Chapter 1 of 28: Sneaky Lying Cheating Giant Ninja Band Kids

The tranquil evening at Guerzon Castle was anything but calm—oh, please, calm at Guerzon Castle? That's a laugh! Rusty and Jasmine were busy pelting the walls with stones, Ava and Edith were yanking on Serena's hair, while Kaitlyn and Kate were lost in their dance. Their chaotic fun came to a halt when their teacher, Mrs. Guerzon, the formidable leader, commanded their attention. "Gather around, band members, the Guerzon clan meeting is now in session." The seven girls hurried to the front, eager to listen. "Up till now, I've tasked you with minor mischief and mid-level malice," she said with a sly grin. "But now, you're ready for the grandest scheme yet!" She gestured to her faithful flute-bearing followers. "Victoria-San, unveil the target of our grand plan!" The curtains were drawn to reveal a portrait of John Saville, heralded as the finest band teacher alive. Jasmine quickly chimed in, "That's Mr. Saville! The new sensation at Junction! Rumor has it he's the bravest and best band teacher to ever do it—even for a middle school level." Rusty, unimpressed, retorted, "The best? Pfft, Jasmine, he's nothing special!" She punctuated her dismissal with a playful punch. But Mrs. Guerzon corrected her, "No, Jasmine is spot on." Rusty then quickly made amends, helping Jasmine up, "Exactly, Mrs. G! That's what I meant. Someone among us, like Jasmine or Ava, must confront him!" Mrs. Guerzon then sauntered to her throne, plotting aloud, "One of us will indeed confront him—I plan to transform the greatest band teacher into a tiny ferret, a miniature ferret at that!" She faced the children, her voice rising with excitement, "Now, WHO WILL BRING ME MR SAVILLE, TO FALL INTO MY TRAP?" Ava, nudging Rusty toward their wicked teacher, voiced her concerns, "But Mrs. G, this sounds perilous! Couldn't we just nab an elementary school teacher instead?" Mrs. Guerzon, unfazed, summoned her chosen students with a smirk. "Rusty! Jasmine! Edith! Serena! Step up!" The others stepped back, making way for Mrs. Guerzon's magic. Wielding her enchanted baton, she transformed them into Sneaky Lying Cheating Giant Ninja Band Kids. "You are now empowered as Sneaky Lying Cheating Giant Ninja Band Kids, unstoppable by any! Now, capture Mr. Saville for me, so I can diminish his stature!" Her command was followed by a menacing laugh.

Kamari, Haru, Mr. Jingles, and Marina had just arrived in Junction when Mr. Jingles eagerly addressed Mr. Saville, "We rushed over as soon as we got your message, Mr. Saville!" Marina quickly added her own twist, "Yeah, the first message we've received that's bigger than the post office itself!" Mr. Saville, visibly shaken, implored them for aid, "I desperately need your assistance, Orchestra Kids! I'm facing an enormous problem!" His daughter, Marin, couldn't help but amplify the situation, "ENORMOUS PROBLEM! REALLY BIG!" Saville continued, concern etched on his face, "My orchestra guards were just overpowered by Giant Band Kids! And now, they're on their way here to seize me!"

Kamari, undeterred, reassured him with a confident smile, "No challenge is too perilous for us, Lord Saville! The Orchestra Kids are at your service!" Marin, skeptical of their capabilities, mocked them, "OH PLEASE! AS IF! These kids couldn't even assist the royal navy!" Kamari, fueled by determination and a hint of anger, retorted, "What you fail to realize, young one, is that we 'shrimpy teenagers' possess the ability to become supercharged!" With a leap of faith, she dived into a pipe, proclaiming, "Come on, Haru! Let's prove to this doubter that we're not to be underestimated! Time to find some super strings!" Haru, equally motivated, followed suit, "We better find them quickly, because those Giant Ninja Band Kids will be arriving any moment now!" Together, they vanished into the pipe, embarking on a quest to Christensen in search of the power that could help them confront the looming threat.

