Part Six

Talking to Jazmine was a pleasant experience for Jimin, mostly because he did not know nor did he realize Jazmine's intentions with him at all. He didn't know who she was and had no reason to believe that she wasn't just a nice girl wanting to talk to him. After all, it's not as if Yoongi told him anything about his ex-girlfriend, having doubts that they would even run into each other in this big city. But of course, even in a big city you can run into the people that you don't want to or shouldn't see the most.

"Can I have your number? I'm sorry, it's just that you're a really nice guy and I would love to get to know you better," Jazmine was looking at him with puppy eyes, but those eyes had a plan behind them. Jimin, not wanting to be rude, nods, writing down his number on a slip of paper and gives it to her, smiling a little. He wasn't exactly into her, but he figured if she did text them that they could be friends. Jazmine smiles happily and immediately begins putting it in her phone before the bus stops around the corner of the coffee shop, being Jimin's cue to exit the bus. He gets up to leave, much to Jazmine's dismay. "Maybe we could hang out sometime?" He looks down at her and nods, again not wanting to be rude. "Sure, yeah that sounds alright," A smile appears back on her face. "Great, I'll text you. Bye," He gives her a small wave and gets off of the bus.

Now that he was off the bus, his nerves had returned to him. The shop was right around the corner, where he was going to meet the guy that had accidentally showed Jimin his manhood. This wasn't just a meetup, it was a date. And Jimin felt absolutely rusty. He didn't know what he was going to say, how he was going to react. Hell, he didn't even know if Yoongi was going to be hot or not. He debated if he should just go back to his grandmother's and cancel, but he couldn't just do that. He made it all the way here, so he might as well see it through. He looks at the time, 11:20, and smiles, glad that he wasn't late but reasonably early. He wanted to get a good spot in the shop, hoping to beat any crowd that decided to come in. Maybe Yoongi was already there waiting for him. His nerves rise up again, but he pushes them down and walks around the block, his legs feeling like jello when he sees the "Sweet Brew Coffee" sign hanging by a door. He gathers himself before walking through the door, a bell above him tinkling as the door opens.

He had always wanted to come to this place and he could already tell he would be coming back. It was a medium-sized coffee shop and it felt as if he had walked straight back into his grandmother's house. It had that homey feeling to it and the smell of baked goods and coffee were making it no better. He scanned the room, wondering if Yoongi is one of the people sitting alone at the tables or booths. He pulls out his phone and texts him just to be sure

Jimin: Hey!! I made it to Sweet Brew, are you here? 💕

It takes a few seconds, but he hears his phone ding.

Yoongi: Oh wow you are an early bird huh? No, i'm not there yet, but I will be soon. Is it packed in there?

Jimin: only a little, but i can find us a spot don't worry 😉

Yoongi: good, what do you look like so that I know it's you?

Jimin: I'm the only person in this entire place with orange hair, I shouldn't be too hard to spot!

Yoongi: Bet, i'll see you soon. I won't be late I promise

Jimin: you better not, first impressions are everything 🥰

Yoongi: oh I know, see you

Jimin: i'll be waiting! 💕

Jimin smiles to himself as he sits down at a table for two, picking up the menu and looking through it. Even though he was nervous, he was also excited to meet him. He pushed the thoughts of him being a serial killer or a catfish away and tried to stay positive. He sounded like he was a genuinely nice guy. Maybe this would turn out for the better? Maybe they would hit it off and become friends. Maybe even more? Jimin couldn't even remember the last time he had been in a long term relationship. It had been quite a while, he knew that much. Maybe Yoongi would be someone that he could be with? Perhaps he was getting way ahead of himself. He didn't want to conjure up something in his head that might not even come true.

Every time the bell at the door would ding, Jimin would turn and look. He felt awkward every time he did it, feeling as if everyone knew he was waiting on someone. Any time he looked, it would never be Yoongi. It would be someone way younger, older, different gender, or same age but different agenda. He looks back at the menu, focusing on the food instead of the bell, hoping that he could be distracted enough to calm down. Yoongi would be here, he didn't live that far so he shouldn't take that long, right?

