[46] Awards ceremony
Isa spotted me in the hallway the next morning, her face turning red as the memories of her drunken confession resurfaced. She nervously approached him, trying her best to maintain her composure.
"Uhm, Kard?" Isa stuttered, fiddling with her hands. "Do you... do you remember what I said to you last night?"
I scratched his head, trying to recall their conversation. "Well, you were pretty drunk, Isa. I couldn't really understand what you were trying to say. Why? Was it something important?"
Isa felt a mix of relief and frustration, her face flushed. "N-no, it's... it's nothing," she said, struggling to hide her embarrassment. "Just forget about it."
I looked at her quizzically but decided not to press the issue further. "Alright, if you say so. Let me know if you need to talk about anything, okay?"
Isa nodded, her heart pounding in her chest. "Yeah, thanks, Kard," she mumbled.
"Anyways, we got an awards ceremony to attend to today. Let's get ready now." I said.
"Oh...Yes, of course." Isa fumbled. Which was quite unusual of itself, but I didn't think too much about it, as I went to my own room and got dressed in my uniform for the ceremony.

We made our way to the award ceremony, excitement and anticipation in the air. Monomi took the stage, her voice amplified for everyone to hear.
"Ladies and gentlemen, it's time to honor the outstanding achievements of our top three teams in this year's International institute of magic and technology summer games! Please give a round of applause for our exceptional competitors!"
The audience erupted into cheers and applause as Monomi continued.
"In third place, representing Team Elemental, please welcome Lea!"
Lea, a proud and determined elemental with short ginger hair and green dress, stepped onto the podium, a smile gracing her face. The crowd clapped enthusiastically as she waved, acknowledging their support.
"In second place, representing the esteemed Student Council team, please welcome Veritas!"
Veritas gracefully approached the podium, a warm smile on her face. The audience cheered as she bowed her head in gratitude, accepting her team's second-place honor.
"And finally, in first place, representing the Iron Angel division, let's give a big round of applause to Kardusenn!"
I stepped up to the podium, his heart swelling with pride as the audience roared with applause. He waved to the crowd, his teammates beaming with pride from their seats.
"Congratulations to all our winners and competitors! You've demonstrated immense skill, determination, and teamwork throughout the tournament, and we couldn't be prouder of your accomplishments!" Monomi exclaimed, as the audience continued to cheer for the victorious teams.
"Now they will ride the chariots of triumph and perform a victory lap around the academy!" Just as Monomi announced, a team of magnificent flying chariot was presented before us, its intricate design and polished surface glistening under the sun.
The chariot was pulled by a team of majestic Pegasus, their wings flapping gracefully, their muscles rippling beneath their glossy coats. Me and my teammates marveled at the sight, exhilarated by the unique experience ahead. The four of us climbed into the chariot, once our seatbelts were fastened, the pegasus driver took hold of the reigns and ushered the horse to take action. It started with a charge, and slowly the chariot began to climb in altitude.
As the Pegasus began to take flight, the chariot gently lifted off the ground, soaring higher and higher into the sky. Me and my teammates gripped the sides of the chariot, their eyes wide with excitement and awe. Below them, the entire school had gathered to watch the spectacle, cheering and clapping for their victorious team.
The chariot glided smoothly through the air, making its way around the school grounds in a celebratory lap of honor. Me and my teammates waved at the crowds below, beaming with pride and delight. The cheers and applause from the students and faculty only grew louder, echoing across the campus.
The Pegasus maneuvered effortlessly through the sky, their powerful wings carrying the chariot with ease. The wind rushed past Me and my teammates, their hair billowing behind them as they reveled in the moment.
As the chariot continued to glide through the sky, Me and my teammates took turns waving and chatting with each other, basking in the glory of their victory.
I turned to Isa, smiling warmly as I recalled their incredible teamwork during the final match. "We couldn't have done it without you, Isa."
Isa blushed but smiled back. "It was a team effort."
Rumble chimed in, "Yeah, that was some big brain plan, Kard. You really showed her who's boss."
Kuro nodded in agreement, adding, "And we can't forget about Biggy's brave sacrifice to protect us all."
"For Biggy." I held one fist to my heart.
"For Biggy." Isa, Kuro and Rumble did the gesture as well.
As the chariot slowly descended back to the ground, we continued to chat and celebrate our triumph. Our bond had only grown stronger throughout the competition, and we knew we could rely on each other for future challenges. Together, we had proven that they were a formidable team, and we couldn't wait to see what the future had in store for us.
