Mark rushed back to the forest to inform the others about his update.

"New Problem, the Guardian witches will not be able to enter the forest for they have not asked permission from the Guardian Goblins" Mark quickly explained.

"We gotta hurry, she does not have a lot of time!" Eunwoo said.

"I cannot leave the forest with this curse! I have tried. It is not possible." Jennie confirmed their only way was to get them in.

"We need to get permission from the Guardian Goblins right now!" Namjoon exclaimed.

"As Jennie mentioned, if Y/n is with the Guardian Goblins, they are probably bound and are sealed into the restricted goblinorest! How will we contact them?" Jason asked confused.

"Kai! Yes, Kai! The youngest Goblin is a mediator, with this curse I cannot enter the restricted area of the goblinorest but he can go in and come out! Find him." Jennie quickly informed.

"Kai? Is that a goblin's name? Okay? Cool for a goblin but how do we summon this 'Kai'?" Jason questioned.

"Sup? Was I summoned?" a young voice said from behind the group, as Mark screamed at a sudden presence.

"Ahhh!! What!? Who are you? When did you come here? Go away, kid! Don't you know this place is a part of the goblinorest?" Mark tried to scare away the young man in front of him.

"Did you just call me a kid? Because I am a lot older than your whole species can ever be! And don't tell me that's what people tell the kids about this place as if it's haunted or something!" he said puffing.

"KAI!!" Jennie exclaimed out of relief.

"He is a goblin? Damn, he is fine for a goblin." Jason said checking him out.

"Thanks, Man." Kai said and winked at him.

"What was tha- you know what? I don't even care." Namjoon rolled his eyes in annoyance.

"Sup Jen- what is this weird aura around you?" Kai said walking towards Jennie feeling this weird sense of voidness encompassing her-the emptiness of her absence despite her presence.

"I cannot sense your presence in the Goblinorest" he said, moving his hand forward to touch Jennie when a dagger was shot at her chest. Jennie's breath wavered as she was about to fall to the ground but Kai caught her. He pulled out the dagger that penetrated her now cold dead body as warm blood dripped down it.

"What are you doing!" Eunwoo screamed at him.

"Silence." Kai said.

He made a small bounded region around the group. His eyes were shining emerald green as he chanted some spells without the use of any wand or magical weapons; goblins were the ones who were capable of making magical weapons and flourishing the capabilities of their work from the magic within them. The green color, the color of their magic represented nature. Goblins were beings with strong and pure elements of nature. Although they were mischievous beings, they loved mother earth after all and vowed to use their powers for the greater good, therefore forming the Guardian Goblins - a noble representative assembly to render this vitreous purpose.

Kai lay Jennie on the ground, right in the center of the bounded invisible region he formed. He sat on his knees and started to draw a sign on the ground as he continued to mumble some abrupt words to others' understanding. His fingers dug into the soft mud as they start to draw lines that were parallel followed by a circular-shaped body that intersected the parallel lines like tangents to it. He then drew a cross, connecting the two parallel lines and cutting the circle from between - like a diagonal. He drew the shape of an eye over it and the previously formed structure seemed to look like the iris to the newly added eye shape. He then drew smaller lines within the sclera and a netted pattern within the pupil. A technique that was used by one of the most ancient civilizations. The 'Optico Orb Tractatio', a manipulative technique that was used to treat or understand the treatment of curses in divergent ways, not being bound to this only attribute, this method was capable of a lot and dominantly a massive potential that remained to be unlocked, which took centuries of practice even for magical beings like Goblins themselves.

Kai then closed his shiny green eyes and it looked like he had unrecognizably put a lot of power into that symbol he drew, which was confirmed when he motioned his hands to the ground and then in the air. He let out a slight grunt and everyone noticed how the sign that he drew in the mud was now visibly in the air in front of them all, shining the brightest shade of green with a crystal effect, the tiny lines he drew formed the body of the 3-D green crystal eyes in front of them. The light reflected and diffracted through every tiny edge of the body; a very rare yet beautiful eye-catching event. He took a deep breath before splashing out the sign which spread like shiny fairy dust or crystals of glass bursting off in the sky.

Within the bounded region, something started to change, there was something different about its air that didn't quite seem to remain the same. Mark spotted Jennie standing beside him now. He wondered if Kai, the young goblin, had the ability to bring someone back to life or probably cure her from the fatigue curse.

