6~ Mysterious Crowley
This image is the closest idea I could find on Pinterest of what Crowley looks like. I had the hardest time finding the right appearance for him. I mean, literal years.

"Professor Crowley?!" Diana questions stunned as she looks at him. He smiles kindly and stares at Diana with familiarity. Diana holds her sweater closer against her and stares at him suspiciously. "I wasn't doing anything. I was aimlessly walking and ended up near The Wall." Diana says even though he never asked her what her purpose was.
"I see. Although, I'm not surprised. Many of our generation and younger are curious as to what lies outside of The Wall. Sadly, only a few are allowed outside of the walls. Would you believe me if I told you that I have never been outside either?" Crowley questions Diana, who keeps watching him. She wonders what will come after this sudden casual conversation he is trying to have. How much trouble is she in?
"I'm not curious. I just. . . You're one of the Five Elite of Artemia and the army, so why not? Aren't you participating in battles outside?" Diana questions, changing the subject and going back to him. She's not sure why he's speaking with her since they have never spoken before. Unlike her, though, he speaks to her with familiarity, almost like as if they were some sort of acquaintance.
"They don't seem to trust me, much like yourself." Crowley says to Diana, watching every reaction she has.
"I never said that!" She says defensively. Crowley chuckles a bit and walks up to Diana and puts his hands to her shoulders.
"Miss Green. . .Diana, I am not your enemy. I understand your desire to go outside of The Wall. We shouldn't be required to fight for a country that isn't ours." He tells her with all seriousness. Diana's eyes widen, and she feels her heart skip a beat.
"Wh-what?! You're not from Artemia?!" She questions, surprised.
"Ah, looks like you don't know yourself then." He says to her, releasing her shoulders and smiling again. Before she can answer him, Crowley grabs her arm and shoves her over some bushes. She yelps and barely catches her head from hitting the grassy ground.
"Sir Crowley, what are you doing out here?" Diana pauses in her attempt to rise as she hears the voices of the patrolling soldiers. She gulps and keeps down, realizing Crowley had saved her from getting caught.
"I was bored and decided to hear if there have been any incidents during your watch." Crowley lies to them with ease.
"No, sir, it's been quiet. Well, other than the two missing soldiers we've been looking into. We still have no word about their location or anything. We shall continue to investigate, sir!" They inform him, saluting him. He nods his head and waves.
"Alrighty, keep up the good work, men!" He says with a bright smile and leaves them. They watch him go before going back to patrol.
Diana waits for them to disappear before she climbs over the bushes and jogs back to Acacia Academy. She doesn't even wait to see if Crowley would come back to her and try to talk to her some more.

"Miss Green. . .Diana, I am not your enemy. I understand your desire to go outside of The Wall. We shouldn't be required to fight for a country that isn't ours."
"That's what he said. So then, who on earth is Crowley? Where does he come from if he's not from Artemia? And why did he tell me all of that?" Diana thinks to herself as she walks distractedly through campus, waiting for her classes to start.
"Diana? You alright?" She jumps startled as Chelsea stands in front of her. She pauses in her tracks and looks up at Chelsea.
"Sorry, I was lost in thought." Diana says to Chelsea, still a bit distracted from earlier. Chelsea frowns a bit in concern.
"I see, but anyway, I just wanted to see how you were feeling after yesterday's training? Lori told me all about it." She says to Diana, who blushes a bit.
"I feel fine now. My body was just throbbing lightly, but it's nothing to worry about." Diana assures Chelsea who relaxes. She looks past Chelsea and notices that Mary is there. She quickly closes up as she and the auburn haired girl meet gazes. Chelsea notices Diana's shift and becomes concerned that her two friends don't seem to get along.
"Uh, by the way, Diana, do you have classes today?" Chelsea questions her, trying to ease the tension. Diana looks back over at Chelsea with a serious look and nods her head.
"Yeah, I have my labs back to back today." Diana tells Chelsea, who nods her head.
"What are your labs about?" She asks her again, hoping to bring Diana back to herself.
"The first one is medical treatment from the mummy plagues, and the second one is anatomy of the monsters to find new and more efficient ways to kill them." Diana tells Chelsea, who nods her head and smiles a bit.