The quartet of band kids advanced toward the orchestra palace with a pace that signaled trouble, their determination unwavering. Despite the urgency, two orchestra guards positioned themselves, ready to halt the intruders. "HEY! STOP WHERE YOU ARE!" they shouted, attempting to assert their authority. Unfazed and undeterred, the band kids continued their march toward the palace.

"HEY!" the guards called out again, this time resorting to their musical instruments, hoping the power of their strings could repel the invaders. They played with precision and intensity, hoping the unique abilities of their instruments would be enough to stop the band kids in their tracks.

However, their efforts were in vain. The band kids, seemingly impervious to the musical defense, pressed on, their resolve as strong as ever. The orchestra guards' attempts to use their strings to fend off the advancing group proved ineffective, and the band kids made it to the palace, setting the stage for an unprecedented confrontation within the hallowed halls of musical power.

Emerging from the warp pipe, Kamari landed with grace, while Haru's exit was less than smooth. "Now what?!" In a bid to assist, Kamari extended her arms, shouting, "LET GO! I'LL CATCH YOU!" Trusting her, Haru released his hold, but Kamari's catching skills were notably lacking, resulting in both tumbling to the ground. Haru, a bit exasperated yet bemused, commented on his girlfriend's attempt, "Nice catch, Kamari." Kamari, slightly embarrassed and nursing her forehead, apologized, "Sorry, I tripped on that hooded guy."

The supposed robber, taken aback by the accusation, protested, "I was NOT!" Sensing tension, Kamari, now on her feet and visibly scared, urged Haru, "RUN FOR IT, HARU!" They dashed off, dodging the hooded figure's subsequent swipes at them.

During their escape, Kamari spotted something invaluable. "LOOK! A Super String! Let's grab it!" Upon seizing the Super String, their attire transformed magically—Kamari into a stunning magenta dress and Haru into a sleek tuxedo. In their newfound outfits, they exclaimed, "FOR ORCHESTRAAAAAAA!" with the hooded figure still in pursuit.

Attempting a quick diversion, Kamari addressed a passerby, "Hey there! You haven't seen two high schoolers around, have you?" Without missing a beat and pointing to a corner, she lied, "Uh, BEHIND THAT CORNER!" The hooded figure, easily fooled, thanked them and dashed off in the wrong direction. Kamari, sharing a knowing look with Haru, chuckled, "I guess that robber isn't too bright! Come on, Haru! Let's head to the palace!"

As they made their way, Haru took a moment to remind Kamari of the critical rule in their quest. "Remember, Kamari, don't let a band kid touch you, or you'll lose your power!" With the warning fresh in their minds, they continued their mission, now cloaked in the power of the Super String, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead in their pursuit to protect Mr. Saville and the Orchestra Palace.

In the heart of the palace, Edith skillfully wielded her nunchucks to dismantle the door. Jasmine and Serena, not to be outdone, forcefully kicked it open. Amidst the chaos, Marin covered her eyes, exclaiming, "This is too frightening! I can't bear to watch!" Rusty, meanwhile, pushed the band teacher aside to seize the two orchestra students. Mr. Saville, protective of his students, shouted, "LEAVE THEM BE!" Just in the nick of time, Kamari and Haru arrived to rescue their peers. Mr. Saville found himself struggling against the hold of Edith and Serena. Jasmine, attempting to fend them off while securing the captives, scoffed, "I've encountered some dreadful fashion in my time, but THIS takes the cake!" Rusty, flaunting her newly enlarged hands, attempted to overpower them, jeering, "Yeah! Almost as hideous as those orchestra kids themselves!" Marina scolded the offender, "Those ARE the orchestra kids! And unless you release us, they'll make you REGRET it!" Jasmine retorted mockingly, "Oh, you foolish Sailor! It's they who'll be regretting!" With a dramatic exhale, she unleashed a gust of wind so powerful it sent Kamari flying. "NO! BAND KID BREATH STORM! I'M DONE FOR!" Kamari lamented as she collided with a wall, the impact causing her to drop her sheet music and lose her powers. Defeated, she mumbled, "Great, now I'm not a hero, just ordinary Kamari again." Haru attempted to escape by air but was swiftly captured by Jasmine. "I'M CAUGHT TOO, KAMARI! THEY'VE GOT ME!" Jasmine, victorious, looked to the heavens, exclaiming, "BEING A BAND KID IS THE BEST!"