"If Jennie is still lying on the ground then who is that standing beside me?" Mark questioned. Kai's eyes stopped shining and were back to the beautiful shade of light brown, as he looked at Jennie who was standing right in front of him with a very concerned look.

"Her soul." Kai remarked. Mark screamed for the second time. "I am not very fond of souls" he said shivering. He slowly walked in an unbothered way to fake his strength which had left his body a while ago and stood behind Eunwoo as a natural mechanism of feeling protected around him. Eunwoo indeed was someone who you could trust in any situation because he would always put the happiness of any of his loved ones before his own.

"Her soul is fading." Eunwoo said concerned.

"Yes, Yes it is." Kai said.

"Then do something, fast!" Jason screamed impatiently.

"I can't, us as goblins don't hold the power to bring people back to life or undo any sort of hex placed upon anyone through witchcraft." Kai explained.

"Then allow the Guardian Witches inside!!" Mark said from behind Eunwoo. Kai nodded and shortly after another few sets of chants, he opened his eyes again.

"Yep, they can enter the Goblinorest now." he said.

"I will go get them!" Mark started to run away once again glancing at the 'ghost' of Jennie. Kai motioned his hands horizontally from inside to out in the air and the whole bound dispersed around them. Jennie's soul was now gone.

"How did she get this hex, especially in the Goblinorest?" Kai questioned.

"The Three Cursed Witches, who we thought was a legendary myth, gave her that obnoxious curse." Namjoon replied.

"What- quick question before anything, why would you think they were a myth?" Kai asked genuinely confused.

"Well because that's what we were taught at the Academy." Namjoon replied.

"Jeez okay! They need to work on the content they teach, like bro what in TikTok trend is that 'legendary myth' shit?" Kai said rolling his eyes.

"SEE, EVEN HE GETS TO GO TO THE HUMAN WORLD!" Jason screamed and continued addressing Kai. "Bro, you know what? They also taught us that, you guys, as in the goblins look like these tiny, grotesque, monstrous creatures who are evil and naughty and whatnot but you look like one of the most good-looking people I have ever known!"

"WHAT!? ME AND GROTESQUE?" Kai screamed.

"He has probably been attending Jin hyung's overconfidence classes. At this point, who isn't?" Namjoon mumbled.

"Nah bro, that ain't me, they are probably talking about Beomgyu hyung and he is very naughty!" Kai blabbered laughing and paused.

"Please don't tell him, I said that" he said with a tense face continued by a nervous chuckle, scratching the back of his neck.

"Young Goblin, the 'Three Cursed Witches' entered your Goblinorest and cursed Jennie without your notice. I believe that is not possible." Eunwoo asked Kai.

"Yeah, that is what I was confused about because that isn't possible, even if someone thinks of my name in the forest I get to know about it in milliseconds." Kai said confused.

"Then how can this not be in your notice? Neither did you feel Jennie's presence in the forest nor did you know when the witches entered or leave the Goblinorest. That is concerning, given that even the Guardian Witches cannot enter or exit the forest without your permission and none of us or other beings use their magical powers." Namjoon summarised highlighting all his concerns.

"The evil woman? It has to be her!" Jason said.

"What?" Namjoon questioned.

"That woman! Who took Jimin and is connected to the Ichor Realm somehow? I feel it's her." Jason said with a very suspicious face.

"Yeah! Yeah! Jennie mentioned her! She was using powers in the Goblinorest which is not possible-" Kai connected Jason's suspicion with his information.

"Unless she is more powerful than you all - one of the most ancient magical beings or has her origins from before the species of Goblins." Namjoon completed Kai's sentence. There were a few moments of silence.

"It has indeed begun, Taehyun hyung was right." Kai said gripping his hair in worry.

"What? What has begun?" Eunwoo asked.

"I don't know what exactly!" Kai said.

"What do you mean you don't know?" Namjoon asked.

"I don't get told stuff only when it is VERY serious. Well, the other goblins say that they are trying to protect me or whatever but just know that if I don't know something, it is definitely serious." Kai said.

"Great, we have a goblin who doesn't know anything!" Namjoon exclaimed.