"Looks like we all have the same classes, but with different levels of difficulty, I suppose. The higher you are, the more you know." Chelsea says to her, and Diana nods her head. Diana looks at her cellphone and gasps as she notices the time. She waves at Chelsea and Mary before rushing off to her class.
"Mary, you could at least pretend to put up a pleasant face. I don't see why you dislike her, other than the obvious. She's a good person, and it's not her fault Dean happens to have feelings for her." Chelsea says to Mary, making her glare.
"I can't help it. The more I know her, the less I like her. I don't see why you three are even bothering to befriend someone who would rather be lonely." Mary says angrily, and Chelsea shakes her head at her.
"Nobody likes to be lonely, Mary. Sure, some like their solitude more than others, but they don't want to be lonely. Diana doesn't want to be lonely. She just had to learn to tolerate it for a very long time. Now we're here, and we want to help her not feel lonely like Dean was for most of his childhood." Chelsea says to Mary, who keeps glaring at the ground.
"I need time to accept her, Chelsea. I don't know if I can find a way to ever like her." Mary tells Chelsea honestly. The blackette sighs and looks at Mary disapprovingly. Mary ignores her look and glares over her head. Chelsea sighs and then looks over to see Lori jogging towards them. She hugged Chelsea first before hugging Mary.
"Come on, Mary! It's time for us to head over towards class!" Lori says happily and drags Mary away. Chelsea watches them go and pushes her glasses up.
"Okay, Dean, you can stop hiding now." She says, and the blond flinches at the blackette's perceptiveness and steps out from behind the tree he was hiding behind. He walks over towards her as they watch Mary and Lori disappear into the GCW building.
"So, what were you doing hiding?" Chelsea questions him. She notices Dean's cheeks turn pink as he fidgets with his fingers.
"Um, well. . .after something Lori said yesterday. . . I feel kind of embarrassed near Diana now. A-are my feelings that obvious?!" Dean questions Chelsea, who giggles and nods her head at him. He puts his hands to his cheeks and begins to pat them.
"I hope I don't scare her away! Wh-what if she completely cuts me out of her life once she hears that I have growing feelings for her?!" Dean panics, and Chelsea chops his head.
"Relax, Dean. I seriously doubt she is going to do that. Open your eyes and look at her dummy." Chelsea tells him as she pats his shoulder sympathetically. Dean looks at her a bit confused.
"I'm not telling. You two need to figure it out for yourselves." She tells him, and Dean pouts. Chelsea shakes her head at him and then notices his expression become serious.
"Mary really hates Diana, doesn't she?" Dean questions Chelsea, having heard her earlier. She nods her head sadly and sighs heavily.
"Sadly, that is true. I wish our two friends would get along." Chelsea says to Dean, who nods his head, feeling sad as well.
"I wonder why she doesn't like that I have feelings for Diana." Dean says to himself, and Chelsea looks at him in disbelief.
"Dean, you are dangerously dense sometimes." Chelsea scolds him. He puts his hands up in surrender and feels confused.
"I-I'm sorry! It's hard for me to read people! I only understand if they tell me things directly." Dean says, making Chelsea sigh. There's a lot of social skills and social cues he misses out on due to going most of his life being homeschooled. She shakes her head and drags him to one of the lonely stone benches near the GCW building.
"Okay, I'll help you. Dean, why do you think Mary would dislike Diana because you are trying to befriend her? Don't talk. Just think first. Here's a clue, she doesn't dislike Lori or me even though we're your girl friends as well." Lori tells him, trying to put emphasis on trigger words. Dean crosses his arms and closes his eyes.
"Hmmm?" Chelsea sits back, pulls out a book, and begins to read. She knows it'll take her friend a while to figure it out. When she catches him about to open his mouth, she stops him, telling him he's wrong.
"Because she likes me as more than just a friend?" Dean says as Chelsea finishes her book two hours later. She looks over at him.
"Are you sure?" Chelsea questions, Dean. He uncrosses his arms and nods his head.
"Yeah, I think so. I kind of realize the way Mary treats me is kinda how I treat Diana. Wanting to be close to her, to make her happy, and even just to have her look at me." Dean says with a heavy sigh and rests his elbows on his knees before putting his cheeks on his hands. Chelsea smiles and looks over Dean's head at a wide-eyed Diana.
