Chapter 4

The door swings open, and Aizawa enters the common room followed by the six students. As they step inside, they're met with the sight of twenty students gathered around the room. Some are lounging on the couches, others on the floor, and a few are standing and leaning against the furniture.

"Kids, these six are exchange students who will be staying with us for a while," Aizawa announces, gesturing towards the newcomers. "Behave, treat them well, and remember, you are representing U.A. to them, so I expect you to be on your best behavior." His gaze sweeps over his class with a stern warning.

Among the students, Shoto's eyes widen as he lays eyes on Setsuko—she's the spitting image of his mother! And Hato bears a striking resemblance to Touya-nii.

"The class presidents, Iida and Yaoyorozu, will be showing you to your rooms," Aizawa continues, then gives the six teens a final look that conveys a clear message: "Don't let anyone know." With that, he exits the room.

Iida and Yaoyorozu rise from their seats and approach the newcomers. "Nice to meet you. My name is Iida Tenya; you can call me Iida. I'm the class president," Iida introduces himself with a formal nod. "And this is Momo Yaoyorozu, the vice class president."

Yaoyorozu offers them a warm smile. "Nice to meet you all. You can just call me Momo; it's easier than always saying Yaoyorozu," she explains with a gentle laugh.

"It's a pleasure to meet you as well. I'm Itsuki," Itsuki introduces herself, and her friends follow suit.

"I'm Shosuke, Itsuki's twin brother," Shosuke adds.

"I'm Hikki!" Hikki chimes in enthusiastically, nudging Kazumi, who responds with a grunt. "Kazumi," she mutters.

"I'm Setsuko," Setsuko introduces herself.

"I'm Hato," Hato concludes the introductions with a polite nod.

Iida and Momo exchange puzzled glances when the exchange students refrain from providing their last names, but they quickly brush off the confusion and nod in understanding.

Momo claps her hands together. "Alright, now that introductions are out of the way, let us show you to your rooms. Please follow me; you must be exhausted."

"I'll show Hato and Shosuke around, and Momo will show Setsuko, Hikki, Kazumi, and Itsuki around," Iida explains, motioning for his classmates to follow as they pass by the excited students. Midoriya, Todoroki, and Kaminari, in particular, seem bursting with questions.

Once shown to their rooms, Momo and Iida, along with the rest of Class 1-A, retreat to their own quarters.

The twins' room is to the left of Midoriya's, while Shoto's is to Midoriya's right. Opposite Shoto's room are Setsuko and Hato's, and Kazumi's room is adjacent to Bakugou's, with Kirishima's on the other side. Hikki's room is next to Kaminari's.

After resting for a bit, the six meet in the twins' room. They gather on the beds, discussing their next steps.

"We have to be careful; we cannot let anything slip," Hato says, giving Shosuke a stern look.

Shosuke averts his gaze shyly. "What are you glaring at me for...?"

Itsuki groans in annoyance. "You're the worst at keeping secrets, brother," she remarks, prompting a resigned sigh from Shosuke.

"We need to figure out when exactly we are as well," Kazumi points out.

"What good would that do? Our parents barely tell us anything about their past, especially mine and Hato's," Setsuko adds, with Hato nodding in agreement.

Hikki shrugs. "I think it's a good idea. At least this way, maybe we can find out more about their past."

"But isn't that like an invasion of privacy?" Shosuke asks. "I mean, they must have their reasons to keep stuff from us, right?"

"True..." Itsuki agrees.

"Well, I want to know anyway," Setsuko says, determined. Just then, there's a knock on the door.

"Shosuke, Itsuki? It's Todoroki, I've been told to get you for dinner," Shoto's voice calls from the other side.

Shosuke perks up at the sound of his father's voice. "Come in, da—" Before he can finish, Itsuki pinches him.

The door opens, and Shoto steps in. "Oh, all of you are here. Well then, come on," he says, leading the way downstairs. Everyone follows, taking their seats at the large dinner table.

Just then, Kirishima and Kaminari come racing into the common room, looking panicked. They start talking at the same time, sounding rather stressed.

"Guys! I can't find Kazumi/Hikki! She's not in her room, and—oh, there you are," Kirishima says, spotting Kazumi.

Bakugou huffs annoyed as he exits the kitchen, carrying food, with Midoriya helping him carry drinks and glasses. Kirishima sits down next to Bakugou, grinning brightly, and Kazumi takes her seat across from him. Hikki is next to her, and across from her to Kirishima's left is Kaminari.

