Hayden's pov

After my outburst in Immanuel's office, I strolled down the hall, not sure of where I needed to go.

I must admit this uniform looked hot. A white button up shirt, red and black tie completed with black pants and a slick black jacket with the institution's logo embroidered on the left. I felt confident wearing it.

While walking, I felt a pair of eyes burn into my side profile. I turned to see Jade with her arms crossed as she leaned against the locker.

She looked cute with her brows furrowed. It felt like my feet had a mind of it's own because I was already standing in her presence

"hi Jade" I said sweetly, I needed to apologize.

I'm sure everyone had a sucky reason to come to this place but I was just have a terrible day you know? Being abandoned by my owner like a dog.

She raised her brow while her eyes traveled from my head to toe.

"look, I'm sorry about yesterday, I wasn't having such a great day. I woke up and was dragged to this place without consent or even a warning but it's not an excuse" I leaned my back and head against the locker next to hers.

"I had no right in taking it out on you and being rude, I apologize for that, maybe we can start over and be friends? I'm Hayden" I held my hands out.

There was silence, suddenly I felt a hand in mine.

"Jade" she smiled, shaking my hand

"So Jade, what are you in for?" I said like we were being held as prisoners in this place.

"a few months ago I had a sleepover with my best friend, I pretty much had a crush on her since the day we met" Jade slid down the locker, sitting on the cold floor. I joined her. 

"so that night I gained some sort of confidence and kissed her during a movie, she didn't take it well.
She started screaming and my parents barged into my room.
She told them and they looked at me like I killed a puppy" she pouted

"it was the most heartbreaking thing to see, the two people that were supposed to love you unconditionally, look at you with disgust in their eyes. Soon they found out about this place and here I am" she faked a smile

"what about you?" she asked curiously

"I came out at my graduation party, I announced it on stage and my mother dragged me outside to tell me I'm a disgrace" I pulled my knees against my chest

"the next day I was dropped off here"

Silence fell once again between us before I heard her chuckle

"your mom moves fast huh?" she giggled

"I never thought about that" I laughed, how did she even get me into this place in so little time?

"the staff is clueless about the internet, it's like they're still living in the Ice Age. A few days ago they converted to storing their logs into computers" Jade said

"What are you doing" a voice came beside me. I looked up to see Maddison. Am I the chosen one for this kid or something?

"you're supposed to be in Mr Harold's class" Maddison said while holding a slip of paper. I sighed while getting up

"What if I don't go?" I leaned closer to her feeling our bodies touch

"Then I'll report you to the commander" she said breathing heavily.

Commander? Really? Immanuel couldn't command a fish to swim even if he tried

"go ahead" I smirked. I heard Jade laugh while getting back up on her feet

"Come on, I'll take you to class. I'm supposed to be in there either way" said Jade

Maddison glared at Jade

"this is the last strike for you Jade, if you skip class again I'll have to inform your parents" Maddison said sternly.

"Tell them, they'll just make me stay here even longer and I'll have even more time to drive you mad" Jade huffed out before grabbing my arm and leading me down the hall to class

What can they possibly teach us in here?
The history of humans?
Every word in the Bible?
Algebra?

"nice of you to make an appearance" a man -who I assume was our teacher- said upon our presence at the door.

Jade flipped him off and I quietly sat next to her in an empty seat. I'm surprised he brushed it off.

"Hayden, this is my friend Cameron" Jade whispered pointing to the person sitting in front her.

When she turned around, I felt my mouth go dry. She was the most breathtaking creation of God I ever laid my eyes on. Holy fuck.

Cameron looked over at me, her green emerald eyes piercing through my soul. I could tell she was checking me out. I swallowed hard.

Suddenly coming back into my body, I winked at her. She smiled turning back the focus on the teacher.

"For anyone new, good morning I'm Mr Harold, I'll be explain the basics of physical attraction, in other words.. Your sexuality." the man said

He looked nothing close to any teacher I've ever seen. He had multiple tattoos and his body looked like it was carved from stone. How did he end up teaching here?

Harold called Cameron up to his desk so she could give us all textbooks. I watched her walk up to him with my eyes focused on her huge ass-

I quickly shook the image out my head while diverting my focus to the....  Wall?