"But I'm afraid she'll push me out of her life if I ever tell her that I'm falling hard. I. . . I'm fine with just staying by her side, even if I never tell her how I feel." Dean says sadly as he stares at the cracks on the brick walkway.
"Why don't you ask her then? She's right over there." Dean bolts up and looks around before spotting Diana, who stares at him with wide eyes. He gulps as he realizes that she heard him.
"Diana, I-" She runs off and he watches her go, but he wants to run after her.
"What are you waiting for, man?! If you don't tell her properly, you'll never know how she feels!" Chelsea says to him as she pushes him forward. He looks back at her, confused, and she pushes him further before he starts to move and goes after Diana, being a little glad that Diana isn't the best runner. He reaches his hand out as he slowly reaches Diana.
Before he can get a hold of her, she ends up tripping, and Dean quickly rushes over to help her up, but she doesn't budge from the ground, using her hair to hide her face. Dean looks at her worriedly as she remains in place.
"Diana, please say something." Dean begs her as he lets her go. Diana stands up and puts her hand out to him but doesn't face him. He takes her hand and stands up, waiting for her to say something. He looks down and notices scrapes through the ripped areas of her knee-high socks.
"Diana, you're hurt! We should clean up -" She pulls him along and starts to walk out of Acacia Academy with him. He watches her back, wondering where she is leading him. He tenses as he realizes that they're getting closer to The Wall. She releases his hand and she stands with her back to him as she looks towards the direction of the first gate that is a distance away from them, a safe enough distance to keep them out of trouble.
"Why did you say that now? I wanted to escape Artemia and find out who I am. I was dead set on it ever since I can remember. I had nobody to hold me back. . . so why did you have to come into my life and give me a reason to stay?!" Diana yells out as she finally turns to look at him with tears streaming down her face. Dean jumps a bit, unsure of what to say to her, and isn't sure how to comfort her.
"I'm not like this! I haven't believed in love at first sight ever since I was twelve! So why?! Why do you keep crossing my mind when I had gone so long, never needing to feel anything like this at all?! Before, when I'd stand here, I'd have no hesitation of escaping, but now. . . now I don't know if I want to go!" She yells out at Dean. He walks up to the blackette and wraps his arms around her.
"I'm sorry, but. . . but I'm happy that I met you and have managed to give you a reason to stay. A reason to feel like you belong." Dean says as he smiles into her hair. Diana blushes, and her eyes widen at his comment.
"A reason to feel like I belong?" Diana thinks to herself as she stares over Dean's shoulder at The Wall. It blurs with her tears, and then she wraps her arms around him, burying her face on his shoulder. He rubs her back gently and holds her in silence.
"I don't really remember what it feels like to like someone, but I think this is it. I think that every day I become closer to him. . . I like him even more. At this rate. . . I could fall in love with him." Diana thinks to herself as she calms down a bit and looks up at Dean. He smiles down at the blackette and wipes away her leftover tears from her cheeks.
"Diana, just give me more time. Just a little more to help you believe... No, to believe in me. I'll do the best I can to make sure you don't feel alone again." He says with a warm smile. Diana's heart skips a beat, and she drops her forehead gently onto his chest.
"Dean, I'm scared of falling. I'm scared that I'll hope too much." She says quietly. Dean puts his hand on top of her head and kisses the top of her head as well.
"Don't be afraid. I'll catch you." He tells her. Diana chuckles a bit and looks up at him with a sincere smile.
"We're being so cheesy right now. We're so weird." Diana says, and Dean chuckles as well, nodding in agreement.
"Speaking of cheese, wanna grab a bite to eat?" He tells her. Diana frowns a bit and crosses her arms.
"Dean, you sure know how to bribe me with food." Diana says, making Dean grin. He takes her hand and starts to pull her along, but Diana winces and stops. She looks down and remembers her injured knees. Dean looks down as well and kneels down to look at them.
"Ouch, you fell hard. Come on, I'll carry you back to a pharmacy so I can treat your knees." Dean says to the blackette who blushes brightly and shakes her head.
"I'm wearing the uniform skirt that could show my underwear!" Diana says to Dean. Now it's his turn to blush brightly.