The bell dings a couple more times, but Jimin had fully engrossed himself in the menu. He couldn't decide if he wanted something sweet or savory to go along with his coffee. Should he get a pastry, a sandwich, some soup, or all three? "Excuse me, are you Jimin?" a voice asks from behind him. Jimin turns around to look, his mind filled with food options, his heart stopping immediately when he sees the person before him. A tall guy, around the same height as him, was standing there, with mint green hair. He had on a fully black outfit as well as a black leather jacket. In Jimin's eyes, he was absolutely handsome. "Yoongi?" Jimin asks quietly, not sure if this guy was really him. But, he did ask for Jimin by name so it had to be. The guy smiles. "Yeah, it's me,"Jungkook would have a fit when Jimin told him just how hot this guy was.

Jimin smiles brightly and gestures to the chair across from him. Yoongi sits down and looks at Jimin from across the table. "It's nice to finally meet you, even though it has been a couple of days that we've been talking right?" Jimin nods. "Yeah it's coming up on a week I believe, the quickest that I've ever been asked on a date," Yoongi raises an eyebrow and laughs softly. "Wasn't it you who suggested that I ask you on a date in the first place?" Jimin shrugs and smirks "Who me? No, I don't exactly remember that at all," This was going good already, Jimin had to admit. Yoongi couldn't be a catfish and no serial killer would just waltz into a coffee shop this willingly. He had a stroke of luck today, hopefully it would stay this way.

"I just wanted to say that you look good, I couldn't just sit here and not say that to you," Yoongi looks up from the menu at Jimin and smirks, letting his eyes glide over him for a second. "Don't give me all the glory, you're a lovely sight for the eyes as well. I love your glasses," Jimin couldn't help but blush. Yoongi had a way with his words. Yoongi looks up at Jimin after a while of them both looking at the menu. "Do you know what you might want?" Jimin sighs and shakes his head. "Everything looks so good. I really want some cake, but the soup looks good as well. And then the sandwiches look amazing also. I'm very indecisive," Yoongi laughs and smiles. "If you want, I can choose for you. Is there anything that you don't want?" Jimin looks at the menu again and shakes his head. "Everything would be good," Yoongi nods and heads up to the front to place their order, not wanting a waiter so that Jimin would hear his mystery order out loud.

He comes back with the receipt and Jimin sneaks a peak at the total. "I could have helped you pay," Yoongi looks at him and shakes his head. "I wouldn't have let you anyway. You're my date, I'd never let you pay for yourself, no matter the price," Another green flag from this guy, Jimin was starting to get impressed. He gave good compliments and he paid the entire bill. He wasn't exactly used to this type of treatment, factoring in his failed relationships. Some were nice, others were definitely not. Yoongi was passing Jimin's expectations with flying colors and they weren't even in a relationship.

"So, tell me about you," Jimin starts, trying to make light conversation. "I want to know at least a little bit about the person who sent me his marvelous dick," He gently places his chin in the palm of his hand to watch Yoongi, who smiles over at him. "Well, there isn't that much to me. I grew up in this city and I graduated high school last year. I've taken the year off to just figure out what I really want to do with my life. I thought about going to college for music, which is my passion, but I haven't decided if that is the route I want to take. I thought about just building myself up as a music artist independently, but I could always change my mind," Jimin nods and smiles, "I can admire that. I as well have a thing for music, but I don't know if that's the route that I want to go. That's one thing I have to figure out, what I want to do with my life,"

A waitress comes over to their table, a tray in her hand. She smiles at the both of them. "Hello, who ordered the pizza bagel, chocolate chip muffin, and the black coffee?" Yoongi smiles, "That would be me," She sets all of his food down before turning to Jimin. "And you must have ordered the bacon, ham, and avocado sandwich, red velvet cookies and the pumpkin spice latte," Jimin smiles and thanks her as she sets his food down at the table and leaves. He looks over towards Yoongi, narrowing his eyes a little. "How did you know I like pumpkin spice?" Yoongi shrugs and gives him a sly smile. "Just a hunch,"

Jimin takes a sip of his latte as Yoongi digs into his bagel, allowing Jimin to take in the features of his date. Yoongi had small bags under his eyes, which told Jimin he either slept too much or too little. He could see the hint of a tattoo poking up out of his shirt, but wouldn't be able to see it fully unless Yoongi was shirtless, which didn't seem like a bad sight to him at all. Yoongi also has studs in his ears that gleamed a little from the lights in the shop. Jimin lets his eyes travel to his leather jacket as well as his close fitting black shirt, giving the soft outline of abs underneath. Jimin could only imagine what those would feel like. He didn't even try to convince himself that thinking this way about Yoongi was wrong. Yoongi was hot. And Jimin was absolutely a fan of hot people.

