Melissa - Chapter Eight

I watched as she left the room. "Make a new friend Cecil?" She barked happily. But she was kinda sad. I knew why. The one other wolf lives next door and she can't her. "I could probably get you two together if my social anxiety would go away." Before I knew it, Cecil was pushing me out the door. "What?" She finally pushes me out into the hallway. "What's the problem?" She trots over to the door and sits down stubbornly. She wouldn't move. "Cecil, you know I can't, not to mention, my kingdom is small. Hardly known. Now, get back in the room." She didn't move only stared at the door. "Cecil, come on, I can't." She started to scratch the door. I had to pull her away for that. "No, you and I both know that I can't. I think it's even against policy. Come on, please. I will try and talk to her later. If I can." I wouldn't have said that if I had known she had opened the door and was listening.

"I don't mind Cecil and Snow being together." I jumped up because I was so scared.

"Sorry, I didn't see you there. How long have you been standing there?"

"Long enough. But Cecil is a sweet wolf, pushing you out here just to see the other pup. I see no reason why they can't hang out sometime."

"Oh, uh, thanks. Cecil, you're appreciation." I looked at Cecil who wasn't standing next to me, instead she tackled her. Licking her face. "Cecil!" I hissed as she came back. "I'm so sorry." I hand her my handkerchief that I had in my glove. "I don't know what happen, Cecil never does that."