"Uh, okay. . . how about you stay here and I'll get a first aid kit. And maybe some pants so you don't reopen your injuries." Dean says to Diana. She nods her head and leans against a tree. He smiles and goes in his phone for a bit before handing it to Diana.
"Give me your number so I can call you and tell you how far I am." He tells her. Diana nods her head, taking his phone and putting in her number. She hands it back to him, and he looks at her number before nodding content. He waves at Diana and leaves in a sprint. She watches him go and groans a bit.
"No wonder he caught up to me so easily. I should practice on my running." Diana mutters to herself before she sighs and looks up at the darkening blue sky. She smiles a bit and recalls the moments with Dean.
"A reason to feel like I belong. Dean, Lori, and Chelsea sure do know how to make me feel like I belong. Although, Mary is a completely different story. I don't know if I should feel bad or not that I want to be the one in Dean's heart." Diana thinks to herself. She brushes her hair back and hears the sound of fast approaching footsteps. She smiles and looks back down.
"De-" Her words are cut short as she is pinned against the tree by someone who isn't Dean. He is a man at his same height, but he has long, messy blond hair.
"Give me your blood!" He says in a raspy tone. Diana starts to scream and struggle as the vampire tears at her blazer and tries to gain access to her neck. She finds her fear growing as she finds herself unable to fight off the immense strength of a vampire. She thinks of her friends, feeling like she'll never see them again.
"No, no, no! I won't die! I won't die and lose my first real friends!" Diana yells out, and she manages to find her own inhuman strength and kicks the vampire off of her. He falls to the ground and tries to get up quickly, but Diana holds him down with her foot on his chest. Her gray eyes are hard, and she has a sharp piece of a broken tree branch in her hand.
"Die!" She stakes him through the heart, and she only hears one short pained scream before he falls limp to the ground, slowly turning to dust under the pressure of Diana's foot. She watches him turn to dust and moves her dusty shoe back.
"Amazing." Diana returns to her senses and turns to the source of the voices. Her eyes widen as she sees the guards with their machetes in hand. She looks to her own hand and sees the branch dirty with black blood. She drops it and wipes her clean hands on her torn blazer.
"You'll be coming with us. We need your report on this incident, student." One of the soldiers says to her. Diana shakes her head and tries to back away, but her body throbs in pain, and she finds her legs have become weak.
The soldiers take advantage of this, and each grabs her arms and half carries and half drags her towards the main base unit of the Flat-Topped Acacia. They take her into an interrogation room, taking away her phone and wallet and putting a handcuff on her left wrist and the other to a chair.
"What are you doing?! Let me go! Why am I the one being treated like a criminal?!" Diana says helplessly, wishing she had the strength to break free. She also wishes that the pain in her body would disappear.
"I hardly did anything. Why do I feel so weak?!" Diana thinks to herself, waiting alone in the interrogation room. She looks at her wrist and weakly tries to pull her hand out. It doesn't work at all. The cuff is tightly bound to her wrist.
"Dean. . ." Diana calls out weakly for the blond and is startled by the interrogation room door being opened by another soldier, and then she sees the commanding general of Flat-Topped Acacia enter. He is a tall, bony man with orange hair tied back into a short pony tail. He has sharp blue eyes that seem to pierce everything he looks at. He looks at the weakened Diana and stands across from her with the table between them. Diana casts her dull eyes up at the older man.
"Alright, it's time for you to answer a few questions. I need you to answer me with the truth and nothing but the truth, do you understand?" He questions in a high-pitched voice. Diana mouths some words, but they are unable to hear her.
"Speak up, girl." He orders her. Diana slowly sits up, but the pain of the movement is obvious in her pained expression. She looks up at the skeletal man and manages to find her voice.
"I won't answer anything without Professor Crowley being here." She tells him, wanting to find out if she can trust him or not like he had said the night prior. The bony man frowns, but Diana's gaze doesn't falter. He shakes his head and then quietly tells the soldier to contact Crowley. Diana sighs, relieved, and tries to ignore the pain in her body.
Both men step out and leave Diana alone.
"Why won't they give me anything?! My body hurts so much! I need the painkillers!" Diana screams in her mind as she tries not to move. That's the only time her body doesn't hurt as much. She waits for what feels like an eternity and looks up, feeling that most of the pain is gone. She sees the same men return along with Crowley. Crowley walks up to her and kneels down to look up at her.