"Well, that's rude, you saw the cool stunt he did a few minutes ago didn't you?" Jason said Namjoon.

"Took me 157 years to learn that." Kai said smiling.

"Namjoon ain't wrong though, Young Goblin doesn't exactly know what is going on and without that information, it is really hard for us to figure out what we should be doing?" Eunwoo sides with Namjoon.

"Finally, Thank you." Namjoon said.

"I could probably get the information for you." Kai said.

"Judging by the restrictions the other goblins have on your access to information, it doesn't seem like a straight take to me?" Jason said.

"Well, who said I will go beg them to tell me what's going on? Curiosity is getting the best out of me." Kai smirked.

"I like this man. He is so cool." Jason said with a huge smile to find someone who would entertain his chaotic weird behavior.

"Jason, one, he is a Goblin; Young Goblin, two, curiosity killed the cat." Namjoon said looking at both of them with a straight face.

"Okay and? I am not a cat?" Kai said confused.

"That is a phrase!" Namjoon said.

"Yoongi is still alive!" Jason continued.

"Yoongi is not a cat and especially not a curious one." Namjoon said face palming.

"Exactly, so why am I the cat?" Kai questioned.

"Shut up everyone, even you, young goblin." Eunwoo looked at everyone with a stern look.

Kai whispered to Jason, "What's up with this guy? Why is he so" Kai mimicked an angry face that looked more hilarious, than furious.

"He is just like that don't mind him." he whispered back.

"Did I hear something there?" Eunwoo asked looking at the duo.

"Yes, Yes I was asking why is Jennie taking longer than usual?" Jason questioned.

"It is because her soul is dying and each time she dies, it will take her longer to be back." Kai explained, concerning everyone, once again.

Soon Irene the Guardian Cosmic Witch, the oldest member of the Guardian Witches, and Mark had reached them. Jennie was coming their way too.

"Mark, look! Look behind you." Jason said mentally giggling as he saw Jennie at a distance.

"Please tell me that's not her ghost anymore" Mark said chills running down his spine but smiling to keep it cool.

"It's not!" Namjoon said calmly.

"You are no fun." Jason rolled his eyes at Namjoon.

Irene bowed a little looking at Kai expressing her gratitude and respect towards him as a Guardian Goblin and Kai did the same.

"Greetings, Young Goblin." Irene said.

"Sup- I mean, Greetings, Miss Witch! Thank you so much for being present here today. I request you to take a look at the hex placed on our friend Jennie and undo it." Kai said trying to get out of his human slang which he was exposed to for a very long time now.

"Would be my pleasure, in return, could I also make a request to take a few petals of the 'Gobliflora Glardiana', it is very rare you see, and as Witches, being able to use them without your permission is forbidden." she asked Kai to which he smiled and nodded approving her request. Witches usually did favors in return for something and that was a legacy that has been followed for ages.

"How long do you think I have now?" was the first question Jennie asked before catching her breath when she reached them.

"5 days, give or take." Kai said connecting his lips to express his concerns and looking down.

Irene walked towards Jennie and stood parallel, right in front of her. Irene held out her hand to touch Jennie's forehead; she placed two fingers on Jennie's forehead. Jennie was nervous and took a deep breath, unsure of what awaited her. Irene closed her eyes and mumbled some spells when her eyes opened again there was darkness. Jennie looked deep into her eyes to see her eyes weren't dark voids but had celestial bodies within them, as she kept looking into her eyes she could see tiny planets and a sun.

It moved further towards a planet that looked like Earth with all the known continents and oceans; it further continued to show her a huge forest in specifically there area she was most familiar with in the whole world - the light and dark Kingdoms. It zoomed into a forest, which was the goblinorest, and then she could see the whole group and herself with Irene standing in a view that looked like she was looking at themselves from above. Irene's eyes rolled behind her head, the earth revolved reverse, and she could see the three cursed witches in Irene's eyes, back to the time stamp when she was jinxed by them. The vision in her eyes continued Irene gasped and Jennie visibly looked scared from what she just saw in her eyes. Jennie screamed and Irene blinked at the sudden sound; but this time when Irene opened her eyes, they were back to the darkest shade of black with the perfect white sclera. Irene stepped back and looked at everyone with fear on her face.

"I- I don't think I could cure or reverse this abstruse curse..."
