n. a hiding place; a place of safety and comfort

when i was a wee tot
my mother told me i was special
and she loved me very much
she was my latibule

when i turned four years
the candles whistled away
and so did that latibule
the pink little stuffed bunny was my guardian angel

then came 8 years
and it didn't seem i needed anyone anymore
i was independent
i could unknot those tricky shoelaces
and ace my spelling tests that were far too easy

and then just a little bit later

i died

and so did my latibule
