Chapter 14 - The Moody Boss

Joshua's POV

As she bent down and pointed to the last part of the contract, her vanilla scent filled my nostrils, blowing my mind. I was barely holding myself from bending her over my desk and take her from behind. Everything about her was a call to lust.

"Don't wear this perfume again," I demanded as I closed the file after examining the contract as much as possible in her presence.

"Why?" she asked, puzzled, furrowing her eyebrows as she straightened.

"Because I don't want you to wear it," I replied nonchalantly.

"I like its scent, and you can't order me which perfume I should wear or not," she stated, annoyed and folded her arms over her chest.

"I can," I objected in an authoritative tone.

Especially when your perfume doesn't let me think straight.

"You are my boss. As much as I know a boss can't intervene their employee's perfume choice," she commented bitterly.

"But your husband can," I said cockily and gave her a sly smirk.

"You can't intervene in my perfume choices. Neither as my boss nor as my husband. You have no right," she stated angrily.

"Then I will use my other right and take my wife here, on my desk till I get satisfied," I commented devilishly and bit my lower lip seductively, undressing her with my eyes.

Her eyes widened in surprise. She gulped nervously and pressed her legs together without managing to say anything. I smirked, self-satisfied.

"You can't do it," she said warily and shook her head.

"Try me, babe. If you wear this seductive perfume of yours and come to my office again, you will leave my room sore," I informed her provocatively and bit my lower lip, looking at my wife. Her cheeks flushed instantly.

Celeste gulped nervously, ruffling her hair as she averted her gaze. I smirked, amused.

She cleared her throat and threatened me arrogantly. "Don't get on my nerves, Joshua. Don't forget I am a lawyer. And despite the fact, I am not happy about it, but I am your wife as well. So be careful and don't make me angry. Otherwise, when we divorce, I can take everything from you and leave you only in your boxers, penniless. So stop annoying me. You will regret it," she warned me, irritated.

I smirked wickedly and commented devilishly. "You don't need to tire yourself, baby. I can take off my clothes for you, including my boxers."

Her cheeks flushed immediately and she gave me a dirty look. "Joshua!" she exclaimed, angrily.

"Yes, babe? Are you impatient. Fine, I will start to take them off." I smirked smugly as I loosened my tie and started unbuttoning my shirt.

"Joshua! What the hell are you doing?" she asked in panic.

"Taking off my clothes to do my duty as your husband, satisfying my sexy wife," I replied provocatively and winked at her as I stood up.

"Joshua Sullivan! Stop this game," Celeste warned me as she barely took her eyes of my chest and took a few steps back.

"Game?  Oh... you baby, you want fantasy?! I am in." I smirked devilishly and took off my shirt.

"Joshua!" she exclaimed in panic.

"Babe, I haven't done anything yet. Wait to scream," I commented in mischief and closed the distance between us.

"Idiot!" she exclaimed angrily, and pushed me back.

I instantly grabbed her wrist and pulled her into my chest. Then I wrapped my arms around her waist and pressed her against my desk.

"So? Do you want something special? Or will you let me surprise you?" I said seductively and bit my lower lip.

"Joshua!" she exclaimed between gritted teeth.

"Celeste!" I said playfully. "Yes, wifey? Where should I kiss you first?" I asked devilishly.

"Joshua, let go off me now," she warned me, irritated, trying to push me back while her heart was pounding.

"Why? Aren't you comfortable in my arms, babe?" I asked in a flirtatious tone.

"Yes. Let go off me."

"Liar! Your body is more honest than you, Pinocchio." I smirked knowingly and buried my face into her neck, breathing in her scent. "If you don't say where I should start to kiss you, I will choose myself," I added seductively and kissed her neck.

"Joshua..." She shivered in sensation and tried to push me back. "Joshua!" she exclaimed firmly and pushed me back. This time I pulled back, giving her a sly smirk. "You? You were playing with me," she commented angrily.