Just after everyone gives their thanks for the food, questions explode out of Midoriya like a waterfall of words.

"What school do you guys go to? What years are you in? How long will you be staying? What are your quirks? Hato, is your quirk like Haw—"

"Shut up, nerd!" Bakugou interrupts loudly.

"Sorry, Kacchan..." Midoriya replies sheepishly.

Kirishima smiles sheepishly. "Sorry about Midoriya, he starts to ramble like that when he's excited."

"Shosuke does the same," Itsuki says with a chuckle.

"Don't feel pressured to answer any questions you don't want to," Momo reassures the time travelers.

Thankfully, the topic quickly changes.

"Todoroki, how is Endeavor, by the way?" Ochako asks worriedly.

"Yeah, he got injured pretty badly by that Nomu," Tsuyu adds.

"That fight was so scary. But Endeavor was so manly, still standing despite having gotten so wounded!" Kirishima says, a bit teary-eyed.

Hato and Setsuko try their best not to scowl at hearing that.

"To answer your question, Ochako, it sounds like he's not in serious condition," Shoto responds.

"You can be proud of your dad, huh, Todoroki?" Mina asks.

Midoriya glances at Shoto worriedly. Shosuke and Itsuki do the same, albeit more subtly. He seems to contemplate his answer for a while.

"Yeah... that's true," Todoroki finally responds with a soft smile.

Everyone continues chatting while eating. A few hours later, everyone goes to bed.

The twins have trouble falling asleep at first. Once they finally do, they are awoken in the middle of the night by the sound of a window shattering.

They shoot up and out of their beds, racing into the hallway to find Shoto already frantically knocking on Midoriya's door.

"Midoriya! Midoriya, are you alright? Can you hear me? Izuku?!"

"Todoroki! What happened?" Shosuke asks, his voice filled with concern.

Todoroki doesn't seem to notice the twins in his worried state and kicks the door open.

"Izuku!" His eyes widen as he finds him hyperventilating on the bed, the balcony door shattered to pieces.

"T-Todoroki?"

"Hey, it's okay. I'm here," Shoto says, slowly walking towards the frightened boy and sitting down next to him on the bed.

The twins stand in the doorway, unsure of what to do, watching as Midoriya cuddles into Shoto's side. Shosuke's eyes widen, feeling a bit uncomfortable seeing Shoto in such an unfamiliar situation. Itsuki nudges him, silently encouraging him to offer support.

Shoto, feeling a bit awkward but understanding the situation, cautiously puts his arm around Midoriya, offering a comforting embrace. Midoriya gradually calms down, the tension in his body easing as he relaxes into Shoto's embrace.

The dual-haired boy looks to the twins for guidance, silently asking for their help. They nod subtly, encouraging him to reciprocate the hug. Shoto hesitates at first but then gently returns the hug, though he still seems a little stiff.

Slowly but surely, Midoriya's breathing steadies, and the panic begins to fade. He blushes bright red when he realizes how close they are, but Shoto reassures him with a comforting smile, easing the tension.

Midoriya expresses his gratitude for Shoto's help, and with reassurance from the twins, they all eventually return to bed, hoping for a peaceful rest.

Meanwhile, in Hawks' apartment...

"Dabi... no, Touya?" Keigo whispers as he hears his... well, he's not quite sure what to call him. "Boyfriend" seems too formal, and "fuck buddy" too crude. Perhaps somewhere in between?

Touya enters through the balcony door, which Keigo always leaves open for him.

"What birdbrain?" Touya asks as he settles down next to Keigo, wrapping his arms around him.

"I need to tell you something," Keigo says, his voice tinged with uncertainty, a slight quiver betraying his nerves.

"What is it?"

"... nothing. Forget it," Keigo quickly dismisses, turning away from Touya, his back now facing him. Touya huffs in annoyance but doesn't press further.

Under the covers, Keigo gently caresses his stomach. It's a secret he's been holding onto, uncertain of how Touya will react. After all, this development changes everything.

(A/n: I know this might be confusing, but bear with me! This story is different from my other time-travel book. Here, in the present, Hawks is three months pregnant, whereas in the other book, Hato was already two months old during the Endeavor internship. The two stories are separate, not the same!)

(A/n 2: Please don't forget to comment; I would greatly appreciate some feedback!)
