Hayden's POV

"Why doesn't she just choose" Cameron said while looking at Alexis.

I turned my face to the direction of the sofa and saw that Alexis had Jade in one arm and Isabella in the other.

"You don't know her like how I do, she doesn't want to choose because she wants to make everyone happy" I said.

"It looks like its taking a toll on her though" Cameron replied. I sighed and glanced at my best friend

"She might look like her stem is made of steel but at the end of the day she's still a flower" I said.

"So are you" she said chuckling

I didn't answer I just giggled and threw my arms around her.
In the corner of my eyes, I noticed Alexis and Isabella on their feet.

Alexis gave me a nod, I raised a brow and smirked, immediately knowing where she was going. Have you ever had a friend like that? You know each other inside out.

Alexis intertwined her fingers with Isabel, I furrowed my brows at the way she looked at her. Maybe she did choose, I'm happy for her. It's about time she had some happiness in her life.

"Mmhm? What?" I glanced over to Jade who was laying on the floor, she raised her head -clearly talking in her sleep- before dropping it again, knocked out cold. Cameron and I giggled to ourselves, trying not to wake anyone else in the room.

A few seconds later, a light taps on the window was heard throughout the dorm. If the rain is one drop it is millions, cascading from a confident sky. It is the sort of weather that washes everything anew, bringing deep puddles into which children splash. And in that happy congregation of water and air, is the sense of being alive, that from such beautiful simplicity comes everything we love, the flora, the fauna, the very essence of nature. Sorry I just really like the rain.

Cameron wrapped her arms around me and snuggled, her warm embrace soothed me. Her arms made me feel safe, I felt her chin resting on my head, my face buried into the crook of her neck. I slowly drifted off into a state of unconsciousness

Ah the sun, not only is it a ball of gas but it's a daily reminder that we have a life.... And chores.... And I live in hell.

I slowly opened my eyes to find myself still in Cameron's arms, I pecked her forehead and looked around at the clowns on my dorm floor

I've also noticed that most of them aren't morning people but I had to wake them up somehow. Even Cameron, she didn't want me to get up but I had to remind her where they were.

"Come on sleepy heads, get up" I announced, there was no response

"Y'all want me to clash two pans together?"

"Five more minutes mom" Abeke whined.

"You better get up before I beat your ass like your mom" I laughed.

Everyone started stirring awake one by one. I was just glad they actually got up because Immanuel was very suspicious of me.

They got their stuff together and started to leave, but Cameron stayed back.

"Cam you have to go" I said, she held her arms around my waist and groaned. Her grip was tight and she refused to let go

"But I don't wanna" She whined like a little kid, I laughed.

"I'll make it up to you, ok?" I said.

"Fine, Its okay that you don't want my love, I shall try forever" She threw herself on the floor.

"Get up drama queen" I laughed.

She got up and pecked my lips before she got her stuff. Cameron walked towards the door, she unlocked it and stood on the other side, her head was peaking into the dorm. I raised an eyebrow at her

"I love you" She said before running away

It felt like my heart skipped a beat, my eyes grew wide and my jaw dropped to the fucking floor like fruit roll ups

Clearly I'm not really accustom to affection, I never received that from my family, only sometimes I might feel it from Alexis's dads but other than that I don't really know how to handle it. But, she loves me... Cameron Loves me.

I felt a bubbly feeling within me, what does that mean? Do I love her back? Am I not ready? Agh

The door swung open and my heart fell into my chest, is that Cameron coming back to say she was joking?

Alexis walked in with her clothes drenched but held the widest smile on her face, I noticed Isabella was behind her chuckling

"Where is everyone?" Isabella asked.

"Right where you're supposed to be, in your dorm" I said.

"Right, I'll see you guys in class?" She said as she gathered her stuff and left.

"Bitch you better start spilling that hot tea" I warned, she chuckled and pulled a chair while peeling off her wet clothes

Alexis started telling me what happened early this morning between her and Isabella, I wasn't surprised at all

"So what are you going do about Jade" I questioned

"That's the thing, I don't know, she wants to be 'friends with benefits', I just cant do it anymore" She said frustrated.