"Done staring?"Jimin jumps a little bit and looks up, his glasses nearly falling off as he is met with a smirking Yoongi. He chuckles while Jimin straightens himself out and pushes his glasses back up, blushing a little. "Sorry..I um..I just.." He couldn't form any words, causing Yoongi's smirk to widen. "Flustered hm?.. That's okay, I understand," Jimin looks down at his food, suddenly interested in his sandwich as Yoongi continues to laugh quietly. Jimin silently cursed Yoongi for having this effect on him already. He had just met him and he was already letting Yoongi have his way with his emotions. He hasn't felt this way ever. Nobody has had this type of effect on him before. This was new, and Jimin didn't know whether to be excited or afraid.

"I've told you about me, why don't you tell me about you?" Yoongi smiles up at him, taking a swig of his coffee. "You said you were visiting your grandmother here right?" Jimin nods, taking a bite of his sandwich, filing away in his head that he needs to come back and ask for this sandwich again. "I always visit her around this time in the school year, except this time it's more stressful with graduation around the corner. Thankfully, I don't have that much work to do and it's simple stuff that I can get done online. When it gets close to graduation, we'll both take a train back to Busan. But even after visiting her for all this time, I have not once gone and explored Daegu. I've been to a couple of places, but I could still get lost here," Yoongi nods slowly as he finishes his sandwich and starts on his muffin. "Understandable. Not knowing your way around here could easily get you turned around,"

When they both finish all of their food items, Yoongi looks at his phone for the time. "Well, it's nearing 1:30," Jimin nods and smiles. "Do you want to hang out more? It's been nice being with you," Yoongi's eyes grow a little and he smiles. "Can't get enough of me? Going to stare at me for as long as you can?" Jimin blushes and starts to protest. "That's not fair! You can't just bring that up again!" Yoongi laughs, standing up from the table. "Come on, let's go have some more fun. The day just started," Jimin gives him a soft glare, earning him a chuckle as he follows Yoongi out of the shop, his blush never fading.

Throughout the entire day, Yoongi showed Jimin his favorite places to go as well as a few landmarks. He took him to his favorite park where he went to get inspiration for music, a small corner store along the way where he bought Jimin some sunglasses that he liked as well as a souvenir. Then, around dinner time they decided upon Panda Express, having a few laughs and jokes here and there, just getting to know one another. Then when the sun finally began to set, Jimin led Yoongi back to his grandmother's house, stopping in front of the front door. Yoongi smiles as they stop. "You know, I actually live just two blocks from here," Jimin's eyes widen, smiling widely. "I told you! I told you we're probably blocks away from each other and didn't even know! Maybe you could come over tomorrow.." Yoongi smirks a little, "Oh I will. Why wouldn't I want to see you again?" Jimin immediately blushes again, Yoongi's smirk widening. "I'll see you tomorrow Jimin," Jimin nods and smiles, watching him leave, not wanting to go inside until he was a speck in the distance.

He had had a great time with him. It had been a while since Jimin had had that much fun. He didn't think that meeting Yoongi would have caused him to have one of the best days that he had ever had. He felt as if he hadn't just met Yoongi, like he had known him for a long time. There was something about him that just drew Jimin in and he couldn't put his finger on what it was. Sure he had seen his manhood, that was just one plus. But there was something else there, maybe a spark, that he had never known he had been missing.

He walks into the house and sees his grandmother sitting on the couch knitting a sweater. "Hi grandma!" She looks up at him and smiles. "Jiminie! Come and sit, I want to hear all about your date, even if it takes all night," Jimin laughs and sits down, not knowing how he was going to tell her that he was out with a guy all day and had the time of his life.

"So, Jiminie, you're bisexual aren't you?"

Jimin whips around to look at his grandmother, wide-eyed. "How did you..,"

She laughs softly and looks up at him. "Well, next time you lead someone here, just remember that I always have a window open to see and hear everything,"
