After a heated up fight with Aisha and later resolving their differences by a hot passionate kissing but not ending up in bed, Arjun returned home after sorting out everything with her.

He walked straight to his bedroom.

"OK I'll be there. Thank you."Radhika was talking over phone with somebody.

When she saw Arjun entering, she sprinted to him and spoke," I want to tell you something. "

He dismissed her," I am not interested, Radhika. "

"Still I want to tell you. I am going for for a job interview tomorrow. I am sure I'll do my best. What you think?!" She chirped, happiness clearly evident on her face.

"OK do what you want to do. I don't care its your life. I'll appoint a driver for you who'll take you wherever you want to go and drop you back here. Just be safe." He replied in a monotonous tone.

After the fight with Aisha, he realized he was feeling drawn towards Radhika and that wasn't right at all. No doubt she was beautiful and no man could ever turn his head away from her. But he didn't wanted to mess up his relationship with Aisha more than it was already messed up. So he decided to keep away from Radhika and indeed it took every bit of his will power to not pay heed to that beautiful Aphrodite.

On the other hand, Radhika felt tiny bit of hurt in her heart when he showed no interest in her career. She wanted to be encouraged but he didn't do any of that. He didn't even wanted to look at her face. She wondered if she did anything wrong?! But then her ego and attitude pushed away that remorseful feelings.

She narrowed her eyes at the sleeping muscular form of Arjun and shrieked, " Fine!! Ignore me even I am not dying to talk to you."

He rolled his eyes inside his pillow and let the sleep take over.

In the middle of night, he heard someone moaning in a melodious sound unknown to mankind. He lifted his head up and switched on the lamp kept on the side table.

There she was sitting on that large couch with her legs crossed and a big bucket of ice cream in her hand. She was shoving the spoonful of ice cream in her mouth and relishing every bit of it, she would moan time to time. He felt jealous of that spoon and that ice cream for they knew the taste of those soft rose petals which he felt like knowing.

He straightened up and threaded towards her. He sat beside her and spoke,"Is this time to eat ice cream?!"

She ignored him and continued devouring her sweet desert. He got annoyed seeing that she wasn't replying to him.

He gritted his teeth,"I am talking to you, Radhika. "

She forwarded the spoonful of ice cream to him,"Want some?!"

He shook his head,"No I don't eat sweet things. They are too high on calories."

She shrugged her hands in air,"Your loss later don't tell me I didn't ask you."

"You'll become fat if you keep gulping down buckets of ice cream." He spoke in a humor filled tone.

"No I won't and about eating ice cream then you don't know but ice cream is my first love. I don't care if I become fat but I can't give up my first love."She gave a dramatic answer.

He rolled his eyes and snatched the bucket," Enough now. You romance your first love tomorrow. "

She tried to pull the bucket towards her but he was three times her size so all her efforts were down the drain. Soon there began a tug of war between them but a last none won only the ice cream lost as it pooled down on the floor.

Radhika started crying,"You threw my ice cream on the floor. You were jealous that you couldn't eat and I was eating it."

Arjun blinked in surprise, "What!!! I was jealous of you!! I told you to let go but you were applying all your strength as if I was wrestling with you."

She looked down at the liquid sauce of once in the bucket ice cream and signed,"My ice cream!!! I am sorry I couldn't save you from this devil."

He laughed, "You are impossible!! You are talking to that melted ice cream. I never met someone as stupid as you."

Radhika got really very angry now and she marched to Arjun like a parading shoulder in armour and screeched,"You stupid!!! Everything you do is stupidly. You were a stupid fellow in your last birth too In fact you should have been named stupid instead of Arjun. I wish I had some permanent marker right now. I would have written stupid on your forehead in bold letters."

She stomped her foot on the floor,"STUPID!!!"

Arjun burst in to fits of laughter. He swear his stomach ached as he  laughed harder and harder setting himself free letting all the walls he had build around himself collapse.  He went back to sleep after paying a last glance to her beautiful angelic face.

He woke up at 7:30 as usual but His eyes widen, seemingly astonished at the heart stopping sight before him. Her dark eyes drink every inch of the pure, untainted, bewitchingly beautiful fine specimen of maidenhood. She was sure to become the fantasy of every men she met once she stepped out in that cream colour dress which looked so exquisite on her. And that thought made him clench his jaw hard and his muscles tensed against his white shirt.

He asked through clenched teeth,"What did you fill in that relationship status column?!"

She turned around, surprised by his question and asked in a bored tone,"Isn't that oblivious?! "

He gritted his teeth,"I want a answer not a question in return of a question."

She exclaimed loudly irritatingly,"MARRIED!!!  Anything else you want to interrogate?!"

"NO!" He harshly stated.

The beeping sound of his phone on the side table distracted him from her. He reached for his phone and answered the call.

He strolled over to the balcony across the glass pane and talked for about two minutes and came back.

"Radhika don't go for the job interview. If you really want to work. Then work in my company." He spoke as he stood behind her looking at her who was combing her stresses.

She turned around and glared fiercely,"Arjun what makes you think that I'll ever listen to you?! Listen I am really grateful to you for whatever you have done for me but that doesn't means you have the power to rule over me. And if you are going to say that you are protecting me then let me remind you this arrangement is only going to lasts for one year. You are not my husband and you have no right to take care of me."

That was it. She hit the nerve. He pushed her towards the mirror and held her shoulders tightly bragging his nails in her soft flesh. She winced in pain and tears pooled in her eyes.

He stated in a hard tone, "I can take care of you whole life. Husband or not. Doesn't matters. You are something that should be protected and I will do everything and anything to keep you safe."

"Why?!" She asked in a low clipped tone which was barely a whisper.

"Because I want to because I..."He paused and kicked himself mentally because he was going to blurt out that he cared for her. He continued," Because you are precious to mom and dad and I take care of everything which my mom and dad are attached to."

She turned her face away and sadly signed,"Thanks for making me realize that I am a asset for you. I thought we were friends."

His gaze icy cold and hostile,"Radhika I have some really high standards. You can never be my friend. Let me make one thing clear, I am neither your husband nor your friend."

She scoffed,"Then stop acting like one. Once this years ends I'll go away from your life and you can start afresh."

He leaned closer and kissed her forehead shocking her to the core. She stood dumbstruck, astonished and surprised with her eyes closed.

He spoke in a velvety soft tone, "Take good care of yourself and give me a call if there is any problem."

He backed off and walked backwards not turning his back to her. When she opened her eyes, He was gone. She traced the place where he kissed her and irrevocably her lips curved in to a smile.

Sorry for short update. Not keeping well and couldn't write much but updated though.

My Answer: For example, If you like a blooming beautiful rose, you'll pluck it and try to make yourself happy and thus you won't anyone else to admire its beauty and also shorten its life. But if you love the rose. You'll let it grow and bring smile on faces of others like it brought on yours.

2) Do you even get smitten by all beautiful people or things you come across in your life?!

4) Do you think Arjun likes Radhika or its more than that?!

6) If he likes her then what it is all about?! Lust or something else?!
