Juvias POV
As we swam though the sea, Juvia kept glancing back at Gray-sama worried. Juvia looked back around and our eyes met.

"What's wrong?" He asked swimming up to her.

"N-nothing" Juvia said as she continued to swim. She glanced back once again to find him gone.

"G-gray-sama?!" Juvia yelled panicked as she swam in a circle. She swam around and check the rocks, calling for him at every turn. Where are you? She thought as she continued to yell his name.

"Hey calm down" he said showing up in front of her.

"Are you ok?" Juvia questioned searching his face.

"Yeah I found this pearl down there and I... Never mind" he said looking into Juvias eyes as guilt filled his.

"Ok" Juvia said as she kept swimming.

"Juvia do you..." He said as he grabbed Juvias arm, trailing off.

"Gray-sama?" Juvia asked looking him in the eyes.

"I'm sorry"

Grays POV
I was swimming with Juvia when I caught her staring at me.

"What's wrong?" I asked swimming up to her.

"N-nothing" she said unconvincingly. Before I could ask her more, a strong force pulled me downward. Once I got my balance I looked around to see that I was surrounded by sharkmen.

"You, I've never seen you in this part of the ocean. Speak" one guy commanded as he glared at me with his crimson red eyes.

"I was um... Escorting the princess from her hidden place to the dungeon?" I said unsure of the answer. They looked up to find Juvia looking around and yelling.

"With out a rope?" He asked questioning my methods.

"Well I didn't need one, she was stupid enough to fall in love with me" I said wanting to choke myself for the harsh words that came from my mouth.

"Good work guppie" he said with a smirk as the men swam her way. I'm sorry Juvia I thought as I swam with them. I looked down and spotted something shining in the water. I picked up the pearl and continued with them.

"Hey calm down" I said showing up in front of her.

"Are you ok?" She asked inspecting my face.

"Yeah I found this pearl down there and... Never mind" I said with guilt in my voice as I watched the others get into position.

"Ok" she said and continued to swim. I grabbed her arm and looked at her.

"Juvia do you..." I said as I just wanted to swim away with her and keep her safe but in doing so they would know that we're coming.

"Gray-sama?" She questioned looking into my eyes, her baby blues filling with worry.

"I'm sorry" was all I could say as they threw ropes around her. She struggled as her tail whipped around, trying to break free.

"Haha oh you're a cruel one. I mean, making someone fall in love with you just so you could bring her in? Your a true shark my boy" the shark said as he patted my back.

"Gray-sama?" She questioned me as I looked down.

"Aw Gray-sama you said you loved her" he said in a mocking tone as he laughed.

"I trusted you!" Juvia yelled as she thrashed around.

"What did you call her? Stupid I believe, you were right" he said as Juvias eyes went red. The guards swam her to the jail as the boss named dead meat swam beside me like a proud dad. This is kinda nice I thought as we talked for a while.

"Why were her eyes red?" I asked curious of the reason.

"Mermaids are very strong creature who barely cry, laugh or show emotion. When her eyes go red it means she was mad and I mean mad" he said as he swam and opened the prison door and the guards threw her in.

"We're going to go have a feast thanks to your hard work, care to join mr guest of honour?" He asked as he looked over his shoulder.

"Yeah give me a minute" I said swimming to the prison door.

"Juvia?" I asked as she glared at me.

"I'm sorry" I mumbled swimming off. But I have a plan