"Enjoying the view?" Jade leaned over whispering.

Dammit. She knows.

I buried my face into my hands waiting for this class to be over.

....

It was now lunch, Jade showed me around the school most of the day.

There was a library where girls usual go to makeout. They had a tennis and a basketball court.

Only boys were allowed to play basketball while the girls played tennis. It was complete and utter bullshit.

They also had a soccer field which of course only boys were allowed to use.

Jade found out that late at night, the athletic girls would sneak out to use the field.

Jade and I sat at a table with Cameron, I looked around noticing two faces staring at me. Danny and Abeke, I wondered what was so interesting about me for them to talk about.

They smiled and waved sweetly, maybe they're not so bad. I returned the gesture and decided to dive into lunch aka soup.

"Fuck you, move your damn hand! Excuse me!" a voice yelled,
everyone in the cafeteria stopped what they were doing to listen

"Hi, yeah, can someone fucking tell me where Hayden Musk is" the girl screamed. She was already causing a scene as everyone looked around.

Wait, did she just say my name?

I stood while my eyes followed the voice to see a girl standing on the cafeteria table.

Oh. My. God.

"There you are bitch" she smiled

"Alexis???!???" I asked shocked

She englufed me in a bear crushing hug which I returned.

She squealed as we hugged for what seemed like hours. What was she doing here! Either way I'm glad she is.

"How are you here??" I asked as we both sat down

"When you told me what happened, I did some digging on the place. After some time, I found out someone recently left. Then I messed around and hacked into their shitty system, making me a student" she laughed

"Did you know their password is literally St. Marys" we both laughed. Wow, they really are living in the Ice Age.

"I told my dads that I wanted to come here to make sure you're alright and keep you company since I was taking a year break. Joey was alright with it since he knew what happened with your mom" she held my hand

"Daniel was pretty pissed that I hacked into a private system but after a few hours and loud bed shaking later, he agreed" she rolled her eyes

"They're so loud, did you know they fucked so long that the dog unlocked their bedroom door, went into the kitchen and fed himself?" she said amused

Jade started laughing uncontrollably.
Alexis raised a brow at Jade

"Hi, I'm Alexis" she held out her hand towards her

"Jade" they both held hands for a few seconds. Cameron and I glanced at each other watching the two stare at each other. Cameron smiled and I felt my heart skip a beat

Or whatever that mushy shit is

I coughed, interrupting their little meet and greet.

"Oh yeah, sorry.. Joey dropped me off, he helped me jump over the fence, my legs were on his shoulders" she laughed

"I fell into a bush with spikes then my suitcases fell on my head thanks to Joey" we all started to laugh, picturing Alexis's story.

"He means well but the man has terrible aim" she said

"that's why he's the bottom" I chuckled while she glared at me

"Being the spy I am, I checked myself into a room... 201, by the way we're roomates" she said making me smile

"And that's how I got here"

"This is crazy, what if someone finds out" I said, it indeed was crazy

"My dad's a lawyer, he'll do his thing" she laughed

"So what's for lunch?" she asked smiling

"Soup" I sighed, her face fell

"So...... I guess I'm heading back home, it was nice seeing you Hayden, I hope you live to write many books about how you hate your mother, but I'm ghost" she said walking away

I laughed, the bell rang alerting the next class.

After that long lecture about history, my final class ended and off to my dorm I went.

I took a shower and tightly wrapped the towel around my self.

Suddenly there was a knock on the door

I opened it to reveal.........

Maddison, of course.

"I wanted to bring you your schedule, you walked away and I never got the chance to give it to you" oops

I took the paper from her hand and slammed the door shut.

What? Don't judge me. There was a draft, my kitty was getting cold.

As I turned around to put some clothes on, there was another knock on the door.

I let out an exaggerated sigh and flung the door open. Fucking Maddison

"WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU WANT MA-........Cameron?" my eyes widened

Cameron slid right pass the door as I stood there still confused.

Her eyes wondered over my body, I could physically feel a burn left on the path her eyes traveled.

Before I knew it, I was braced against the door with soft lips on mine and a hand placed tightly around my neck.
