joshua grinned widely as his husband approached him in a gray suit, tears coming to his eyes.

"you're still the cutest thing i've ever laid eyes on," josh smiled, straightening his husband's tie.

"oh, stop. we haven't even signed the papers yet. you aren't allowed to make me cry," tyler laughed lightly, tears already in his eyes.

"i'm the one crying, not you!"

"you crying makes me start crying!"

they both stood and laughed, sniffling with their foreheads and noses pressed together as they held one another's hands.

"you ready?" josh asked after a few minutes, squeezing tyler's hands.

tyler smiled and nodded, hugging his almost-husband tightly before following him out to the car.

the boy decided they weren't going to get married in front of anyone. they didn't want any distractions on their day, knowing brendon would most likely be making fart noises in the crowd during the ceremony.

they were joined in marriage under a gorgeous gazebo, it being only them and the officiant. they decided to save their vows for their honeymoon, wanting only one another to know them.

they sealed the ceremony with a kiss, tyler refusing to pull back for quite some time which made joshua giggle through his tears.

oh, they were both crying.

a lot.

"y-you're my husband," tyler sniffled, holding josh's face gently.

"a-and you're mine," josh smiled, tears still rolling down his cheeks as he held his husband's face in return.

they stood under the gazebo, embracing one another and swaying back and forth ever so slightly. josh rested his chin on tyler's shoulder and tyler's face was buried in his husband's neck.

and that went on for several minutes.

"we should probably head home and pack," josh said. "we don't wanna be late to our honeymoon," he grinned.

tyler smiled and nodded, tightly holding his husband's hand as they headed back to the car, just excited to read joshua his vows.

he hoped they would be good enough.

but he was tyler, of course they would be good enough.
