. When he said this he pointed to the middle of the crowd. Sun then looked over and spotted the Four members that he was talking about.

"Oh I guess they are here," Sun said looking at him.

"Which one's are team SAFE?" Ruby asked looking in the crowd of people in front of her.

"Alright well you see the kid over there eating ice cream," Sun said as he pointed a male with spiky black hair and blue eyes.

"Yeah," Ruby said looking at the male in front of her.

"That's Frost he's a member of team Safe. The girl behind him is Amy she's also a member of team safe." He said as Ruby looked up and saw a girl with light blue hair and Amethyst eyes. "Then the two guys beside her-" Sun said only to be interrupted.

"You mean the dog faunas eating chicken and the guy with his nose stuck in the book?" Ruby asked looking at them. She let her eyes fall over the dog faunas he had black hair and brown eyes. She then let her eyes fall over the other male.

"Well The dog faunas is Emelio and he is a part of team SAFE although to be honest I'm not sure who the guy reading the book is. The one beside Emelio eating a piece of pie is the Shadow," Sun said looking at him. Ruby then let her eyes fall over the male that was beside him. He had black hair with dark purple highlights and a deep shade of crimson colored eyes.

Ruby's starting soon came to an end as they heard Professor Ports voice fill the air. "Alright everyone it would seem as if we have got the technical problems fixed. Now let's see who see who the random match generator pairs up next." He said as the two digital wheels began to spin. It landed on four members of males all looking at them.

"Oh, my seems as if we have Atlas's quadruplet team better known as team DIRT." Professor Port said as he looked at the four men that walked onto the stage. The wheel then stopped on the four people that Ruby and Sun had been looking at just moments before.

"My it would seem as if team DIRT is having to go up against team SAFE," The green-haired teacher of Beacon said looking down at the eight that were making their way to the center of the arena.

"Man I feel a little sorry for them," Sun said looking at them.

"Why's that?" Yang asked looking at the blonde male in front of her.

"Well my team and team SAFE have sparred a few times so much in fact that I've accurately been able to tell where they're power is really at and to put it simply I feel like team DIRT is going to lose," Sun said looking at them.

"What makes you say that?" Weiss asked looking at the male.

"Well just look at them team DIRT is showboating at the moment," Sun said looking at the four males that were currently waving and blowing kisses to the crowd.

"Maybe we had some idea of where they stood on terms of power that would clear things up," Blake said looking at the blonde monkey faunas in front of her.

"Yeah it probably would although I'm not sure how accurately I can explain their power," Sun said looking at them.

"Well then just try your best then," Yang said looking at the blonde in front of her.

"Well if I'm at a ten then Emelio and Amy are both at seventeen Frost is at an eighteen and Shadow is at a thirteen," Sun said looking at them.

"I see so what makes you think that SAFE has the advantage?" Ruby asked looking at Sun.

"Vain," The blonde faunas said looking at them.

"What's that?" Ruby asked looking at Sun.

"It's not a what it's a who and Shadow didn't have a good experience growing up. He has a split personality called Vain he's not as nice as others are," sun said looking at her.

"I see so where would you rank Vain?" Weiss asked looking at the blonde in front of her.

"Well, it's a little hard to get an accurate read on Vain's power because of how rarely he shows himself and out of the two of them he was the one that inherited the semblance. He's always using that stupid thing so that makes it even harder to get an accurate read on his power," Sun said looking at the female in front of her. Weiss looked as if she was about to question him even further until she heard a voice speak.

"Now let's see what type of environment they'll be fighting in," Professor Port said as he looked at them. The digital wheels once again started to spin. When it stopped for team DIRT's half of the field it landed on a grasslands and forest. When it did some tall brown grass came up as well as a rather thick forest. Then for team SAFE's half, both parts came up as mountain area. When it did a large mountain rose from the ground.

"Now that the combatants are set let the match begin," Professor Port said looking at the field.