"What happened, Miss Green? Are you in pain?" Crowley questions Diana, who nods her head. He motions for the lower ranking soldier, ordering him to bring some water as he pulls out painkillers from his pocket and pours out two green capsules into the lid.
"Here, these should instantly make you feel better. They're a lot more helpful than the over-the-counter painkillers people have access to." He assures her, his silvery-blue eyes looking at her with genuine concern.
"Is that specially designed for whatever is wrong with me?" She questions him. He smiles and takes the glass of water from the soldier and helps her take the capsules and drink the water. She waits for a bit and feels the pain in her body going away almost immediately. She tries to move, but the rattle of the handcuff makes her pause.
"Why am I being treated like I just committed a crime? I was attacked by a vampire and defended myself." Diana questions Crowley as quietly as possible. She feels offended and a bit scared by the treatment. Crowley frowns a bit as he notices those emotions expressed on her face and tone of voice.
"Hey now, I'm the one who is going to be doing the questioning. So you will cooperate so we can get you out of here as soon as possible." The bony man says to Diana, who frowns and glares over at the bony man who tenses a bit at her cold gaze. Crowley smiles discreetly and then composes himself, looking at the bony man seriously.
"Captain Brown, there is no need to be so hard on her. She's only a student who is only in the Vachellia Nilotica section. She has no military involvement yet." Crowley says to him, and Captain Brown glares at him, making him look snobby.
"Mister Crowley, I would appreciate it if you did not interfere with my interrogation methods. You have no right to speak against me until you choose a military faction." He says to him just as snobby as he looks. Crowley smiles, but his own eyes harden as well. Captain Brown feels a greater intimidation than he did with Diana. He clears his throat and looks back at Diana.
"Let's begin. Is your full name Diana Green?" He questions her. She nods her head but keeps up her hard stare.
"You are a current student at Acacia Academy in your final year of Vachellia Nilotica section?" He questions her, and she nods her head again. Captain Brown crosses his arms over his chest and then nods.
"Now, what were you doing near The Wall?" He questions her. Diana doesn't respond. She doesn't want to tell him about the moment she and Dean shared since she'll have to get into the fact that she wants or rather wanted to leave Artemia.
"Answer me, girl!" Diana jumps startled as Captain Brown smacks his long and bony hands on the metal table.
"I couldn't go any further since I hurt my knees and could reopen the wounds on them. Speaking of which, my friend was supposed to go to the pharmacy and get a first-aid kit for me." Diana tells him as she looks down at her knees. The soldier pulls her seat back at Captain Brown's cue, and they look at her bruised and scrapped knees.
"We will need to interrogate your friend. It's very suspicious that you two were so close to-"
"I won't let you near him! He has nothing to do with it! I was the one who pulled him along to talk!" Diana yells out angrily at Captain Brown. He jumps back, startled by her outburst. Crowley puts his hand to her shoulder and keeps her seated back. Diana looks over at him and sits back down.
"Well, Captain, as you can see, she was not doing anything wrong. You're being too cautious with the students who are the future of Artemia. Now, how about you release her and let her go. I'm sure she has classes to study for." Crowley says as he breaks her handcuff with his bare hands. Even Diana jumps startled by his action.
"Hmph, I will be reporting this to the government heads, Mister Crowley." Captain Brown says. Crowley drops the handcuff and looms over the slightly shorter man. He smiles coldly, making the bony man stiffen.
"Do what you like. Come with me, Miss Green. I will walk you back to the dormitory." Crowley says as he walks past Captain Brown. Diana takes her things from the soldier and glares at him before going after Crowley. They walk in silence until they exit the base and return to the area Diana had been taken from.
"Thank you for coming to help me, Professor Crowley." Diana says, breaking the silence. Crowley stops and looks back at Diana with a smile.
"Of course, I did say I was your ally. You see, we have a lot in common. More than you can possibly imagine." Crowley tells her as he puts his hand to the top of her head. She looks at him, surprised and is about to question him, but her phone goes off. She looks down at it and sees fifty missed calls from the same unknown number.
"Ah, this must be Dean! Crap!" Diana says as she quickly answers the call.
