Hayden's POV

Maybe it was the five beers but I was making my way over to Maddison who was walking over to a hidden section away from everyone.

Her back was against the wall while she held a beer in her hands hesitantly sipping

"Hey" I smile

"Hayde-" she pulled the bottle from her lips "Hi" her smile met mine

"You've got something there" I motion to her lips, trying my best not to reach over and kiss them

"Oh-" she wiped the liquid from her lips "Sorry" a silence fell upon us

"Thanks for bringing us out here, I know it's your special place, nice of you to share that with us" I say placing my back against the wall near her

"I'm sorry- about yesterday, I was spiraling-"

"Hey it's okay, you don't need to explain yourself, if friends is what you want then... I guess we'll be friends" I say,

Ofcourse I didn't just want to be her friend, but who am I to force myself onto someone

"Yeah.. Friends" she whispered

"So, are you and Danny a thing? Because you weren't trying to hide anything in the cafeteria" I spat, it hurt, she sat there making out with him while looking at me, it's pretty fucked up . She rubbed her temples

"There are no words that can describe how sorry I am about that" she sighed

"I guess I needed to prove to myself that was I was feeling was actually normal?"

"What were you feeling?" I questioned, my head was facing her

"Don't make me do this Hayden" she barely whispered

"Don't make you do what?" my finger found its way to her chin, I watch as her body reacted to my touch, her chest was rising heavily, her eyes were shut tight while her teeth bit down on her lips. This was killing me

Finally her eyes locked with mine

"Hayde-" I couldn't let her finish, I wanted her, I needed her in the moment

My lips crashed down on hers, God her lips.

Her back was pinned against the wall, my hand on waist holding her firmly. My knees felt weak, I'm surprised I was still standing

Our lips moved together in sync- wait is she actually kissing me back?

Her hands found my neck, pulling me deeper into our kiss, my knee accidentally grinded against her front and I felt her moan in my mouth

I hungrily kissed her, holding her closely like there was no tomorrow. I felt a shiver down my spine, butterflies erupted in my stomach. This was overwhelming

I pulled back, both of us panting for breath, our chest heaving heavily. Our eyes locked, her dilated pupils burning holes into mine. Wow

"Maddison, I'm so sorry I shouldn't have done that" I barley managed out

"It's okay" she whispered

"I.. I have to go, good night Hayden" she says before walking away

"Goddammit" I mumbled resting my forehead against the cold brick wall

I've never felt like that before, it was scaring me how one person can have so much control over you

"I think I'll head to bed too" I spun around to see Abeke and Isabella standing there

"Not my girlfriend MY ASS" she almost screamed

"Actually Danny and Maddi are kinda a thing right now, so I'm confused" Abeke says

"That makes two of us" I agreed, I have no idea what this was

"You're lucky your other girlfriend didn't see you guys, would have been a crazy cat fight" Isabella says before pulling me in the direction of everyone else

"So have you and Maddi kissed before?" Abeke asks curiously

"Um..."

"It's okay, you don't have to answer that" she smiles sweetly

"Hayden, ready to head to bed?" Alexis asks

"Deffinetly"

"Aight, goodnight everyone, it was great getting to learn more about you guys, get to bed safe" Alexis smiles and wave at everyone before joining me

"Where you been, you look shooken up?" she asks worriedly

"it's just been a long day" I sigh

We walked in silence, Alexis knew not to question me further. I have had it with surprises today

We reached to our dorm, Alexis waved at a security guard before unlocking the door

Once we were in, I headed straight to bed, I laid my tired body wherever I pleaded and was instantly out cold

Can't wait to return to my new normal tomorrow

The next day, the sun peeked through the window, I groaned before getting up

I went into the main room to see Alexis sitting on the kitchen table

"I need Advil's" she mumbles

"What you need is to get your ass off that table, I need to eat"

"Eat my ass then" she smirked

"I rather go a month without water"

"But I can wet your throa-"

"OKAY shut up" I groaned, she chuckled

She went to finish getting dressed, I took a shower and did the same. I buttoned my white shirt and fixed my tie in place

We both headed to the main hall where everyone gathered

"What's going on?" I randomly ask someone

"Immanuel has an announcement for us in the auditorium" I rolled my eyes, the man needed to used as a crash dummy

After a few minutes, Alexis and I finally got a seat in the auditorium, Immanuel was on stage being the clown he is. I noticed Maddison stood in the background, I totally forgot she was president of the Academy. She looked stunning, her red hair flowed over her chest, a gloss on her lips. She clutched a notebook to her chest.

"Good morning my children" Ew

"I've gathered you all here to make a special announcement, tomorrow will be a special day for all of us" she grinned

What was he up to

"I've arranged for us all to go on a small trip to the oldest religious structure that remains in our country"

Is he serious right now? We wants to take us to see a church?

"I hope everyone joins us tomorrow at 9am right here, we'll be spending a day on its grounds camping and the next learning more about our religion" he squeals excitedly. Woah there

"Thank you all for listening, now please get back to your assigned classes right away, try to contain your excitement as well as I am" sure Jan

I noticed everyone had mixed reactions, some were smiling while other scowled

"You wanna go?" Alexis asks

"Make it a group thing" I smile, it would be fun if we all went along

"I'll ask everyone, see you later Haydes" She says before leaving

Will I burn if I step foot in that church?