Jasmine firmly grasped Marin's arm, despite Marin's attempts to resist. "YOU CAN'T HURT ME! I'M THE BAND TEACHER'S DAUGHTER!" she protested. Jasmine swiftly countered, "You're a Band Kid, silly, and we need your cage for our captives!" With that, she pushed Marin down and herded them into the cage. Rusty, eager to secure the door, was abruptly stopped by Jasmine's reminder, "Wait, don't close it yet! We've got to get Kamari in there too!"

Kamari, regaining her footing, declared defiantly, "Well, you'll have to catch me first!" She reached for Marin, urging, "Come on! Let's escape, Marin!" Marin, however, was less than enthusiastic, shrugging her off with a, "Leave me alone, will you?" Kamari tried to remind her of the stakes, "This is our chance to save your dad, and all my friends!" Marin hesitated, her concern for her belongings evident. "I can't leave without my cage. It has all my stuff - my comic books, my James Charles makeup palette. EVERYTHING!"

As Rusty charged towards them with a battle cry, Kamari made a solemn promise to the band teacher's daughter, "I'll retrieve your royal cage for you!" Marin, still doubtful, sought confirmation, "Promise?" Kamari nodded firmly, "Promise! Now hurry, Marin! GO!" With Kamari's encouragement, Marin sprinted away, narrowly evading Rusty's grasp. They were now on their way to Castle Guerzon.

Meanwhile, Jasmine, undeterred by the escape, smirked, "No matter, we've still got Mr. Saville and the three prisoners Mrs. Guerzon wanted." Serena, flashing a grin, added, "Right, let's return to Castle Guerzon. She'll surely praise us for our cleverness!"

Mrs. G reveled in her throne, her smirk wide with malevolence. "Finally! You've committed acts of mischief fitting of true band kids!" Her grin broadened as she praised them, "I couldn't be prouder of my band kids." Her gaze then fell mockingly on the anxious Mr. Jingles in his cage. "Now, witness why I truly consider myself a genius!" With an evil laugh, she grabbed a magic scepter and aimed it at the teacher. "FERRET BATON! DO YOUR MAGIC!" The baton unleashed its power, causing Rusty and Jasmine to release Mr. Saville, who was then transformed into a tiny ferret, whimpering in fear. Mr. Jingles could only lament, "Oh no! Poor Mr. Saville." Mrs. G, smug with her deed, quipped, "It's the little victories that bring joy to a teacher!" The group shared a spiteful laugh.

As she put the wand away, Mrs. G announced, "Now that my master plan is fulfilled, it's time to revert you back to normal." However, Rusty pleaded, "But Teacher, we love being Sneaky Lying Cheating Giant Ninja Band Kids!" Jasmine joined in, "Can't we stay like this and take over more schools?" Mrs. G's eyes sparkled with mischief. "Such a vile, brilliant idea. AND I ADORE IT!" She laughed heartily as she returned the baton to its shelf, postponing its use for another time. The band kids celebrated joyously.

In the midst of the celebration, Kamari and Marin stealthily entered the throne room. Kamari attempted to unlock the cage but failed. "Argh, it's no use! But don't worry, Jingles! I've got a plan to outsmart old Guerzon. Listen up." As Kamari shared her scheme, the distracted band kids encircled Mr. Saville, now a ferret, who could only make soft noises. Unnoticed, Kamari switched the wands.