"I'm so sorry! I-" Her apology is interrupted as Dean goes off on how worried he was about her. She begins to hear his voice and sees him walking around the area. He goes by a couple of times before he finally notices Diana. He puts his phone away in his blazer pocket and runs over to hold the blackette tightly.
"Diana, what happened?! Where did you go?!" Dean questions Diana, pulling back to look over her. His eyes widen as he realizes her uniform is torn. She covers his mouth and smiles a bit.
"I'm fine, Dean. I almost got attacked by a vampire, but I kicked its butt and then I was taken to Flat-Topped Acacia base and went through some interrogation for being so close to The Wall. But, thankfully, Professor Crowley came to help me out." Diana tells Dean. He blinks in surprise and realizes for the first time that Crowley is there. He smiles and waves at a surprised Dean.
"Professor Crowley, why did you come to Diana's assistance? You're a suspicious person who is being watched carefully by the higher ups." Dean says as he puts Diana behind him. Diana looks between the two men, taken aback by the sudden situation.
"Well, I'm not surprised the heir of Acacia Academy would also be suspicious of me. But don't worry, Dean Acacia, I have no intention of doing anything against the place I have lived in all of my life." Crowley says, keeping up the smile. Diana's eyes widen, and she takes a step back.
"Acacia? D-Dean Acacia?" She questions stunned as Dean looks back at Diana with a sad expression.
"Yes, I'm the only son of Chandler Acacia. . . Dean Acacia." Dean says to her, smiling sadly. Diana puts a hand to her head and stares at Dean like as if he had become a stranger all of a sudden. She turns away from him and walks away as quickly as possible.
"Diana, wait!" Dean calls out, but Crowley puts his arm out, stopping Dean from going after her. Dean pauses and glares over at Crowley, who smiles, but his silver-blue eyes are cold. Dean's eyes widen as he feels a sense of familiarity as he looks into his cold eyes.
"Dean Acacia, your family had better be careful. Diana and I will not let the Acacia family control our lives. I will not let any of your family force her to battle for Artemia. I know her dream, and I will help her accomplish it." Crowley tells him with all seriousness. He puts his arm down and begins to walk away from Dean. Dean watches him go and stays in place.
"Crowley. . . What the hell is he talking about? My family. . . do they know something about Diana and Crowley?" Dean thinks to himself. He clenches his hands and goes to grab the phone from his pocket. He picks it up and pushes the speed dial number two, and waits for a few rings before he hears a response.
"Aunt Caroline, may I come over to your office tomorrow to talk about some important things?"
~0~
"Acacia?! Dean is the son of the Headmaster?! Why didn't he say anything before?!" Diana starts to see Acacia Academy from a distance as she continues to run towards that direction. "What if he tells his father about what I told him?! What if I can't leave Artemia like I had planned?!" The questions continue to roll out in Diana's head. She regrets that she has become vulnerable with Dean now that she knows who he truly is.
Diana steps up to the gate of the academy and looks up at it. "I can't be stuck her forever if Dean tells his family what I said... But... Dean is not that kind of person. He hasn't shown to be that kind of person. Maybe I'm wrong, though?" A turmoil begins to push itself through Diana's muddled mind as she sways from side to side towards the dorm.
She is beginning to feel dizzy, and her injured knees are starting to bother her. She looks down, leaning over slightly to see that her knees are bleeding again. Diana is unable to stop herself from continuing to tip forward, and she ends up falling all the way to the ground.
"Huh? What's wrong with me? I feel so dizzy, and my body feels heavy. Hey..." Diana is unsure if what she said was aloud or her own thoughts. She is trying to call for help, but she is left with that same confusion. Whether she said it aloud or not. Her eyes roll to the back of her head as she finally passes out. She is sweating profusely, and her cheeks are completely flushed. She lies outside with no one to see her as it is late, and mostly everyone is sleeping soundly in their dorms.
Hours go by until Lori suddenly jolts awake. She looks around her room, brushing back her messy red hair. She squints as she looks at her phone to check the time. It is still rather early for her classes, and the sun is still not out from what she can see.
"Mmm, Diana... Diana is not in her room." The thought suddenly passes through Lori's mind. She's not sure how she knows that, but she does. She's always had that sixth-sense to her. She can usually tell if someone is or is not in a room close by to her. No one has ever been able to explain this ability to her, and this skill doesn't really seem amazing to her anymore.
