Thank you for checking out Accidentally Ever After. This is a not-so-typical fairytale retelling about a girl who literally falls into a fairytale. This is something I'm writing for fun and I hope you like it!

Please note that this is a first draft. I will be posting as I write each chapter, so there will most likely be some errors here and there. This story is also a new adult romance. Although there will be no explicit scenes, there will be themes such as sex, violence, alcohol use, and profanity.

When Ella falls into a magic portal, she finds herself as the main character in a fairytale she thought she knew.

Ella Jean has always had bad luck. From losing her keys, to freak accidents constantly getting her fired, she's already classified herself as a walking disaster. Things couldn't possibly get worse until an unexpected snow storm leaves her stranded in the forest of the Ozarks.

When she stupidly gets lost in the woods, one wrong step sends her falling to what she thinks is her death. Instead, she finds herself in the magical world of Fantasia filled with glittering kingdoms ruled by perfect royals, envious villains plotting their coup for power, and...a wooden puppet who dreams to be a real boy?

Ella is quickly thrown head-first into the plot of a well known fairytale, and she's the leading lady. Trapped into a fake courtship with a charming, yet infuriating prince who has to marry a princess to keep his throne, she finds herself getting used to her new life in Fantasia. But this isn't the Cinderella story she thought she knew, and an evil (and terribly cliché) sorceress has her eyes set on uncovering Ella's secret.

Ella finally has a chance at having a life of her dreams, but if she isn't careful her happy ending will be happily never after.