When Jasmine returned Mrs. G to her throne, she inquired, "So, which school shall we conquer next?" Serena proposed "Lauderdale!" while Carine suggested "Tucson!" Mrs. G silenced them, asserting her authority to choose their next target. It was then that Kamari boldly stepped forward, stunning everyone. "You're not taking over anything, Pauline Guerzon!" The room gasped in shock. Kamari confronted Mrs. G, demanding the reversal of her friends' transformations. Mrs. G, feigning confidence, asked, "Or else what, Maestro?" Kamari hesitated, proposing a vague bargain, but it was too late. Mrs. G ordered her capture.

Mr. Jingles lamented the dire situation, fearing Kamari's imminent transformation. Mrs. G, inspired by the suggestion, reached for the baton, dreaming of "twin ferrets." However, Haru discreetly celebrated their successful ruse; Mrs. G was oblivious to the wand switch. When she attempted to use the baton on Kamari, it backfired, injuring Jasmine and, to Mrs. G's astonishment, causing Kamari to grow. "Hey! Who's been tampering with my batons?!" Kamari, now towering and empowered, declared herself, "Good Truthful Honest Giant Ninja Kamari, That's who!"

Marin peeked out from her hiding spot behind the throne, her eyes wide with anticipation for the impending showdown. Kamari, seizing the moment, quickly unlocked the cage to liberate her friends. As they emerged, Mrs. G, overcome with panic, scrambled away, desperate to escape the wrath they might unleash. Kamari, standing tall and formidable, adopted a battle-ready pose, prepared to confront the band kids head-on. However, Mr. Jingles, quick on his feet and with a clever plan in mind, dashed for the wand. With precision, he aimed it at the girls, effectively shrinking them. Now diminutive in size, they gazed up at Kamari, their eyes filled with fear, dwarfed by her towering presence. Intimidated and realizing they stood no chance, they scurried away in defeat.

Haru, with a sense of urgency, rushed to Mr. Saville, wand in hand, eager to restore him to his original form. With a hopeful flick of the wand, a magical transformation unfolded before their eyes—Mr. Saville was returned to his human state, once again a teacher. Mr. Jingles and Marina, perhaps fearing the unpredictable outcomes of such powerful magic, shielded their eyes during the transformation, only to look back and find a familiar figure standing where the ferret once was.

Kamari flashed Mr. Saville a mischievous grin, eyeing the diminutive villain and her young charges. "Let's show them what we're made of in band class!" she exclaimed. The children cowered behind her, their voices trembling with fear, "SAVE US! PLEASE!" Mrs. G dropped a harsh reality on them, "I wish I could assist, but I've just remembered a crucial hair styling appointment in another classroom! So long!" With that, she bolted towards the nearest pipe. The kids, in a panic, followed swiftly behind her, crying out, "BUT WE'RE YOUR STUDENTS TOO!" They all dove into the pipe just as it sealed shut.

Mr. Saville was overjoyed with the departure of the band group. "Kamari, you've truly been a hero to Junction," he expressed with gratitude. Kamari responded with a light-hearted chuckle, "Ah, don't mention it. We're just happy to see you back to your usual self!" Mr. Jingles, holding the baton, aimed it at Kamari, saying, "Here, Kamari, let's get you back to your regular size." With a wave of the baton, Kamari was restored to her original size. However, Marin was in complete dismay. "MY CAGE! KAMARI, YOU'VE DESTROYED MY CAGE! YOU PROMISED TO RETURN IT TO ME!" Kamari let out a sheepish laugh, "Well, technically, I did. But hey! Haru and I can mend it." Marin quickly grabbed the baton from Mr. Jingles and glowered at Kamari. "You're going to repair my cage, Kamari, or else you'll regret ever picking up a violin!" she declared, her voice filled with fury as she began to chase Kamari. With a resigned sigh, Kamari muttered to herself while fleeing, "Just my luck, chased by my own incredibly angry, giant ninja daughter. What a day!"
