[27] Bar fight

At the center of the boxing ring inside the bar, Kuro, a random guy and the announcer stood in the stage. All around them, the crowd began to place down bets.

"50 dollars on Billy! Women don't stand a chance in the arena!" one guy said.

"I will place 1 dollar on the girl, I feel bad for her, she's got a pretty look." another guy said.

"100 on Kuro." Kat said, slamming down a fistful of dollars.

"Same!" Vic said, slamming down a wad of cash.

"200 for Kuro." Isa said, slamming down a bunch of cash.

The onlookers were surprised, few even burst out laughing.

"Laugh all you want boy, you won't be laughing when you lose all your money." Kat closed her eyes and said with a casual smile.

"We'll see about that!" one guy said.

Then the announcer spoke up:

"First up, we have Billy the king! A regular at the warriors, 3 time bar fight champion!" the announcer then turned to Kuro and said:

"And here we have a girl! We don't get a lot of them in the ring, but its always nice to see one. What's your name miss?" the announcer held the microphone in front of Kuro.

"Kuro." she said with a plain voice.

"Well, there you heard it folks! Let's give it a round of applause for the newcomer Kuro!" the announcer said.

Instead of applauding, the crowd whistled and hooted.

"Alright, the fight will begin in 10 seconds." the announcer said, high above the ring were four monitors and they displayed the countdown timer.

Billy, a burly man with a scruffy beard, smirked at Kuro and boasted, "You sure you want to do this, sweetheart? I don't want to hurt that pretty face of yours."

Kuro rolled her eyes and responded, "Save your breath. You'll need it when I'm done with you."

The crowd around them roared with excitement as the timer on the screen hit zero and the bell rang out.

As the match began, Kuro kept her composure and analyzed her opponent. The burly man charged at her with a wild haymaker, clearly underestimating her abilities. Kuro swiftly sidestepped the attack, positioning herself behind the man in the blink of an eye.

Before the man could even react, Kuro delivered a powerful punch to the back of his head, right at the base of his skull. The force of the impact caused the man's eyes to roll back, and he crumpled to the ground like a ragdoll, unconscious from the perfectly executed strike.

The crowd gasped and then erupted in cheers, impressed by Kuro's lightning-fast takedown of her opponent.

"You go girl!" Kat pumped her fist into the air.

"Yeah! Kick his ass!" Vic cheered as she did a kick, almost kicking on the standby. "Sorry!" she apologized.

The bar fight competition continued, and it was the girls' turn to showcase their skills. Vic, Isa, and Kat stepped into the ring one after the other, facing their respective opponents with confidence and determination.

Vic went up against a tall, lanky man with a scrappy fighting style. She expertly dodged his flurry of punches and kicks, finally catching his arm and twisting it into an armlock. The man winced in pain and tapped out, signaling his defeat.

Isa faced a more experienced fighter with a background in martial arts. However, her years of training and unmatched discipline gave her the edge she needed. She swiftly closed the distance between them and delivered a series of powerful knee strikes to her opponent's midsection, eventually sending him crumpling to the ground, unable to continue.

Kat let her opponent punch her for a straight 10 seconds. During this time Kat's expression remained bored as she stood in her spot unflinching.

"That's all you got darling? I guess it's my turn now." Kat said, as she threw a regular punch at the man, sending him flying 3 meters away, and instantly knocking him out cold.

The whole bar was speechless, some of the guys who previously made lewd remarks, began gulping.

"Looks like all the ladies made it to the semi-finals, and this it the first ever time in Warrior history, where there are only girls in the  semi-finals. This night will be remembered and will be going down in Warrior history!" the announcer said. The crowd erupted into cheering.

"We will be back in 15 minutes!" the announcer said.

As Kat exited the ring, the other girls came to her.

"You're so strong big sis!" Vic's eyes gleamed.

"It's nothing. I only hit him with a quarter of my strength there." Kat rubbed her noes with her forefinger then winked.

"Looks like the only competition we got left is ourselves." Kat grinned.

"I wonder who will be matched up with who." Vic said with anticipation.

High above on the monitor it displayed the matchup for the semi-finals:

Kuro vs Isa
