Hello everyone! Here it is! I'm sorry it took so long, this was something I really thought long and hard for, I even made a plot and structure for this and I know you're all probably like "Oh wowww, a structure XD" But it's the truth! I've really been aiming to work hard on this, so I hope you enjoy it :3 And with that, read on my gummy bears!

The streets were singing with cars and people walking across them, the constant tapping of feet taking their owner somewhere they wanted to be, the cars stopping and going, driving to the places they were destined to be.

This was something normal, though some seeing it for the first time may be overwhelmed, the city was something that I liked very much. The air conditioning steadily left a cool breeze in the car, my hair waving slightly along with the air current.

Comfortably relaxed in the chair, I had to admit though my body was at peace my mind was not. Thoughts of work started to crowd up my head. Whether or not I'd make enough money, what would happen if I spent too much on takeout?

What if my dog ate my furniture and I had to buy new ones? Or if she peed on my bed, god, the life of a person living alone sucks. Unless you count Chica, then not entirely alone. The only human being in the household seems more fit of a title.

Bags of stress had swelled under my eyes, and as I gazed ahead of me in a straight view I thought about the mortgage of the house. I have to pay off two hundred and fifty thousand dollars in total, but they let me pay it off by a few hundred monthly.

I'm just hoping I'm able to keep the couple hundred that I earn, luckily for me, minimum wage went up, and that was really something I needed at the moment, a stroke of luck in a thunderstorm.

At the moment, I pay around one hundred dollars on groceries every two weeks, and spend forty on takeout on average monthly, adulting is really a difficult thing to do. My eyebrows creasing as I continued counting out the numbers, my mind stopped dead in it's tracks within a millisecond.

My head had snapped upwards and my heart stopped beating for a second, my eyes wide I looked out of the front window of my car, seeing a man inches away, his face terrified as he closed his eyes tight and braced for impact.

My car halting to a stop, the loud sound of screeching brakes filled the air as the boys body was flung forwards. Heart leaping into my throat, I dove out of the car dashing quickly to the boy. Adrenaline began to kick in. Kneeling down as I approached, I shook him quickly and panicked, only to have no response.

Fear engulfing me, I rummaged through my pocket and took out my phone, hands shaky and missing the buttons a few times I dialled the emergency number and waited as they picked up.

"Hello, emergency service how may I help you?"

"Hi, uhm, my name is Mark, and I hit someone, I need a paramedic."

"Just tell us the details and we'll be on our way immediately."

"Thank you."

The phone hanging up after giving directions, I looked down at the boy, tears welling up in my eyes, I took a shaky breath and stared at him. He seemed young, around my age at max.

Teeth grinding against each other, I quickly ran a hand through my hair shutting my eyes, now there's no way I'll be able to afford mortgage this month. This is really bad, my mind was racing with a million thoughts a second and yet not being able to grasp any it left me blank.

My heart felt tight in my chest, too small and my ribs were going to crush it. Gently extending my arms, I turned the boy over to get a better look of him, he didn't seem like anyone I recognized, but that doesn't make hitting him exactly better.

A groan escaping my lips, my head fell as I quickly wiped away tears that had not yet fallen, this just sucks. But even if it does...

I really hope he's okay.