Lori gets out of bed, slips on her sandals, and walks out of her room. She shivers, having had forgotten to grab a sweater. "Mmm, no time. Must find Diana." Lori looks up and down the lit hallway. Her eyes widen as she sees someone collapsed right by the steps of the second floor.
"Diana?!" Lori runs down the hall and is able to see that it is her. "Hey, what happened?!" She shakes her shoulder, seeing no reaction she turns Diana around to get her face up to look her over better.
Lori analyzes Diana's body, seeing her torn blazer and the blood on her knees. She touches her flushed face, feeling how hot she is. "Oh, this is bad. Come on, let's go to my room!" Lori grabs under her arms and drags her down all the way to her room. Lori is nearly out of breath as she manages to get Diana in her room and onto her bed.
Lori goes to her plants, pulling out medicinal herbs that help with fevers and herbs that help with cleaning out wounds. She pulls up her hair, washes her hands, and quickly helps Diana to the best of her ability. Herbology is not her strong suit, so she decides to make a call to someone who is very good at it.
"Lori? What is it? It's still early to be-"
"Chelsea, can you come to the dorms?! I don't know what happened, but I found Diana injured and with a full fever down the hall. I don't know how long she's been out there. I tried to give her first-aid, but I'm not the best at it. I need your help or maybe I should call a hospital?!" Lori starts to mess up her hair even more, making the curls stick out every which way.
"Lori, take a breath! I'm on my way. Just keep an eye on Diana. Keep her cool with a cold compress. Do you have one?" Lori makes a sound of approval as she hears Chelsea rushing to get her school uniform on and rummages through her room for prepared medication that helps with any infections and fevers.
"See you in a bit, stay calm, Lori!" Chelsea hangs up and then heads over to her parents' bedroom. She knocks on their door and then opens it right after. The pair is startled awake, and they look around on high alert.
"I'm so sorry, Mama, Papa! I need to get to Acacia Academy right now. Can you drive me?!" Chelsea asks of her parents.
"What? What, baby, what do you mean?" Chelsea's mother questions her. Her father quickly gets out of bed and gets some shoes on.
"Alright, explain on the way, come on, Chely!" Chelsea apologizes to her mom and heads out first outside to the family car. As promised, her father doesn't question her until they are out of the driveway.
"Mama? What's happening? Was that Chely and dad?" The older woman looks at her young teen and goes to help him back in his room.
"It must have involved one of her friends. Go back to bed, Damien." He follows her lead without complaint. He is still very tired himself.
"Do you want me to wait out here, Chely?" Her father asks of her. Chelsea shakes her head.
"No, I think it'll be fine. Thank you for bringing me on such short notice. Love you!" Chelsea kisses her dad's cheek before hoping out of the car and running into the academy, making her way towards the dorms. Her dad watches her go off worriedly.
Chelsea runs up the stairs to Lori's dorm, entering her room without knocking. Lori gets up from the bedside and goes to meet with her halfway.
"Chelsea! Come here, please help me!" Lori leads Chelsea to her bedroom. Chelsea sets her stuff aside and checks over Diana as well. Checking up on Lori's emergency aid.
"This is good, Lori. This should help her out a lot. I will give her some medicine to help fight off infections." Chelsea goes to the kitchen to get a glass of water and mixes it with the capsules she brought. She breaks them to put in the medicine and mix it together. "Help me hold her head up while we get her to drink this."
Lori nods and sits Diana up, setting her on her lap to get her head up and lowering her jaw a bit. Chelsea carefully feeds the medicine to Diana, trying not to spill. Diana reflexively swallows the medicine, her face scrunching a bit in disgust, but she remains unconscious.
"There, now we just gotta wait to see if the medicine takes. I don't get it... what could have happened? I could have sworn that Dean had gone after Diana. Maybe he didn't catch up to her, and she ended up in trouble?" Chelsea says more to herself than to Lori.
"Oh, should we tell Dean?" Lori asks Chelsea. Chelsea looks at the clock on her phone and shakes her head.
"Maybe not right now. It's still early, we can tell him later. Let's let Diana recover for now." Chelsea sits down on the floor beside Diana, taking her hand to keep an eye on her temperature. Lori follows to sit as well, and they both watch over Diana until their own sleepiness takes over.