"No, babe. I was demonstrating the consequences if you keep wearing this perfume," I commented nonchalantly and started buttoning my shirt. "You may leave, Mrs. Sullivan," I added in a bossy tone and gave her a devilish smirk.

"Marshall! I am Celeste Marshall," she stated, annoyed.

I raised my eyebrow. "You didn't tell me you wanted to use your maiden surname as well, wifey. Even if you want to use both of our surnames, I am fine with it. Celeste Marshall Sullivan doesn't suit bad, but for me you are Mrs. Sullivan, wifey." I winked at her.

She clenched her fist, giving me a dirty look. "Till we get divorce. By the way, when will we get divorced?" she asked dryly.

"I have told you before. I have to handle paparazzi. I think you don't want anyone to find about our marriage as well," I replied nonchalantly while trying to hide my annoyance. Why was she insisting on it so much?

"Be quick then."

I clenched my teeth in irritation. "Why are you so inpatient?" I asked, giving her a questioning look.

"Because I don't want to be married to you," she replied firmly, folding her arms over her chest.

"Why?"

When she wanted to answer, my phone rang, interrupting her. I frowned and approached the desk. Her jaw clenched as she saw Rebecca's name on the screen.

"Because I hate cheaters," she said bitterly and stormed out.

Celeste's POV

I was working in my office when the door burst out open and Joshua walked in, looking devilishly handsome in his blue suit.

"Where is Robert?" he asked dryly, resting his hand in his pocket.

"He had to leave urgently. Someone called him from his child's school," I informed her.

"Is everything okay?" he asked, concerned.

Joshua interested in someone else's problems?!

Surprising!

"His daughter has a fever. His wife is in a business trip. So he has to go to the school to pick her up."

"Shit! We have a meeting," he commented and looked at his Rolex. "Fine, you will come with me then."

"What?" I asked, surprised.

He frowned and said nonchalantly. "Be downstairs in five minutes."

"But I don't know the details of the meeting. I don't even know where the contract of this meeting is. Robert didn't tell me anything about it," I informed him nervously when he was about to leave.

"You don't need to know about the details. You will just examine the contract which I have to sign. Come on. I don't have a lot of time. We have to be in the ranch in an hour."

"Ranch?" I asked, puzzled.

Joshua heaved a loud sigh and replied, annoyed. "Yes, Mr. Green is slightly weird. He never leaves his ranch. So can we go right now? Or will you keep asking questions?"

I gritted my teeth in irritation. "No, we can leave."

"Finally!" he exclaimed sarcastically and left the office without waiting for me.

"Asshole!" I mumbled under my breath as I grabbed my bag angrily and went downstairs.

As soon as he saw me, he got in his car without letting me get in the car first.

Caveman!

His driver, Mark, greeted me politely as he rushed towards me and opened the door for me.

About an hour later, we finally reached our destination. We didn't talk in the car. Joshua was acting like I wasn't in the car. I didn't understand what his problem with me was. It felt like he and Joshua from yesterday were two different people. He was super moody today.

When we got out of the car, a grey-haired man greeted us politely.

"Let me introduce our lawyer, Celeste Marshall to you, Mr. Green," Joshua said, giving him a warm smile.

"Nice to meet you, Ms. Marshall." The businessman shook my head. "Oh, I think I should call you, Mrs. Marshall," he added as he noticed my ring.

"Nice to meet you too, Mr. Green. No, you were right. I am not married," I said, ignoring Joshua's dirty look. He looked frustrated.

What was he thinking? Did he wait that I told Mr. Green that I am married to no one else, but the man who is standing next to me, the gorgeous and annoying Joshua Sullivan? He must be crazy.

"How was your trip?" he asked warmly, changing the subjects.

"Good," Joshua mumbled, looking grumpy.

Joshua and Mr. Green started walking towards the pergola while talking. I followed them in slow steps while looking around. There was a cat and her kittens playing next to the building. I smiled in amusement as two cute puppies approached the kittens and they started playing together.
