The sudden loss- Chendy
Note: It's AU (but shorter than my usual one shots
The characters don't belong to me, anyways, enjoy!)
Ps. amphetamine is an illegal, addictive mood changing drug. All you need to know.

Wendy Marvell somehow agreed to something, not even knowing why. She didn't thought this to happen! But it did. And it drove her crazy.
Well, it wasn't like that. She met Sherria on an exchange program, and everything was fine. Until five months later. Her world... was crumbling apart.
The bluenette was torn between life and death. A part of her told her to keep going, the other quite the opposite.
"Wendy? Are you alright?" Sherria asked, a deep hint of concern in her voice. Wendy didn't respond, instead she glanced at the picture she was holding. Wendy and Sherria, hand in hand, on the cherry blossom tree. Now, that moment was a memory.
"Yeah. Don't worry about me."
"Sure? You're not hiding anything from me?"
Wendy nodded. That was when the lying begun. A few weeks later, it became more difficult for Sherria to try and help her friend. She was shunned away and her communication with Wendy became lower than ever. Until this day.
"Hey Sherria~san, can you have this?" Wendy handed over the picture, a few mementos, and stuff they would usually share together.
"Why?"
"I want you to have it."
"No. You have to tell me what's going on with you. Please, all I want is to help you, but you refuse!"
' I- '
Wendy tried her best to say the right words. Only that sharing her feelings wasn't that helpful, at least in her perspective. "I'm alright, I already told you,"
"Then why aren't you saying anything!"
"Because!"
Sherria sighed. This was no use. "Take this, please," Wendy whined. For how long has she been in this mental state?
The pinkette would do anything, even visit her after school. Check on her through texts, even thought that might get her in trouble, but that didn't matter.
'Damm it. I'm such a horrible person. How could've I been so blind?'
"I'll give it a try. If it doesn't work, then..."
'Don't finish that sentence. Please' Sherria thought to herself.
Wendy suggested that they should go to her apartment, so she doesn't feel alone. Sherria searched and searched for clinics on the internet, and all of her hard work lead to something.
"What are you doing Sherria~San?" Wendy asked. "Trying to schedule you an appointment. Let's not forget, searching for therapy," she responded.
'Not again'
"Yes!" Sherria exclaimed, while typing a phone number.
"Hello? Can you schedule an appointment?" Sherria said through the phone.
"Name of the patient?" the secretary asked. It was all questions, all about Wendy. You know the drill. Time was running out. And it was better too soon, than a second too late.
February 9
Wendy opened a prescription container, made a sandwich for breakfast and served herself a glass of water. She didn't had the same amount of appetite anymore.
"Wendy, are those pills?"
"No, it's those little candies that look like pills," the bluenette states. More lies. Sherria already knew. Originally, that medicine was used to relieve some symptoms, but overtime, Wendy abused of them; overdosed.
Getting to the clinic in public transport wasn't easy, but they made it. Somehow. It was one of the other buildings, the one that's used for yearly checkups and physical exams. Room 106.
"Hmm... Wendy Marvell..." the doctor began talking.
"You're severely underweight and have amphetamine in your blood, according to the drug test results. And my question is, do you have any amphetamine at home? If so, how? Those pills are illegal here."
"What? She's... ?" Sherria panicked. "How come she didn't tell me?!"
"It's a possibility. But if she did, she wouldn't be here at all, unless... Anyways, at least you're brought her on time, teenagers these days... they always die so young." Yet Wendy was still alive.
"I'll leave you girls alone, this isn't something easy to process." Once the doctor left the room, the pinkette gave Wendy a look, as if saying: 'Were you really overdosing, or is it a joke?'
"I don't know if this was the right thing to do..." Wendy whispered. The door opened, revealing the same lady that attended them.
"Here's the paperwork, and I haven't found what's wrong with her. Mentally. Here's not the best place, since we're specialized on common diseases and such." Sherria took the papers, and handed them to Wendy.
"Can we go tomorrow?"
"Fine Wendy, but tomorrow you have to. It's for your health. And why do you have the pills the doctor mentioned?"
"To make yourself forget your own pain?" Wendy nodded.
The next day, the schedule was planned. Therapy session at nine in the morning. Wendy attended like she was told, but didn't say a word. This lasted for approximately thirty minutes, maybe more.
"Honestly... I wish I could fade away, be a bird set free. Up in the sky," Wendy smiled.
At home, Sherria processed what she heard today. Wendy worked on a letter, adding the last details to make it look pretty. She knew Sherria didn't accept any of her gifts, so she decided to give that a second try. Only with her most valuable possession.
"Here, it's the necklace you gave to me."
"You don't want it?"
"No! It's just that - "
That's when the pinkette remembered the events of the other day. When she declined Wendy's mementos. She didn't knew, and probably went against Wendy's will.
"Fine, thanks," Sherria smiled, but it was forced, cause she already knew this day would come. Late at night, there wasn't a sound. When she opened her best friend's room, she noticed that she was gone, only a piece of paper left at the counter. A certain blue haired girl, laying on the floor. The pill container next to her.
That's when Sherria realized Wendy was truly gone.
