Our wishes- (Chendy)

Wendy looked up to the sky for the third time in as many minutes. She knew she was doing it for so long she couldn't stop herself. The bluenette waited for so long, and it was almost time. She could hear her heart ticking in sync with the second hand and prayed she wouldn't be late.

Her brain couldn't handle it. Another long hour passed before Wendy walked as far away as possible, only to hear footsteps approaching her.

Sherria.

"Hi Wendy, sorry," she says. "I had to clean up, my room was a mess." Wendy blinked, processing what she just heard. Sherria wasn't the type of person who would be late, who knows if she was lying. In response, the pinkette gave the other girl a sad look, an apology.

"It's alright Sherria~san," Wendy smiles, but deep down, she wanted to cry. Sadly, there were no tears left. She took a deep breath, and glanced at her feet. If she was alone, there would've been a chance of bursting to tears.

'What was left for me to say?' Wendy thought to herself.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes." Wendy regretted saying that now. Her mood wasn't the greatest anyway, and no, it's not her best friend. I guess it's just those days that you start thinking upsetting thoughts. Sherria held Wendy's hand, a habit of hers. She thought so.

Sherria Blendy wished to tell Wendy her feelings, but what if she doesn't feel the same way? But love is love, but if it was one sided, it's not. "Let's go for a walk!"

"Sure," Wendy said, still holding her best friends' hand. Deep down, her feelings were going crazy. Her heart was beating fast, face blushing. But it was all in her head. In reality, she was gloomy, not that much, but still.

'No, no no. Wendy, she's your best friend.'  the sky dragon slayer told herself. 'You can't fall for her.'

'Tell her, it's that simple. Plus I'm sure she likes you too.'

Now Wendy was indecisive. She couldn't decide if telling Sherria now, or later. This was part of the tale, they liked each other, yet they were too blind. Someday, their relationship might bloom to something more.

"Since it's just the two of us, maybe we can go to the park, the one with dandelions!" Walking together, Sherria noticed that Wendy was more quiet than usual, but she didn't want to make her even more upset. Sherria wished for her friend to be happy, nothing more, nothing less.

Once they were at the park, Sherria wandered off to clear her mind. She took a dandelion and held it to her chest. Once the girl blew the dandelion away, she knew her wish will become true. Or so they say.

She ran back to Wendy, her eyes full of happiness. "Here," she handed her a dandelion. "Make a wish, but don't tell me." she giggles.

"But how am I supposed to say my wish?"

"Just blow your dandelion."

"Okay!" Wendy did what she was told. 'I wish I could-"

At that moment, Sherria already stole her words. "D-do you like me?"

"What way?" Wendy asked.

"As a friend," Sherria said. "Or maybe more than that..." the pinkette whispered.

Well, I could tell you Wendy's response, but as you see, you might already know. Stella spied them with Mendy, both hiding under a bush.

"What's her response?"

"Let's wait and see." Mendy replies to her sister.