"Its okay, just tell her the truth, I'm sure she'll understand, you can't keep everyone happy" I said, she sighed and ran a hand through her wet hair

"I'll talk to her, what would I do without you?" She smiled

"Die of course" We chuckled, instantly She started looking at me smugly.

"What?" I said.

"What went on with you and Cameron?" She smirked, ah yes, my turn to spill the beans. I hopped onto the table and explained everything

"Oooooooh, what will happen when she finds out?" she said playing her chin in her palms

"Find out what?" I squinted my eyes.

"That you're an emotionless potato" She laughed. I threw a pillow at her.

"Go shower, we have therapy all day" I said, she got up and went to her room to shower and I did the same with mine. 

Let's just hope nothing goes wrong today

The bell rang which indicated that last period was over, I quickly got up and ran towards the door. Sweet freedom!

"There's a General Assembly in the auditorium right now, please form a line and go" the teacher said. Dammit! I was so close!

I joined the line leading to the room, when I entered the auditorium I immediately went to the back of course.

The pastry looking man took the stage, he looked somewhat nervous, yes I observed him often. If he wants to follow me around like a bitch, the least I could do was study his movements. I was shook for my thoughts by his next words

"We'll be having a Vice Principal, his name is Ezekiel Channing" the man said with a bright pink glow on his cheek

Where have I heard this name before?I don't know why but his name sounded familiar to me but I brushed off the thought.

whatever, it is what it is

It probably wasn't important either way, but why wasn't he here?

"Thank you, that's all" the strawberry looking man said as he walked off stage. The fuck? That's all?
I could've been sleeping, this Ezekiel guy isn't even here yet and he's already wasting my time.

I groaned and made my way out the room, I watched as Immanuel skipped through the hall like a fairy hooked on pixie dust.

I shook my head and found my way to my dorm, my eyes felt heavy and everything was starting to get blurry. A yawn escaped my lips as I threw my body onto the comforting hug of my bed. I sighed into the pillow and let my self drift away

"I'm skinny, I'm winning and ALL YOU BITCHES ARE UGLY" I woke up to Alexis's horrible voice in the shower

"ALL THESE BITCHES ON MY DICK, THEY GIVING ME HEAD IN THE LOBBY, I BEAT UP DA PUSSY LIKE ROCKY" she sang, I chuckled and shook my head, she do be putting on a show though.

I checked the time it was 06:42pm damn even I didn't know that I was this tired.

Alexis came out the shower, a wide grin plastered across her face that didn't seem to fade

"Why you so happy?" I questioned

"Because we're going to the court to hang out tonight, so I suggest you hit the showers" She retorted.

"What?, dude first of all we just had a sleepover and second of all Immanuel watches us like a hawk" I stated.

"Well one of my sources told me that Immanuel won't be here for the rest of the week, so get your sweaty ass up and get ready" She said as she drags on a t shirt

"Your sources need to chill" I laughed heading towards the shower.

I took a hot bath and dragged on something breezy, I was finally ready. I came out of the closet

I mean, I came out of my room.

Alexis and I walked to the court without anyone batting an eye at us, I cant even remember the last time I was on a court, well I do, I was with my dad I was schooling him on that court. He blamed in on throwing his back out

"Hey sleepyhead, don't zone out on me" Alexis said snapping me out of it.

I shook my head in attempt to knock the sleepiness out, my eyes glanced around and saw everyone else approaching us, the more the merrier.

"How do you guys feel about the new Vice Principal?" Maddison asked.

"I feel like I've heard his name before" Abeke answered.

"Oh you mean the love of Immanuel's life?" Jade said. My eyes grew wide and my jaw fucking dropped to the floor

It finally clicked, that was the bestfriend in Immanuel's story.

"Wait, he told you about that on your first day too?" Abeke chuckled.

"I'm sure everyone has" Cam chuckled.

"What was his name again" Alexis asked while grabbing my phone.

"Ezekiel Channing, why?" Maddison responded.

"Well wouldn't you guys like to see your future Vice Principal" She answered.

"Damn, I'd smash, I underestimated Immanuel's type, he's got good taste" Abeke chuckled as she looked over Alexis's shoulder

We all rushed to see the picture, I thought he would be a douchebag but he didn't seem that way but looks are deceiving so.

Ah yes, the man low-key responsible for this entire school being formed in the first place
