Hazel's pov-

I got ready for my tacobell as fast as I could. With Ash..*I am sure he won't forbid me from taking his petname.. Well..hopefully* groaning about how late we are going to be if I don't hurry up with my getup my nerves are paining.

I mean a woman takes time to get ready but this man just won't let me do my proper makeup.

I swear my dear future husband lives to torment me.

I looked at myself in the mirror.I am wearing a black crop top and a white skirt with my cute fedora.

My tummy is not much visible now. I wonder when will that happen. I hope I look good as a whale too.I giggle when I imagine myself like that.

Oh well,I look presentable for now.

I tapped my tummy.

"Look coco,isn't mommy looking cute.Well,I hope you do not think I'm being modest but I do love myself. But hey,no worries because once you come here I will make sure you will just be the best baby ever and you know what.. You won't even have to try because you already are one.My little coconut."

"Are you not done yet?Please woman hurry up.I have a day off today just for your shopping because apparently Miss Vanderbilt also wanted to see the wedding venue and do the cake tasting. I swear I want it all to be done today because I have a lot of work to do and I won't take another day off before the wedding after today."

He looked very serious as he ranted and ranted.

"Jeez you're such a spoil sport.I was talking to coco.You dare interrupt mommy's and coco's time but then you are taking me for shopping.So I forgive you."

I smiled at him and took my bag and walked past him.

He just looked at me with a dead-panned expression.

"Now why are you looking at me like that?Let's go.Weren't we getting late?"

Serves him right. I will behave like a spoilt brat with him now.

He always insults me.Pay back is a bitch.

"You're unbelievable. Let's go and the baby is not going to be called coco."
He just glared at me as we moved to his car.

"We'll see.Coco,Coco,Coco!!He will be called Coco."

I glared back at him as I fastened the seat belt.

"Nope.Nope.Nope.Not Coco!!!And don't be too sure.We still don't know the gender. It can be a she too."

"I know it's a he.Call it a mother's intuition."

I mocked him.

"Well I don't trust YOUR intuition."

He just said and started the car.Jerk.

"Well you will become a laughing stock of mine when you will get to see the thingy of our baby in the ultrasound when we find out the gender.I will make sure to mock you more."

"Yeah sure.Nutcase!"

He whispered.

"I heard that."

I shouted.

"You were supposed to hear that and I'm driving.Don't disturb me or else both of us will see heaven's gate.Oh I mean I will see the heaven's gate and you will..haha.Hell!"

"How.."

I was about the word vomit at him but a stupid phone call interrupted me.

Elsa started singing through the ring tone..

"Let it go..

Let it go..."

Ashton just looked at me amused.

"What!don't give me that look.I happen to like Frozen."

He just shook his head and ignored me.

Jerk.

I looked at the caller ID.It was Cody.Oh well,my one of the favourite person in the world.

"Hey dude."

Who will say that I'm talking to my aunt's husband.Well,we share a very weird relationship. He's my mental state advisor..if you even know what that means.

"Don't dude me Hazel.I am waiting at the damn bakery for one hour and I swear I've had like so many pasteries because the bloody owner keeps glaring at me.I swear he will throw me out in just another minute.Where the hell are you and Ashton?"

"Dude.Take a chill pill.And whoever gets annoyed over eating pasteries.I will be overjoyed."

"Yeah.Say that after you have to eat an alovera flavoured cake."

Not baddddd.

What the hell.Pregnancy cravings.

So weird.

"OK OK.We'll be there Asap.Just eat something. Bye."

"More..no.."

Before he could say something I disconnected the call. I mean..he will scold me.

One Ashton is enough.

"That was Cody?"

"Yeah.He's waiting for us."

"Well,he wouldn't have had to wait if we were there on time but miss i-take-my-time had to take an extra hour for getting ready."

He mocked.

"Whatever ."

I didn't want to say anything. He's such an arrogant person.

But only with me.I gave myself a pout at this.

Why is he so mean with me?

Because of highschool.

My inner self replied.

I wish I wasn't a bitch back then.

But  I was one and now I'm trying to improve that. Well it will take time.

I sighed and looked out of the window.

We had stopped because of traffic.

I looked at the car beside us.

There was a little baby in the car in it's booster seat. He was sleeping.

While his mummy was driving.

Geez.He's so cute.That will be me and my baby in a few months.

I smile at the thought.

I touched my stomach and smiled.

"Hazel.."

I looked at Ash who had broken the silence.

"What?"

"Nothing."

He didn't say anything.

Weird dude.

I wonder what he had to say.

Ashton's pov-

I kept driving and thinking.

Hazel currently had her ear phones on as she listened to some music.

I remember the moment when I saw her gazing at the baby in the car that was beside us.

The way she looked at the baby was something else. It was pure adoration. The sparkle in her eyes and the smile.

God,that smile was so serene.

She looked like a real mother.

Well,she is a real mother to be but come on it's Hazel.

She can't be the typical mother.All she cares about it superficial stuff.Handling a baby is not her thing.

But what I witnessed today just surprised me.

When she touched her stomach and smiled;I felt as if she was waiting for the baby to arrive as soon as possible.

Like she imagined herself playing and loving our kid like any normal excited mom to be.

Was I wrong about her?Is she really changed.

These contrasting thoughts that I suddenly have about her are bothering me a lot.

Damn.

"Stop.Stop.Ashton we are already at the bakery. Where the hell are you taking us?"

Hazel gave me a shake as she glared at me .

I realised we were about to cross the damn bakery.

"I am sorry.I was just lost in thought. I am sorry."

Without giving her a chance to question or mock me I got out of the car.

I need air.Fuck it all.

She got out of the car and gave me a weird look.

"And he says I'm weird."

She scoffed and went inside.

That;for some reason made me laugh. Loudly.

A man looked at me weirdly.

"What? Not seen a guy laughing before."

I shouted.

He just looked scared and got in his car and drove away.

Geez.I am really behaving weird.Am not I?

I shook my head and moved inside.

I need to get a grip before I go totally mental.

And to think..Hazel Rose Vanderbilt just entered my life again two weeks ago.

I wonder what the coming time has in store for me.
